  1. Hi, I have the medium business version and for some reason my prices in the season filters is not registering when a client books within the filter dates. Cheers,

    • Hello,
      please open the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page
      then click on the "Rates" button ,and recheck that the checkboxes at the left side near each of your rate is checked- its mean that the specific rate is active.
      If you are still will have this issue, please send the screenshots of the cost configurations settings page(s) and link to the page with booking form to this email support @ wpbookingcalendar.com

    I have recently purchased Business Medium and would like to know how to search for client on data base.
    Example if i have booked in 150 clients instead of looking for client's name one by one is there a option where i can type in cleints name to find his/her booking. 
    Also how to make bookings in dashboard in order.

    • Hello,
      please open the Booking Listing admin page. Then select the "Filter tab" at the top of the page. Click at the "Bottom" arrow under the tab - its will extend the filter tab and show additional parameters for the searching of the specific booking. You can find there the "Keyword" parameter, which you can use for the searching of the specific booking by "visitor name" or some other keyword.

      At the exist booking calendar version is exist restricted number of sorting options by specific key. Please recheck it at the same place, where you can find the "Keyword" parameter field.

  3. hi, i recently bought the medium version.
    I have 2 questions:

    * is there a possibility to sort the bookings by (booking)date (instead of id, ...)
    * i want to show the selected date in the email (that's send to the moderator). How do i do this/which shortcode do i use?
    "selected date: [calender]" --> doesn't seem to work

    • Hello.
      1) In the actual version, is not possible to define the sorting of bookings by dates. Sorry. This feature will be available in the future updates. It's not supported yet because of performance issue.
      2) you can use at the Settings Emails page this shortcode [dates] in the email content templates for showing the booking dates in the emails.

  4. Hi,

    Is it possible to utilise the 'Valuation days'  functionality on a per night basis rather than per day basis. I cannot say how important this functionality is to my client and hope you can help?

    • Hello.
      It's possible to make the functionality in back order.
      You can set the cost per day at the settings page.
      And then using the "valuation days" functionality set the cost configuration like this:
      "For 2nd day = 0 USD per selected date"
      What is mean that the cost will be calculated in the the same way, if you would set it as cost per night. But in additional you can configure the other cost settings at the "Valuation days".

  5. When using the payment option, you choose the dates & submit the form then it shows you the paypal
    button and the price. Would it be possible to edit that page to include more info besides the price?
    Maybe include the [starttime] & [endtime] so it says something like:
    "Your total due is $200 for Aug 29 2012 - Aug 31 2012"
    Just thought it would be nice to see the dates your paying for on the payment page and also if you could
    pass that so it shows at paypal under the details so it shows what dates or how many days they are paying
    for. I suppose they get that in the email but just a thought.

      you can add some additional info about the payment at the Booking > Settings > Payment page inside of the "Description" field. But this field have the restrictions about the number of characters (its restrictions from the payment system).

      And its not possible yet to have such confirmation info just as a page at near the payment form. Sorry. But we will add this feature to the todo list for having it at the future updates.

      • What if you use a "thank you" page instead of payment page, can you print the fields / variables on a php page using something like:
        <?php echo $name; ?>
        Or is it a lot more complicated than that?

          sorry, right now such functionality at the "Thank you" page is not supported.

  6. In the medium business edition, is it possible to use different calendars on different pages? For example: I have 3 different pages for 3 different products. I want product 1 to have calendar 1 where people can only book product 1. Product 2 needs calendar 2 where people can only book product 2, etc.

    Is this possible with the medium version?

      Yes, of course, it's possible at that version. You are firstly need to Create the specific booking resources at the Booking Resource admin panel and then insert the booking forms (calendars) into the different pages for the different booking resources.     • Hello,
      At the Business Small and higher versions is possible to activate the "range days" selections using 2 mouse clicks and then set the minimum number of days selections.
      But this feature is work for the any days in a calendar and for the any booking resources.
      Its not possible to define the minimum days selections only for the specific days in a year. Sorry.

    • Hello,
      at the paid versions of the Booking Calendar you can make this translations at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.

      If you are use the free version so then this translations are inside of the translation files. Please read more about it here. Also when you are made the translation, you will need to make the FULL reinstall of the plugin, because its save this info during the installation of the plugin, its mean that all of your booking data and settings will be removed and initial settings will be activated:
      - open firstly the General Booking Settings menu page of Booking Calendar admin panel, and at the right side of the page recheck that this option “Delete booking data during uninstall” is turned On (checked), its mean that all your booking data during deactivation will be deleted;
      - open the WordPress Plugins menu page and click on “Deactivate” link of Booking Calendar. Wait for the message “Plugin is deactivated successfully”. It’s important.
      - Now open the WordPress Plugins menu page and click on “Activate” link. Wait for the message “Plugin is activated successfully”. It’s important. Otherwise not all DB tables will be created, and you will have an error messages.

    I have read on a support enquiry dated time last year with regards to different images to replace the clock icon for partial day bookings.

    Like the original enquiry, my system books half days and I would ideally like to use a diagonal line to show a morning or afternoon booking.

    Has this feature been added yet or is there a modification to the code that I can use to perform the above functionality?

      Unfortunately this feature is not added yet to the plugin. Sorry. Its still in the todo list. I will set the higher priority to this item to have done its asap.

  10. Hi
    I use the free version of booking calendar.
    Today I tried to book three months but it was not possible to book all days in one booking! I was only able to book 50 days. Is it a limit of 50 days booking? If, is it possible to change the limit?

      Right now at the Calendar is limitation for maximum 50 days selection ,but you can change it at the ../booking/lib/wpdev-booking-class.php file at this code:

      var multiple_day_selections = 50;

      to your value.
