  1. Hi again. In the "Search availability form" I can´t translate the [search_button] in my lenguage that is spanish. I already tried to change by poedit but this word didn´t appear.

    Let me know.

    Regards.

    • Hello.

You can make the translation of the [search_button] ( "Search" ) word at the translation file, from this folder ../booking/languages/

      Please recheck it more carefully.

Check more about how to update translations here
      https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/make-translation-of-wp-plugin/

You can download the original translations files from here.

Please note, after you have made the update of translation, you need to upload MO file to the ../booking/languages/ folder.

Also please be sure that at your search page at front-end side was set correctly locale as "es_ES".
      Kind Regards.

      • Thanks. The problem was because I have the thransaltion in es_CL so I created a new file in CL Now works perfect.

        Thanks!

  2. If i have bookings for a certain day, and now want to make this date unavailable as its fully booked - will this affect the existing bookings?

  3. I'm sorry if this shows twice - i cant' find the first one. If a date is available in a season, but its now fully booked, is it ok to remove the date from the season without it affecting existing bookings?

  4. We have been experiencing an influx of fake bookings. In my own investigation I noticed that the current captcha system is susceptible to optical character recognition (OCR). Due to this it is possible to automate the booking process without human interaction successfully with fake reservation details (an automated attack).

    Enhancing Site Security:
Is there a way to add the visitors IP Address information to the booking contact information?
Is there a way to add blacklisted data for form fields, like emails?

We will be adding a third party captcha to the process.

    • Hello.
Currently such other ways of integration spam protections in the booking form is not available. We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin, but I can not say, when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.

You can try to add the Google Captcha to the entire page with booking form. Or you can use some other security plugin, for restrict access to your website, of specific IP
      Kind Regards.

    • Hello.
Unfortunately, there are no such log of sending emails in the plugin. Sorry.
      Kind Regards.

  6. Is it possible to send automatically the booking list to an excel file (on drive or else ?) or anything that an employee can check without having to access the admin panel of the website ? If so, what version/paid version do we need ?

Thank you, have a good day

    • Hello.
Automatically create such list, without accessing admin panel, its does not possible todo.
In the paid versions of Booking Calendar possible to export exist bookings to the CSV file, which possible to open in the MS Excel.
You can do this at the Booking Listing page in Action toolbar by clicking on Export button.
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-listing-video-tutorial/
      Kind Regards.

  7. Been looking into the help and the support.

I am an user of the Business Large Edition, I need a search form with a couple custom fields.

I've been following the instructions in https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/selecting-tags-in-search-form/ thoroughly, but there's a part that is unclear, and the form isn't working.

Whenever I enable a custom field in the search form, I get no results. If I remove them, there are results, but with custom fields, not a single one.

I've followed all the instructions, the variables are all named booking_property, I add the custom fields, everything is set up properly. The form without search form works correctly, but I cannot get the search to work at all.

    • Hello.
Please configure the custom booking form fields for the specific posts or pages, and after this open the Booking > Settings > Search page and click on "Clear search cache" button. After this try to make tests again.
Otherwise please send screenshots of your configurations, and send the link to your page with search form, where you are having the issue. Please send all this info to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
      Thank you.

  8. Hi again.

    • Hello.
Its most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl {+} Shift {+} J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.
You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.

      Kind Regards.
