  1. More than a week ago, I have requested a free update of wpbookingcalendar because my paid version is not older than six months. The automatic answer told me that in a few days I would get the update. I still haven't heared anything. Maybe something went wrong?

    I need to know if the plugin has the following characteristics that I need to implement in a project.

    1) I will use to reserve party room

    2) Each room can only be used once a day (there will be no time slots). The person reserves all day

    3) The most important thing I need is for the plugin to take care of these situations:

    3.1) Room A (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays): U $ 100.00
    3.2) Room A (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays): U $ 150,00
    3.3) Room B (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays): U $ 50,00
    3.4) Room B (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays): US $ 80.00
    3.5) Room A + Room B on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays = $ 130.00 (instead of $ 150.00)
    In this situation (3.5) the halls will be rented at the same time, both being unavailable. That is, if the person is to reserve only Room A or Room B only, it is unavailable. Example: Room A + Room B ($ 130.00) for September 27 unavailable
    3.6) Specific dates: I need to inform different rooms for specific days (for example, on December 23rd, Room A = U $ 150.00 or Room A + Room B = U $ 300.00).
    It's possible?

    I recently purchased the 'Booking Calendar Business Medium'.

    The project that I am currently working on requires seasonal rates, which I have managed to work out.

    The project also requires a secondary discount where the price of accommodation is reduced from the third day onward of a stay. I assume this can be down under the 'resources / advanced pricing' tab, however, the field that I need to apply the discount on, 'being the number of days the customer chooses from the calendar' is not an option in this tab, the only options are where I have used a drop-down, e.g. number of adults, which is not relevant in this discount.

    Any help would be much appreciated. Please let me know if I have not provided enough detail and I would be happy to re-explain.

      The discounted cost for "third day onward of a stay" you can configure at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page by clicking on "Valuation days" button.
      the configuration can be similar to this:

      From 3 to 99 days = 80 % for cost  of each  day

  4. Hello, We have your paid booking plugin. We were having a problem with email notifications being sent to the the admin. I notice that it appears your "To and From" email fields are reversed. Notifications get sent to the "From" email instead of the "To" email. I've got it set to accomodate this now, but will that bug be getting fixed and if so will be get a notification from you if we have to change settings? It's important we always receive notifications. Thank you! I have a screenshot of what I'm referring to if that would help.

      1) In the email template about the "New booking (sending to admin)" you can define "To" and "From" fields for emails. And its have to work fine about any emails that sending after creation of new booking.

      2) But all other email templates, lile "Approving/Decline booking, etc..." have only "From" field. They does not have "To" Field, because basically they are sending to the visitor email. Inside of such emails you can define the sending copy of these emails to the admin. The admin email for such emails defined as "From" field in these emails. Its intentionally defined so.

      Sometimes, customer need to receive email about the new booking at one email, and receive email about confiramtion, like approval to other email. That's why its working so.

    We are using the Version 9.Personal.SingleSite.8.0 paid version of your plugin.

    Is there a way to capture the booking data using a webhook that can be sent to Zapier? For now, we've created a function to create a new custom post type, copying the booking data, that can be used to trigger Zapier using their standard plugin.

    Do you have any documented hooks that can be used?

      Currently there is no some special API, but some useful functions is exist.

      1) You can try to use this hook for getting action after creation of new booking:

      * Hook action after creation  new booking

  6. Hello Again
    My hosting provide ( godaddy) just update the wordpress files and once again I lost all my Custom Forms and HTML emails settings. Please advise what needs to be done as this issue should not happen.

    I can give you access to my booking calendar or FTP hosting files.

      All custom forms is storing inside of the Database in wp_option table.
      If during update process, your hosting provider, make rollback of database from actual to some other backup, so then its possible such issue.
      Can you recheck with your serve provider about how they make update, does provider make any additional manipulation with database ?
      I can suggest that after creation of all custom booking form fields you will make backup of database.

    I have a question as our restaurant opens 7 days a week however on Sunday we close at 7:00 pm and the rest of the week close at 11:00 pm so my question is how can I set that only Sunday we close at 7:00

      If you need to define the different time-slots selection (or start time and duration of times) selection for specific week day, so then its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Please check more about this feature here:
      Also please check more about configuration of this feature at this page:

      In the Booking Calendar Business Small version the only way to block those times at such dates is by making "blank bookings" for those times at that specific week day. You can make fast bookings at the Booking > Add booking page in admin panel by using "Auto fill" button at the top right side of toolbar.

  8. Hello,

    - I've the Booking Calendar Business Small paid version and updated it to the 8.0 version. But now suddenly my objects or ID's only show in Descending way in the calendar, even if in Settings I change/save it to Ascending.

    We only have 2 appartments:
    Appartement 1
    Appartement 2
    And I would love to show it that way in the Calendar. Not like it is now:
    Appartement 2
    Appartement 1

    Is it a bug in the update that it doesn't save the sequence changes in Settings? Could you help me with this?

    - Also, because something went wrong with the ID 1 that I created, now Appartement 1 = ID 2 and Appartement 2 = ID 3.
    Is there a way to rename ID's? I threw away ID 1 but after that I could not recreate that ID, it automatically created ID 2 as the first possible ID.

    • Hello.
      Its does not possible to recreate the IDs of booking resources. Its automatic auto incremented field in database, which does not possible to edit.

      Please note, in the Booking Calendar Business Small version possible to save soring only for the bookings (and not the booking resources) at the Booking > Settings General page in Booking Listing page.
      The booking resources at the Booking > Resources page is sorting only by ID. You can resort this table at the Booking > Resources page, but this settings does not saved. In the Booking Calendar Business Large or higher version possible to set priority of sorting for each booking resources and its possible to save it.
      This functionality was also in previous updates, so here was not changed anything.

      Please note, if you was asked about sort of booking resources at the booking listing shortcode like in this example, so here you can set order of booking resources, when defined ID of booking resources in type parameter. Please read more about configuration of this shortcode here

      Additionally, you can make fix of setting different order of booking resources at the Booking > Resources page by making this customization (but please note any source code customization, you will need todo after each update of plugin, because all source files of plugin during update process is replacing).

      ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article )

      then find this code:

      You are having this JavaScript error at that page:

      15:36:25.967 TypeError: $.datepick.regionalOptions is undefined 1 en:289:1

      This error, probabaly because of conflict with some other calendar at your website.
      Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason of this issue.

        Thank you so much for your help with this. Your were right, it was the other calendar I had loaded on the page. I had set up 2 for the customer to view.

    I just installed the latest Small Business Version 9.Business.Small.SingleSite.8.0. When I'm looking at the Booking Listings in list view and try to change the view filters, none of the drop down menus for filters seem to work. I'm trying to change the "Dates:" dropdown menu to Today, but clicking on Today doesn't do anything. They do work in Firefox though. Is there a way to fix this in Internet Explorer?

      Please be sure that you have not activated this option “Disable Bootstrap loading on Back-End” at the Booking > Settings General page in advanced section. This option must be unchecked.

      Otherwise, probabaly its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.

      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.

      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
