Hi,
My hostel has two pricing models depending on whether they are an internal or external group. If they are internal the price is lower, if they are external the price is higher.
They would all be booking the same resource, and the price increases with the number of visitors selected.
Form Example:
SelectBox - "Internal" "External"
If "Internal" price pppn is 14
If "External" price pppn is 19
I have large business version.
Many thanks
Hello.
It’s possible with one selectbox, where will be intern and external visitors options.
If you need to set some additional cost for the booking, depending from selected options in the select-boxes or checkboxes in your booking form, so then it’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Hello.
It’s because you was set some weekends days as unavailable at the Booking > Settings General page in availability section. Please recheck that settings.
Kind Regards.
How can we set the plugin up to email the resource admin instead of 1 admin email address?
eg. Bob is admin of resource 99, he should be emailed, not the website admin.
Hello.
You can define the emails that is send after the booking process at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.
In case, if you need to have the different emails for the different booking resources so then you need to check the BookingCalendar MultiUser version.
In this version each activated regular user can have their own booking admin panel and can configure their own emails.
So here different emails relative to specific WP user, and each such user can have their own booking resources. Its means that different booking resources will have different emails.
In the Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page) https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/
Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Please note, that each owner WordPress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo. You can read more about the initial configuration of the BookingCalendar MultiUser version: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/
Thanks for this - I think it's worked almost how we need it.
Is there a way to reload the calendar based on a drop down selection? OR retrieve all resource IDs and show multiple events from multiple resources?
We have various devices for hire that are available from various locations. So we need the user to be able to view the device page, and see a booking form for 4 locations.
Hello.
It’s possible to show available and booked dates for the several booking resources only in Timeline view. Test it here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/timeline/
Is it possible to create our own form with PHP and send it to a calendar/resource ID? We have a lot of page dependent choices we want the user to make which doesn't seem possible within the default form creator in the plugin.
Hello.
Unfortunately it’s does not possible to create own form in PHP. Sorry.
Kind Regards.
I'm interested in using the booking calendar to my wordpress camping web site that allows 40 adults to book (independently of each other) with max 60 kids then states 'fully booked' as soon as a total of 40 adults have booked. Is this possible using Version 9.Business.Medium.SingleSite.8.7.2 of the booking calendar and if so can you send me a demonstration?
Or if not can you tell me which version would be possible?
If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
You can test it in the live demo here https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Watch video about this feature here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/availability-capacity-video-overview/
At this version possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But its possible to make booking only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only saved as data into database, but do not apply to availability logic).
Highly recommend, to check this article about configuration of capacity and availability for booking resources: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/
After switching a website's domain to a new one, the calendar stopped showing up. Everything else is working just fine, just no visible calendar.
Can someone help out?
Hello.
It seems that you are using the old version of Booking Calendar and you have updated to the latest update of WordPress.
Because of that you are having this issue. Please be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar 8.8.1
It has to resolve the issue of not showing the calendar at the latest update of WordPress.
In case if you are using the paid version of Booking Calendar, then you can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
Issue #1 - It appears as if the plugin is attempting to load two calendars when there is only one shortcode for the calendar. The first (left-hand) calendar loads properly. The second (right-hand) calendar never loads. Because of this, every time I try to test the form I get an error message asking me to select dates from the calendar.
Issue #2 - The Select Start Time dropdown displays all options without the dropdown. Sometimes on initial load, I can see the dropdown but then it disappears and all options are displayed at the same time.
I will be happy to provide your support team with access to the sandbox environment to investigate the problems, but I need to get these issues resolved. Just let me know what you need and I'll be glad to provide it.
Thanks for your prompt attention to this matter.

Hello.
1) It's seems that you have inserted into that page the 2 shortcodes:
[bookingcalendar type=1]
[booking type=1]
Please note the second shortcode for the booking form, already contain the calendar, it means that you need to have inside of that page only one shortcode:
[booking type=1]
Please remove that fist shortcode from your page.
2) Please open the Booking > Settings General page and in Time slots section deactivate this option "Time picker for time slots".
Kind Regards.
Thank you!
Hi,
I'm booking hourly sessions. I want to insert the date in the approval email but there doesn't seem to be a [date] shortcode or something similar. only [calendar]. Is there a way to do this? Thanks.
Hello.
In the email templates at the Booking > Settings > Emails page you need to use this shortcode: [dates] to show the booked dates and times.
Check help section at the specific Settings page to see all available shortcodes for the specific form or template.
Kind Regards.
As you mentioned that shortcode pulls the date and time and appears in the email in an awkward format... see below. Date: May 25, 2021 09:00 - May 25, 2021 09:40
I was wanting something to show only the day of the appointment as the [timerange] short code produces the times nicely.
Is there a way to get just the appointment day?
Thanks, Ken
Got it... sorry to bug you.
[check_in_only_date]
I need to assign minimum reservation days for seasons, example: 7 minimum days in Easter, 16 minimum days in the first half of September, etc. it's possible? because I have the premium plugins and the date range selection is only for days (1-31) 🙁
You can upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your existing version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of the General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.
Kind Regards.
Thank you very much, if I have the business medium package, something like that then as shown in your documentation: Season filters conditions.
[booking type = 1 form_type = 'standard' nummonths = 2
options = '{select-day condition = "season" for = "High season" value = "7-14,20"},
{select-day condition = "season" for = "Low season" value = "2-5"} ']. With this I would solve my requirement. Thank you
Hello.
Yes, it's correct.
Kind Regards.
There it works perfect, one last question. Could a message be displayed on the calendar when you want to select less than the minimum? this message could appear below the calendar or as an alert. if not possible there is no problem. Tks
Hello.
Unfortunately it’s not possible in the actual versions. Sorry.
We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin, but I can not say when exactly it’s will be implemented. Thank you for understanding.
Kind Regards.
Another question, is it possible to add the reservation data (cost, id,dates) to the personalized thank you page, with a shortcode for example or another way?
