  1. Hello!
I have installed the plugin and it seems to work fine. But now, when me or someone else make bookings, there is always the same booking day 30.9.2015 in the booking list even in the reply email. It is equal what day has been booked. Please help. Regards

Please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
      Kind regards.

  2. I would like to allow bookings by day, hour, resource and allow payment at that time. What version do I need for this? It seems that the personal does not allow for this?

    Thanks,
    Tim

    • Hello.
      1) The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Fields page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/

You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

      2) The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay and iPay88 payment gateways integration, other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

You can check overview of different Booking Calendar versions at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/

Also you can test live demos https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

      Kind Regards.

    • Hello.
      1) If you do not see the calendar at the booking form , and only see the booking form , so most probably you are having some JavaScript error at the page. You need to fix this JavaScript error for be bale to see the calendar.
If you can not find the JavaScript error, then please send the link to this page, I will check and help you to find this error. For troubleshooting about such type of errors, please check FAQ at https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.

      2) In the Booking Calendar free version at the same visible page possible to insert only one booking form. It's means that you can insert into this page only one shortcode, not the several shortcodes. Please read more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/why-the-booking-calendar-widget-not-show-on-page/
If you was meaning some other issue relative, then please explain about it more detail.

  3. Hi,
    i have a prepurchase question.

Im planning to purchase "Business Medium" but i need a feature which is very important. In the booking form the guest have to choose from a drop-down menu how much persons are coming 1-2-3-4 after the selection there must be two new fields "Name" and "Birthday" for the amount of select guests.

Is it possible to add dynamic fields attached to the selection from a drop-down ?

      • Hello,
that looks perfect. We need the Name and the birthdate. Is it possible to change the "Last Name of 2nd visitor:" field to a drop-down for birthday selection ?

        • Hello.
Yes, you can use there different form fields shortcodes. Just be sure that the names of the shortcodes was different there.
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Fields page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
          Kind Regards.

          • Thank you so much.

Last question. We want to set the minimum booking for "High season" to 7 nights but it should only be able to book from saturday but just for the "High season"

Im testing this code in the demo.
            [booking type=6 form_type='standard' nummonths=1 startmonth='2015-10' options='{select-day condition="season" for="High season" value="8,16,24"}, {select-day condition="season" for="Low season" value="3"}']

Is there a parameter to allow booking only from Saturday just in the "High season"

And another small question is if its possible to modify the calendar with css ? Is it coming with a own style.css ?

  4. Hi,
Is it possible to have direct bank deposit payments? As well as PayPal payments? Also, how do I fix a 'Payment Pending' when the status is 'Completed'?
    Thanks
    Ilona

    • Hello.
      1) Booking Calendar support only showing fixed (static) text about your bank account, for ability to make payments by your visitors manually.
Its does not make this "direct bank deposit" automatically, its means that plugin does not connect to the bank for making this payment.

      2) You can approve any bookings in the admin panel by clicking on the "Approve button".
If you will activate the PayPal payment option (for example), then you can activate the "auto approve" functionality after successful payment. But this feature will work, only in case, if visitor make the payment and click on link "Return to your website from PayPal website". Otherwise Booking Calendar will do not know about the status of the payment for this booking, if the visitor just close the browser page at the PayPal website. Or if you configure and use PayPal IPN functionality to be sure in auto approve functionality.
      Kind Regards.

  5. Hi, I am using Business Large Calendar.
I love your plugin - its awesome!
Would you kindly answer the below 2 questions.

Qu 1) How I can remove the WORDPRESS name from the subject line on the email that I receive from a new booking.
    example:
    New Booking
    Wordpress
    Sent: Wed 30/09/2015 10:31 PM
    To: "Booking system"

I have set this up for a client and I don't want them to see that it is a WordPress site - thank you!

Qu2) I am set up as the ADMINISTRATOR in WP and I have set up my Client as the EDITOR. Can I change the WP Booking calendar EMAIL under Settings/ADMIN EMAIL to my clients email address ?...and when I do, will the email booking confirmation now go to their email address? I just want to make sure before the site is launched live, as it says under SETTINGS to >>> Type default 'admin' email for booking confirmation... stating 'ADMIN' email.
*SO again can it be a different email address to that of the ADMINISTRATOR?
*I also want to remove their email address from their User Role as Editor to stop them from receiving WP update emails... so once I do this will there be any problem with my client receiving the booking confirmation emails?

I look forward to you explaining these details
    Thank you kindly

    • Hello.
      1) Please open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and recheck that there was no any "WordPress" words in the subject of email templates.
If you do not have such word there, and still see "WordPress" in subject of email, then probably its overridden by some other plugin. Please recheck for any mail plugin in your system and recheck settings of that plugin. You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.

      2) At the Booking > Settings > Emails page, you can configure emails, only about the booking processes. You can enter there any email address. "Admin" in that page is used in terms of "booking admin email". Its means that you can enter there any email.
      Kind Regards.

      • HI,
Thank you for your fast reply!

        1) I don't use any email plugins! The only plugins that I am using are as follows:
AG Custom Admin, Layer Slider, and WP Bakery Visual Composer and using the Alterna Theme. 'New booking' is the only words in the subject line @ Settings /Email. Can you please advise?
        2) Thank you for this clarification.

        • Hello.
          1) Please try to deactivate those plugins and activate default WordPress theme. Then test it. Just to recheck that there no conflicts.

If you still will have this issue, after deactivation of those plugins and theme, then please send screnshot of this issue, and screenshot of the Booking > Settings > Emails page and also link to the page with booking form to test it. Please send this info to the support @ wpbookingcalendar.com

          Kind Regards.

          • Thank you again for your fast reply! Your back up support is great.

            1) Yes will do now?

Qu2) as above, I have changed the Email to a different email (as you advised) in Settings/ Email but now I don't receive any Email to advise there is a new booking! It worked perfectly before using the Email address of the ADMIN (me).
... What I did was set up a new User (My Client as Editor) and used this new email and added it into the Settings /EMAIL , where I changed it... but now NO email arrives. You had said previously that I could change it to ANY Email but it seems that it ONLY works for the ADMIN (me) . I need it to work for my clients email address (who is NOT the ADMIN). Is there anything else I need to change ? Or do? Would you kindly advise how I can get this to work as I need to Launch this site for my client live.

            Thank you in advance!

            • Hello.
Yes, its have to work with any emails there. Try to update your version of Booking Calendar to the latest update. For future, you can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

Also, if you still will not have emails, please check this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/do-not-get-emails/

The most probably you will be need to check last point ( #6 ) from this troubleshooting instruction.

Also you can check the info about similar troubleshooting story here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/e-mail-not-sending-3

              Kind Regards.

              • Hi Thank you I will update as per you link you sent to my email address.
Can you please confirm that if I update using the file you sent and if I follow your instructions carefully in Point 4) of this link >>> https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/update-older-to-newer-paid-version/ will all the settings and Booking resources information that I have set up remain exactly the same & still function correctly without any problems? I am launching this site tomorrow so I just wanted to confirm there wont be any issues?

                Thank you once again

                • Hello.
Yes, all settings, bookings, and booking resources have to be safe.
But if you was made any customization in the CSS, JS, or PHP files of plugin, all these changes will be lost, and you will be need to make them again.

In any case, please make the backup of files and DB, before this update, so you be able to restore previous version, if you will have some issues, after update.
                  Kind Regards.

                  • HI,

                    I have upgraded successfully...
But I still have the Email problem... I hope you can help as it I midnight here and I have to launch this site in the morning!

                    Please Note the following:
                    1) I am ONLY referring to the 'New for Admin' Booking email, confirming that someone has made a booking.
                    2) The client receives the confirmation email perfectly.
                    3) It worked perfectly before I changed the EMAIL under Settings/Email. E.g if I change that email address back to the ADMIN Email I receive it ok
                    4) It ONLY does not work for my Clients Email whos Role I have set up as and 'EDITOR' only
                    5) both email addresses are professionally hosted emails and NOT a Hotmail or Yahoo etc

                    5) Do I need to change the EMAIL address under WP/ADMIN/GENERAL SETTINGS... currently that email address is my email?

I don't understand why it wont work for a different email address other than mine which is ADMIN.

Under Booking Calendar/Settings /Emails it ONLY says to type the default ADMIN email ... which makes me think you cant use any other email ONLY the ADMIN one???
I have tried all the tests and checks and the are all correct and yes the 2nd Users email does receive the Email from WordPress ( updating the password)!

                    ** frustrated ** hope u can help!

                    • Hi,
I set up a different email address for my client and it worked...phew!! I have no idea why the other one didn't as they were both from the same domain name...but finally ALL GOOD so thanks for your help.

                      Two quick questions please...
                      1) how can I make Australia the default Country at the top instead of United Kingdom?
                      2) When you click on Bookings, and at the very bottom of the page if you mouse over the clients name the info box that pops up disappears at the bottom as you run out of room... I can scroll the mouse wheel down but the box disappears and doesn't stay visible ! any workaround for that as its great for a kwik-view ? The top names pop ups are perfect!

Once again...Love the plugin... its fantastic!

                    • Hello.
Good to know that issue about emails resolved. It's seems that your sever block sending this email or your mail server block that email. Booking Calendar send all emails in the same way.

                      1) You can change country to default in country selection shortcode by using this:
                      [country "AU"]
Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/

                      2) I can suggest you was meaning popup window over specific booking at the Booking Calendar Overview page. If yes, I will add this issue to the todo list for fixing in a future updates.
                      Kind regards.

  6. Hi all

i'm usiing the business medium pluggin. Everything works great bt i need a little help with an "issue" that i can't solve:
    https://www.r90.ch/sample-page/event-test/
I want to hide the date number into the "legend" section. Basically i need just the colored squares for the legend. Without numbers.

    Thanks in advice.

    • Hello.
      Please make this fix.
Open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/lib/wpdev-booking-class.php
      then find this code:

      $text_for_day_cell = ( (0)?' ':date('d') );

and replace it to this code:

      $text_for_day_cell = ( (1)?' ':date('d') );

  7. Hello,
My client contacted me because he experienced a bug with the addition of prices for more than one night when the next night is at a discount rate.
Here are the tests and pictures for you to understand clearly where the issue is :
    - The night of November 6 to 7 : 130,00 € (https://puu.sh/kAzGK/72dc3ea88f.png)
    - The night of November 7 to 8 : 130,00 € (https://puu.sh/kAzRX/393c0b7c5b.png)
    - The nights of November 6 to 8 : 247,00 € (https://puu.sh/kAzXM/b9653770bb.png)

When we take each night apart, the discount is on the night of November 8 to 9 (https://puu.sh/kAA7t/cf1ff742f5.png) but when multiples nights are selected and the client leave the day before the night at a reduced cost, the plugin take the reduced price of the next night instead of the right price.

    Kind regards,
    Thomas L

    • Hello.
You are set in your cost configuration at the General Booking Settings page cost "per 1 night".
In terms of Booking Calendar cost configuration its means that cost per 2nd day is = 0. Thats why you are having such cost configuration.

If you need, to set cost per last selected day = 0, then its possible to configure in the Booking Calendar Business Medium and higher version.
      - Please open the General Booking Settings page and in cost section, please set the cost "per 1 day".
      - then open the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page and click on "Valuation days" button near specific booking resource.
Please configure this cost setting. Important, this cost configuration row must be at the top of some other cost valuation rows. So if you already have any "Valuation days" cost settings, you need to delete them, then firstly add this specific line and after this configure any other "Valuation days" cost settings.
So here what you need to configure:
"For" "LAST" days = "0" "$ per 1 day" at "Any days"
where "LAST" its reserved word for identification last selected day in calendar.

In this case, system will calculate cost with last selected day cost = 0.
      Kind Regards.

      • Thank you for your answer, but the weird side of this issue, I forgot to write this earlier, is that it only happens on one room. The form works fine for the other ones and the discount is the same (every sundays).

        • Hello.
Probably in the other booking resources you are having some rates or valuation days configuration.
Please recheck this. Also please try to configure costs as in my suggestion, then its have to work, to set last day cost = 0.
          Kind Regards.

  8. I am using the Business Medium version 5.4.4 of the calendar and am having a couple problems. I think they are because of a conflict with my wordpress theme. I am using WordPress version 4.3.1 and Avada theme version 3.8.6.1

I currently have one calendar I will be using on this page: https://www.officeboise.com/reserve-conference-room

When a booking is made and approved it shows partially booked on the calendar but the tool tip hover thing will not show up on mouseover. I had this same calendar on another wordpress install with a different theme and it showed up fine.

The other issue is that I have double booking check turned on but it will still let me double book a time slot. It gives no error or anything on the front end but in the back end for bookings it puts the reservation into the next time slot. So if I try to double book 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM it books the second reservation into the 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM time slot.

Everything else seems to be working just fine though. Thank You

    • Hello.
      1) I think the issue with not showing mouse over tooltip in conflict with this script from your theme:
      <script type='text/javascript' src='https://www.officeboise.com/wp-content/themes/avada/Avada/assets/js/main.min.js?ver=3.8.6.1' async ></script>

Try to open the header.php or footer.php or functions.php file of your theme, where is loading of this script: https://www.officeboise.com/wp-content/themes/avada/Avada/assets/js/main.min.js,

Than try to write some restrictions to not load this script at the page(s), where you inserted the booking forms.
For example for this page: https://www.officeboise.com/reserve-conference-room/ its can look like this:

      $booking_pages = array( '/reserve-conference-room/' ); $request_uri = $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']; if ( strpos( $request_uri, 'booking_hash=') !== false ) { $request_uri = parse_url($request_uri); if ( ( ! empty($request_uri ) ) && ( isset($request_uri['path'] ) ) ){ $request_uri = $request_uri['path']; } else { $request_uri = $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']; } } if ( ! in_array( $request_uri, $booking_pages ) ) { // HERE HAVE TO BE YOUR CODE TO LOAD THAT JavaScript CODE // }

      2) I think here is misunderstanding. If you previously have made the booking for the 6:00 am - 6:30 am,
and during next booking try to book the 6:30 am - 7:00 am, then everything fine. System does not book the previous timeslot bu make the booking of the next timeslot.

Please note, during this next time, when you try to make the booking (if you will activate the "single day selection mode"), system will set all previously booked timeslots for selected date as unavailable ("grayed") in selectbox, so visitor can not select this timeslot again for the same date.

This option "Checking to prevent double booking, during submitting booking" from "Advanced section" of General Booking Settings page is useful only in case, if 2 different visitors try to book the same date/timeslot in the same calendar during the same time in different browsers.
System will allow to make the booking for visitor, who submit this booking firstly. But do not allow to make this booking for the visitor, who try to book the same timeslot in same date in same calendar, after that.

      Kind Regards.

  9. I would like to know if this plugin is compatible with ecommerce/woocommerce/marketpress plugin as i need to get finnish payment methods to my website from paytrail or checkoutfinland? ( they work in wordpress with those add-ons)

    • Hello.
Right now, booking calendar does not have the "connection" with woocommerce/ecommerce/marketpress plugins.

The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay and iPay88 payment gateways integrations, other payment systems are not supported yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

If you want to make the integrations of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how is integrated the Payment system (on the example) of the PayPal system at this file:../{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc/payments/paypal.php . You will be need to create your file with similar structure in that folder. Also you are need to include the calling of your file into this file: ../booking/inc/payments/index.php in the same way, as it was done for the other 3 payment systems.

Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.

      Kind Regards.
