  1. Hello,
    I have the multiuser version and I use PayPal for payment. I have problems with the Return URL from PayPal.
    I have entered in the payments tab for paypal my return URL.I have followed the instructions and activated the Return URL from PayPal in my account (Auto Return), but the redirection after the successful payment is on my home page not on the specific URL I have set.

    Thank you!

    • Hello.
      The payment setting is individual for the each user. So if you are use the booking form of the other user, then settings you are changed, so you will be redirected to the page, which was set at the settings of that user. Please recheck it.

      • Thanks, I know that and have for each user activated the return link individually. I used for the same purpose also the sandbox environment and live for testing. how can i debug this problem?

        • Hello,

          its strange it have to take the return  URL of the each specific user. Please recheck  that you be sure that  you are set the correct link for the specific user at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

          You can  check  the "return link" as a parameter at the payment form, using the firebug tool in Firefox.

            • Hello.
              Can you send the screenshots of the URL in the Booking > Settings > Payment > PayPal page of that specific user, also the screenshot of the Booking > Resources page of that specific user and the link to the page, where this issue is exist to this email support @ wpbookingcalendar.com.
              So then I will recheck it more detail.

    Please help!

    • Hello,
      You are need to configure the 2 different booking forms at the Booking > Settings > Fields page. One form will have one list of time slot selections and other form will have the time slot selection list. The possibility to configure several custom booking forms at the Booking > Settings > Fields page is available at the Business Medium version.Please read more how to insert booking shortcode and configure the selection of the specific form into the post or page here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/ You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding. (if you are using the Business Small version, you can make upgrade to the Business Medium version, using the Upgrade link at the top right side at General Booking Settings page. But please test the live demo before).

      • hi but im using small business package. is there a way to change the range time for the 2 different calender

        • Hello.
          In the Business Small version is possible to configure only one type of booking form at the Booking > Settings > Fields page, which is possible to use for the booking resources (calendars). The several (custom) booking forms are support at the Business Medium and higher versions.

  3. <p>Massage Type: [select massage "Thai" "Balinese" "Swedish" ] </p>

    Hi i have input this code in the settings > fields secion.

    It allows a dropdown option in my calender booking for the different type of massages. https://holabyss.com/book-me-for-1-hr-79/
    but why is the Massage Type not captured in the backend system? What i received that needs my approval looks like this  :

    Start timeEnd timeFirst Name:tayLast Name:carEmail:Address:12jsnxCity:sinPost code:134223Country:SINGAPOREPhone:Number of visitors:Children:Details:

    There is no Massage Type captured and there are redundant emphasis on 'Children' and 'number of visitors'

    • Hello.
      You are need to have at the bottom form on the Booking > Settings > Fields page the shortcode like this:

      [massage]

      So then in the new bookings you will get the info about the type of massage. Also at the same bottom form you can remove other redundant

  4.

    Hi please help! i cant access settings and installed plugins in my wordpress!

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ',' in /home/holabyss/public_html/holabyss/wp-content/plugins/booking.bs.4.0.2/lib/wpdev-booking-class.php on line 3831

    This keep appearing! what do i do?

    • Hello,
      Its seems that you are make some modifications with errors.
      Please restore the original version of the Booking Calendar to the folder: /home/holabyss/public_html/holabyss/wp-content/plugins/booking.bs.4.0.2 using the FTP.
      Firstly you are need to delete the current version from that folder, so then you will get working site, after that restore the original version of Booking Calendar.
      Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.

  5. Hi,
    I've just started using  Version 9.Business.Medium.SingleSite.4.0.2
    I'm using season filters to increase the prices by 30% on certain dates, and this is working well to increase the price on those dates.  However,  I expected these 'high season' dates in the booking calendar to be shown in a different colour, but they look just the same as the normal price dates.  Is it possible to make the high season (higher price) dates display in a different colour?
    My test page is here:   https://cotswoldyurts.co.uk/wp/oakridge-yurt/    and as you can see, the 11th March and 25th March dates look just the same colour, despite being different prices (25th March is high season price).
    Is there a dashboard setting I have missed somewhere, or failing that, is there a CSS hook that I could use to change the colour of the higher priced dates?
    thanks,
    Peter

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately the set of the dates in the different colors, based on the season filters is not possible yet. We will add this feature to todo list for the future updates.

      • OK, thanks for the reply, I think it would be a popular feature.
        best wishes,
        Peter

  6. Hello-

    Under 'Bookings Listing' -- 'Actions', when I roll over the tools such as edit, confirm, delete, the icons disappear and I can't select them.

        Is there anything else I can do to fix this? I don't know how to check for javascript errors or how to fix them.

        Thank You!!!
        Neil

  7.
    Hello,

    I would like to use this calendar to book services.  How do I enable so that my customer can choose how many hours they book per day?
    So customer choose 9 March = 6 hours, 12 March = 5 hours, 17 March = 10 hours
    Can this be done?
    Thank you

    • And if this can be done, can the calendar calculate the cost?
      example
      9 March = 6 hours, 12 March = 5 hours, 17 March = 10 hours (not predefined times)
      TOTAL = 21 hours
      Resource cost $5 per hour
      TOTAL RESOURCE COST = $105

      • Hello.
        Unfortunately, the configurations as in your description, is not possible in the plugin.
        At the Booking Calendar Business Small and Business Medium versions are possible to make the bookings for the specific time slot for the selected date. But its not possible to select the different timeslots for the different selected days, yet.

        Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.
        Please read the Booking Calendar version overview here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/versions-overview/
        You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

  8. Hi,
    Is it possible to only allow 'Insert Booking Calendar' icon in WordPress editor to show on certain page (templates). For example, I only want the calendar functionality on the 'booking page', not on the 'home' and 'about us' pages. In doing this, would it also remove the booking calendar code from pages that don't have this functionality?
    Thanks,
    Adam.

      • Hi,
        Thanks for response but that does not quite answer question:
        I add calendars to pages using PHP code but I don't want the Booking calendar icon to show on the WordPress tool when editing posts or pages.
        Thanks,
        Adam.

        • Hello,
          if you are want to disable the "booking button" at the edit post/page toolbar, so please open this file: ../booking/lib/wpdev-booking-class.php
          find this code:

                  add_action( 'init', array(&$this,'add_custom_buttons') );
                  add_action( 'admin_head', array(&$this,'insert_wpdev_button'));

          and comment it, like this:

                //  add_action( 'init', array(&$this,'add_custom_buttons') );
                //  add_action( 'admin_head', array(&$this,'insert_wpdev_button'));

            • Hi again,
              Going on from my previous question, I notice that Booking Calendar adds a lot of content within the <header> tag of all pages.
              Can this code (starting with '<!-- Booking Calendar Scripts -->') be removed on pages that don't have a hard coded calendar added to them?
              For example...
              if ( !is_front_page() ) { // Hide calendar code
              Thanks,

              Adam.

              • Hello,
                I will add this feature to todo list for the future updates.

                Right now, you can open this file ../booking/lib/wpdev-booking-class.php

                find this line:

                add_action('wp_head',array(&$this, 'client_side_print_booking_head'));

                add make the modification like this

                if ( ( strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'],'/bookingpage/') !==false ) || (WP_ADMIN) ) {
                  add_action('wp_head',array(&$this, 'client_side_print_booking_head'));
                }

                At this example, this line

                 if ( strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'],'/bookingpage/') !==false ) {

                is condition to showing the booking calendar scripts inside of the specific page. In this case its page, which have term in URL, like this: ‘bookingpage’

  9. Hi Ya

    I run a small campsite and am really impressed with your system.  Before I purchase can I ask if it is possible to have a drop down for the number of children and set a childs rate of pay?

    This is because I dont charge per pitch I charge per person and the children are half price.

    It woud be a shame if this was not the case as it would mean the user to make two booking - one for them as adults and again for their children.

    Thanks

    Barry

    • Hello.
      1) Yes, you can configure the dropdown for the children at the Booking > Settings > Fields page. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
      2) If you need to add additional costs, per visitors (or children) selections, so then you can make this configuration.
      You can insert into the Booking form, at the Booking > Settings > Fields page some selectbox (or checkbox ), like this:

      Visitors: [select visitors "1" "2" "3" "4"]

      Children: [select children "1" "2" "3" "4"]

      and at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page at the advanced cost management section for the option visitors, set some additional cost.

      visitors:
      1=100%
      2=200%
      3=300%
      4=400%

      children:
      1=100%
      2=150%
      3=200%
      4=250%

      • Hi Ya Thanks

        will this allow a family of four 2adults and two children to book using just one form submit?

        Thanks

        Barry

          • Which package would you recommend?

            We are mainly a farm but in the summer (about 2 months of it that we get!) we have about 10 -  20 campers a week and this year I have bought 3 yurts to rent out?

            Ta

            Barry

            • Is the purchase price a one off payment - will all future upgrades be free?

              Thanks for your time.

              • Hello.
                1)Please read the Booking Calendar version overview here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/versions-overview/
                You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.
                2) Its one time cost. You are also be able to request the free updates of plugin (when they are ready) during the one year after purchasing of the plugin.
                If you will need to extend this period to the next year its will cost 50% from the originalcost.
                Here is more info: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/getting-updates-of-paid-versions/

                • Hi Ya

                  I have been looking at the Large business because of the extended functionality.

                  Am very pleased with what I am looking at - good job.

                  What if I didnt need to update for two years for example - would it just be the one off payment or does it need to be paid consecutively as a rolling contract?

                  • You can use your purchased version as long as you are need.
                    Just after one year of usage you can not request for the free update.

  10. HI!

    In fact I want to change the style of the calendar table, I change the css code to enable the border of the calendar table

    to control  it?

    BEST REGARDS!

    • Hello.
      Can you send the link to your Page with booking calendar?
      Do you need to have the border around all calendar(s)? Or do you need to have the border only around the header in the week day names section?
