      Also please contact the PayPal support about the reason of that issue, if its will occuer again. Untill now there is no any similar issues with product.

      PS. You can also check how to upgrade to the latest version of the booking Calendar here, if you are need to do it. Here is changelog.

  2. Does this plugin provide a iCal feed? My client would like to get reminders sync’d to his iphone.

    Cheers, mark

    • Hello,
      Thank you for interest to the Booking Calendar.
      Unfortunately it’s not support the integrations with iCal for viewing or subscription for the bookings, yet. Sorry.
      Kind regards.

  3. How do I make the booking from calculate for more than one visitor? Right now, if you select more than one visitor it always stays the same price.  It should double, triple, etc. when you select more than one visitor.

    thanks!,
    Rob

    • Hello.
      It’s possible at the Business Medium and higher versions.

      If you will need to add additional costs, per visitors selections, so then you can make this configuration.
      You can insert into the Booking form, at the Booking > Settings > Fields page some selectbox (or checkbox ), like this:

      <p>Visitors: [select visitors "1" "2" "3" "4"]</p>

      and at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page at the advanced cost management section for the option visitors, set some additional cost.
      visitors:
      1=100%
      2=200%
      3=300%
      4=400%

  4. How can we use two seasonal filters within one calendar period (week, month)

    1. If one week is shared within two different months (i.e.: 27, 28, 29, 39 of April and 1, 2, 3 of May)
    How can we setup price for THIS very week using seasonal filter?
    2. If there is a price for selected-days (for 7, 14, 21, 28) under condition that price for the
    1st week = 10
    2nd week = 10
    3rd week = 20

    How to setup price for 21 day, if the first and the second week belong to one seasonal filter and the third week – to another/different seasonal filter?

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    • Hello.
      We are right now in development process of such new type of season filters, where you be able just a select the specific dates for creating new season filter. So it’s will be available in the next update, which I hope will comfy ASAP.

  5. One of my clients has 36 filters on the booking system to maximise income for the next 12 months. I suspect that they are contributing to the extensive loading time of the page, however the number is unlikely to decrease for the aforementioned reason. I thought I would pass on the clients booking design comments in the hope that they may be taken into consideration when updating the system, and as an insight into how the end user operates the plugin:
    “One reason why I have used so many filters is that when I established the various filters, there seemed to be only an option to select dates within a certain month, rather than dates across more than one month. So where the same rate applies across the end of one month and the beginning of the next month, rather than capturing this all within one filter, I have had to use two separate filters. An example of this is the use of two filters to retain the same rate for the 7 day Half-Term period between 27/10/12 and 2/11/12. If the set up process could be altered so that one filter could be used across more than one month then this would significantly reduce the number of filters used.”
    This would be another way to address the loading time issue :)
    On the costs and rates settings page, it would be really helpful to be able to manually drag and drop filters into the desired order, or automatically sort the filters by name or date of filter. Basically there are filters for 2012 mixed up with 2013 in a random order, and they are very hard to follow, so anything to make it clearer would be appreciated.
    Thank you for your efforts :)

    • Hello Laura,
      thank you for your comments and suggestions.
      Just right now, in the development version we are working under the new way of creation filters. The new type of filter will allow simple dates selections during year(s), which you are want to use in a filter (its will be not depend from the month or weeks rules, etc..). So using that type of filter you will be able to use one filter instead of 3 filters for these dates interval: 27/10/12 to 2/11/12.
      Its will be available in the next update. (unfortunately, I can not say about the exact date, of this update, bu I hope its will be asap).

  6. Hello,
    in full version is the possibility of reserving for hours?
    For example.
    From 14.11.2012 8:00 to 14.11.2012 9:00.
    Or only for days?
    Thanks.
    Jane

    • Hello.
      At the Booking Calendar Business Small and Business Medium versions are possible to make the bookings for the specific time slot.

      Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the time slot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

      But please note, right now in the calendar the partially booked dates (dates which is booked for the specific time(s) ) is marked by clock icon not by diagonal line that crosses the box. This functionality is at our todo list and will be available in the future updates.

      You can read how to configure the timeslots inside of the booking form at this page: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
      Or you can activate the “fixed time” at the General Booking Settings page and set the start and end time there, so then you can use these times as check in/out times.

  7. Hi all,
    I have a question. I would like to change language, how can i do that?
    I dont need multi language, only change language from english to anotherone.
    If i must use shortcode could you tell me please whichone?
    Im using a free version.
    Thanks for great plugin.
    Have a nice day.
    Paul

    • Hello.
      The Booking Calendar is use the active locale of the site for the activation of the specific language from the ../booking/languages/ folder (please check at the FAQ, what languages is available in actual version).
      For activating the specific translation you have to have active the locale at the config.php file at root of your WordPress installation.

      If you are use the free version, so then you are need to make the FULL reinstall of the plugin, its because the email template (and some other settings) is saved to the DB during activation of the plugin and you are need to make this reactivation. Its mean that the exist bookings and settings will be erased. For doing that, please make these steps:

      – open firstly the General Booking Settings menu page, and at the right side of the page recheck that this option “Delete booking data during uninstall” is turned On (checked), its will be mean that all your booking data during deactivation will be deleted;
      – open the WordPress Plugins menu page and click on “Deactivate” link of Booking Calendar. Wait for the message “Plugin is deactivated successfully”. It’s important.
      – open the WordPress Plugins menu page and click on “Activate” link of Booking Calendar. Wait for the message “Plugin is Activated successfully”. It’s important.

  8. Hello, I have WP Booking Calendar installed on the following site: http://www.gingerspetcare.com/availability/

    Recently I updated WordPress and the plugin. Now when adding a new booking I get an error message that says simply: “403 forbidden” With an option to click “OK” This happens in the Admin area as well as on the page.

    The ./wp-admin/error.log shows no errors.
    No plugin is interfering.
    .htaccess is empty except for the opening and closing WordPress tags: # BEGIN WordPress and # END WordPress

    Things I have tried already:

    Deleting and reinstalling the plugin (from the WP administration panel)
    Setting permalink to default (see the empty .htaccess)
    Made sure user roles were correct for admin access. (Both users attempted were administrators)

    What do you suggest trying next? My client loves your plugin and I’d really like to get it to work for her again.

    Thank you very much!
    Charlie

    • Okay, I solved my own problem and thought I’d share the solution in case someone else has the same problem:

      Turns out there was a second .htaccess file located in ./wp-content/.htaccess with the following lines:
      <Files *.php>
      deny from all
      </Files>
      I commented them out so now it looks like this:
      #<Files *.php>
      #deny from all
      #</Files>
      And now it works fine.

      Thanks again for the great plug-in!

  9. WordPress Version 3.4.2
    WP Booking Calendar Version: 9.MultiUser.SingleSite.4.0.1

    I am working on a site that has two groups of people that need access to information about bookings.  The first group contains the customers.  They need to be able to log in and see any bookings they have created at various locations.  The second group contains the managers of the different locations.  They need to be able to log in and see the reservations for the day of their location only.  Can you tell me if this can be done?

    • Hello.
      1) In the first users group – visitors, who are just made the restorations, is possible to see, cancel or modify the reservations only through the links from the emails, which are they received after the reservation. Its not possible to have some page at the admin panel, where they will see all their reservations. Please read more about how to configure it here: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-editing-cancel-payment-bookings-for-visitors/

      2) The second user group – managers, probably you are have these users as registered wordpress users. so in that case you can activate for the each of these users (at the MultiUser version of the Booking Calendar) the own wordpress booking admin panel. So they can see and manage the bookings of own booking resources. Please note, its possible to filter and show the bookings only for the “today” date or any other period using the “Filter” tab at the top of the “Booking Listing” admin page.
