  1. Hi,

    Is there a way to do the following:

    If any part of a booking falls between the 24th December through to the 2nd of January - add an extra £30 per day that falls within these two dates?

    Thanks.

    • Hello,
      Its possible at the Business Medium and higher versions. You can define these dates at the season filters at the Booking > Resources > Filters page and then at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page set the rates for those dates from the season filters for the specific booking resources.
      You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

      • Hi,

        I have just tried the above out on the Business Large demonstration (https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com) and I get the same issues:

        I have added in a Christmas filter for Dec 24th through to the 31st.

        In the standard rooms, I have set up a 'From - 1 to 5 days = 30 additional USD per 1 day' formula.

        The price I get back on the front end is $0.00 regardless of what days I select from the 24th December onwards.

        If I change the filter to 'From - 2 to 5 days = 30 additional USD per 1 day' or 'From - 3 to 5 days = 30 additional USD per 1 day' the maths still do not add up?

        Can you help?

        Thanks.

        • Hello,
          you are need to define these cost settings not inside of the "Valuation days" but using the "Rates" button at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page.
          In this case you are need to know the normal cost per day for the specific booking resource. So for example if the normal cost is 100 per day,
          so then you are need to set the "rate" as 130 USD for 1 day for that your season filter (please do not forget to activate this your rate - set checkbox at the left side near your rate as checked).
          Kind regards.

  2. Hi There,
    I have one issue which i need.

    I have a ressorce which is bookable on hourly base. But also on different days so

    Starting Sunday 10:00 ending Monday 14:00

    If i try this i get startime endime errors. and the booking is not possible

    Is this possible at all?
    and further more the only the hours between 8.00 AM - 8.00 PM are costoption in this scenario.
    Would that be possible with any version ?

    Thank you for fast replay.

    Cheers Burner

    • Hello.
      In a first scenario if you are need to make the bookings from Sunday 10:00 to Monday 14:00, you are need to select the 2 days (Sunday and Monday) and select the start time as 10:00 and end time as 14:00. So then you can make the booking. Please recheck that at the general booking settings page you do NOT set the using time as recurring time. This fictionality is possible at the Business Small and Business Medium versions.

      If you are want to have possibility to set the additional cost for the each time selections, if you are use the times as time slots in the selectbox, so it's possible at the Business Medium versions. At this versions at the Resource Advanced cost settings page you can set the additional cost for the each options from the selectbox or checkbox. If you are mean something else, please explain it more detail.

  3. I tried searching for something to my use case scenario of setting up my 9.Hotel.SingleSite.3.0 plugin.

     I'm setting up a calendar for a Yoga Class (non-profit but donations are accepted). We have usually 5 instructors that have their own set times and days but never conflicts with one another. I'm still struggling to understand the setup/configurations as it seems the setup examples (defaults) are for Hotels/Apartments. What is the best way of setting this up? Each day of the week has an instructor training but of course the unavailability will be the holidays (US). How can I achieved this? Any steps/screenshots will be greatly appreciated it!

    • Hello ,
      Usually the possibility to make the bookings for the specific time are available at the Business Small/Medium versions, but at the Business Large version (old Hotel Edition version) is possible to make the bookings for the specific time only for the booking resources with capacity =1 (single booking resources). Please read more about it here : https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-resource/
      But even if you will use the the single booking resources, please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day.
      (you can check this restrictions at the features page of the plugin side or here : https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/versions-overview/ )
      Please read more abut the configurations of the time shortcodes here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/

      Its seems that you are need to create the specific booking resource for the each of your yoga trainer, and then insert the booking form for this trainer into the specific post or page.

      About the configurations of the available dates.
      You can define the dates, which you are want to set as available at the season filters at the Booking > Resources > Filters page and then at the Booking > Resources > Availability page set these dates from the season filters as available or unavailable for the specific booking resources (your teachers).
      Kind regards.

  4. I have purchased and installed booking calendar business small version. I would like the users to be able to specify the start time and end time within a day to reserve a resource. I have used the [starttime] and [endtime] to implement this. However, when the users enters a time (e.g. 08:00 - 09:00) the resource is booked for the whole day i.e (08:00 - 21:00). Please let me know how I can fix this issue.

    Thanks

    • Hello,
      please recheck carefully, that your visitors was entered the 09:00 and not the 21:00 for the end time shortcode at your booking form.
      I am retested it at this demo (firstly changed the times shortcodes here), and everything is seems working fine with those time shortcodes.

      Please read more about other time shortcodes configurations here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/

  5. Hello,

    my version is 9.Premium.Plus.SingleSite.3.0
    i have got two resources on my website. I have created one post for each one.
    The first contain [booking type=2 form_type='standard' nummonths=2]
    and the second post contain [booking type=4 form_type='standard' nummonths=2]

    If i book a date, it works but the date is booked for my two resources...
    Do you know what's happen ?
    King regards.
    J.

    • Hello.
      Please recheck one more time, that in your pages you are inserted the booking shortcodes for the different resources as at your description. The type=2 and type=4 parameters. It's ID of your booking resources.
      If you are still will have this issue, please send the links to these 2 pages and the screenshot of Booking Listing page, where you can see the reservations.
      Regards

        • Hello
          at these 2 pages:
          https://booking.perigordhome.com/?p=30
          and
          https://booking.perigordhome.com/?p=6

          you are inserted the Booking forms for the same booking resource with ID=2
          So probably you are use this shortcode: [booking type=2 form_type='standard' nummonths=2] at both pages.

          Please recheck it more carefully.

          Please check also for the any "cache" plugins, so may be you are using the cache plugin and you are open evrytime the same page without changes from the cache.

          • Hello,
            "So probably you are use this shortcode: [booking type=2 form_type='standard' nummonths=2] at both pages."
            I'm sure not ! i have check an rechecked many times, ID are differents...
            And i have no cache plugin
            I have changed my way, Ihave created two differents hardcoded pages with this
            "<?php do_action('wpdev_bk_add_form', $bookingtype, $calendar_count);?>"
            and finally it's works.

            Thank for your time,
            J.

  6. I have 9.Business.Small.SingleSite.4.0.1 running pretty much ok.  I'm looking into the export to csv function, I get no error messages, but the file created is blank (0kB).  There are bookings but both Export and Export All buttons seem to make a blank csv file.  Am I missing something?

    • Hello.
      1) Please recheck firstly your admin page for the any JavaScript errors.
      2) Please recheck that the CSV file, which is created, have the rights for the adding content. Try to delete this file, and then try to export the bookings to the CSV again.
      3) At least try to check the error.log file from your server configuration for the any relative errors.

  7. Hello Tech Support,
    Lets say our WP membership site expects to have thousands of members offering one service in any one of our 25 categories. On their profile page is his appointment or booking calendar. Website visitors should be able to easily book hours, days or weeks as desired.
    For now all members have a free membership. WE earn $ by bringing customers to the registered members and collecting one dollar for our service. Therefore, we need an affordable script and one that handles our members needs.
    What are those needs? Well, please register for a test account in the ENTERTAINMENT category at https://asianhighway26.com/?page_id=140
    Next, pretend you are a buyer and start on the index page and select your ENTERTAINMENT category. Click on image #3 and you will receive a list of others in your traveling area. When you click VIEW DETAILS, there is where a potential customer will see if you are available on the dates and times you are interested in doing business. We know that YOU will want to list your not available dates and hours. There may be other features but this is the most important, we believe.

    Will your appointment calendar software do this?

    As you can see here, we offer to pay for ideas you present that we use: https://asianhighway26.com/?page_id=126

    • Hello.
      1) Right now at the Booking Calendar MultiUser version there is no restrictions on the number of active booking users. So each wordpress user can be activated to have own individual admin panel. Only, right now there is not paginations at the page of the users listings, so if you are have thousands of users, and if you open the page (logged in as super booking admin) to activate the specific user, its can take some time for the loading of this page, because its will list all users at one page. Other pages, like resource listings or booking listing are have paginations of the page.
      2) Right now the booking calendar can not take fee or some other payments from the active other users based on the number of their bookings or some other rules.
      3) and unfortunately, inside of the actual version of the Booking calendar there is no some "affordable script and one that handles our members needs". Sorry.

      You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

  8. Hello,

    MULTIUSER
    I need this functionality:
    Independent, separate booking sidebar widgets for each member hotel
    WP Booking Calendar can provide this capability in version MULTIUSER?

    • Hello.
      According the "Independent, separate booking sidebar widgets for each member hotel" - Its possible to insert the booking forms into the separate pages or posts but not into the widgets like in your description.
      Usually in the sidebar is activated the one or several widgets, where is possible to select the booking resource for the specific widget.
      But Booking Calendar do not have functionality for the identifications of the specific widget to the page(s) of the specific hotel, its more functionality of the theme already.
      So you can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

      • Thanks, I immel view
        Independent, separate booking sidebar widgets for each booking user

        user 1 - widget 1
        user 2 - widget 2
        user 3 - widget 3...
        widget can support a user ID?

        • Its possible for the posts but not for the widgets.
          Kind regards.

    • Hello.
      Please try to make this fix:
      Please open the ../booking/inc/biz_m.php file
      Find this function declarations: show_rates_at_calendar
      Inside content of this function find this code:

      for ($i = 0; $i < 365; $i++) {

      And replace it to this code:

      for ($i = 0; $i < 732; $i++) {

  9. Hello,
    i have the "booking.premium.plus.3.0" version of your plugin.
    I want to optimize loading time, it can take 14 to 30 seconds to load, too long for my clients.
    How can i do that ?
    Thank you,
    J.

      • Hello,
        thank you, i have updated, but nothing change...
        there is nothing except calendar on the page,
        and it took approximately 20 sec. to load.
        regards
        Julien.

        • Hello,
          How long is loading page, when you are not insert the booking shortcode into it?
          (try to remove the booking calendar form and then check the loading time).
          How many bookings do you have inside of that booking form ? Can you send the link to this page for rechecking it.
          Thank you.

            • Hello.
              During loading the page without the booking form, I am get the time: 4,99 sec.
              And loading the booking form with booking form is take 13,04 sec.

              I can suggest that you are deactivated the CAPTCHA at the General Booking Settings page, so your server will not generate the image for the captcha during every request and its can improve the performance. Also we will check more detail how to improve performance more there, but probably its will be already in the next update.

              • Thank you for your answer,
                i have deactivated the captcha but it seems not to be different (stats from firebug : 14.4s (onload: 14.89s))
                Is it possible to add a loading message, wich desapear when calendar is load  ??
                Thank you,
                Julien.

                • Hello.
                  ok please open the ../booking/lib/wpdev-booking-class.php file
                  find this code:
                  $calendar = '<div id="calendar_booking'.$my_boook_type.'"> </div>';
                  and replace it to this code:
                  $calendar = '<div id="calendar_booking'.$my_boook_type.'">'.__('Calendar is loading...','wpdev-booking').'</div>';

                  2) then find this code:

                  $my_result = ' <div style="clear:both;height:10px;"></div>' . '<div id="calendar_booking'.$bk_type.'"> </div><textarea rows="3" cols="50" id="date_booking'.$bk_type.'" name="date_booking'.$bk_type.'" style="display:none;"></textarea>' ;
                  and replace it to this code:
                  $my_result = ' <div style="clear:both;height:10px;"></div>' . '<div id="calendar_booking'.$bk_type.'">'.__('Calendar is loading...','wpdev-booking').'</div><textarea rows="3" cols="50" id="date_booking'.$bk_type.'" name="date_booking'.$bk_type.'" style="display:none;"></textarea>' ;

                  • 9.Business.Medium.SingleSite.4.0.1 - bootstrap js not disabled.
                    I notice that the booking plugin is taking a very long time to load in comparison to the other site pages see https://www.exmoorluxurycottage.co.uk/self_catering_holiday_booking. Is there any way I can decrease the load time, and/or display a loading graphic/message?
                    So far I have tried:
                    - "Light Loading" plugin (https://light-loading.cdobiz.com) with a conditional comment targeting the booking page only, however the other page elements (background images, navigation etc) are cached, so this usually isn't seen;
                    - disabling the form captcha, however this has little effect;
                    - your suggested edits to ../booking/lib/wpdev-booking-class.php, although the "calendar is loading..." doesn't fade when the calendar loads.
                    If you have any other ideas I would be grateful 🙂

                    • Hello.
                      According the hiding of the "loading" message.
                      Please open this file: ../booking/js/wpdev.bk.js
                      find this code:
                      jQuery('#calendar_booking'+ bk_type).datepick(
                      and add before that code this code:
                      jQuery('#calendar_booking'+ bk_type).text('');
                      PS. WE will try to improve the performance of the loading of calendar at client side at the future updates.
