Hi again,
You can ignore my message from a couple of hours ago about Advanced Costs - I found one of your help pages and figured out how to apply the my_cleaning checkbox and then it appeared in the Advanced costs.
It's now working for me correctly,
Thank you
Hi,
We have two houses with a booking calendar each. Is it possible to also have a combined calendar where someone can book out both houses and this updates on the individual calendars too?
Is it also possible to use the Availability calendar (without booking form) shortcode to display both house calendars within one calendar?
I will explain it in an example of booking separate rooms and the entire house.
Please note, all such separate properties will have separate booking forms with calendars at the front-end side of your website.
It means that you can book an entire house, or specific room in a separate booking form.
So in case if you want to show as unavailable some dates or times in all calendars (booking resources), if some booking was made in only one calendar (booking resource), then it’s possible to configure it with "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode ( it's possible in all paid versions of Booking Calendar). This parameter makes the dates in the calendar unavailable if these dates were booked in some other booking resources.
Please check more about "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
Example of configuration:
Booking resources at the Booking > Resources page:
- House ( ID = 3 )
- Room #1 ( ID = 4 )
- Room #2 ( ID = 5 )
And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes into the pages like this
If some rooms will be booked for a specific date(s) or time, these dates/time will be unavailable in House calendar.
And if House will be booked for a specific date(s), then in all Rooms (booking forms), these dates also will be unavailable.
Hello. How can I set part of the time-slot to not available (for specific day) in the Booking Calendar?
Hello.
1) You can make the blank booking for such date(s) and times at the Booking > Add booking page, to set such date(s)/ times as unavailable.
In the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions you can use “Auto fill” button at the top toolbar in the Booking > Add booking page to make the fast blank booking in 3 mouse clicks.
2) in case if you need to have the different time slots for the different dates as rules in the Booking Calendar, then it’s possible to have the different times selection for the different days in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#times-week-days
Is it possible to have different approval emails for different resources?
Also, how do I check that the new update is compatible with my version of WordPress & Divi?
Thanks
Hello.
1) Curently we did not test plugin with divi theme.
The main requirement from the Booking Calendar that theme do not generate the JavaScript errors.
2) In case, if you need to have the different emails for the different booking resources so then you need to check the BookingCalendar MultiUser version.
In this version each activated regular user can have their own booking admin panel and can configure their own emails.
So here different emails relative to specific WP user, and each such user can have their own booking resources. Its means that different booking resources will have different emails.
In the Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page) https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/
Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Please note, that each owner WordPress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo. You can read more about the initial configuration of the BookingCalendar MultiUser version: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/
Is it possible to calculate an additional cost for price per mile for delivery. I need to add an additional cost depending on miles traveled for delivery of rental rv
Hello.
Booking Calendar can not automatically calculate the distance from year location to your adress. Sorry.
Hi. I'm using Booking Calendar Business Medium, but I have a doubt and I don't know if this version can do what I need or I need to do an update.
The question is: In my website, I have different booking forms for a coworking, for example, in one form I rent a meeting room by hours... and with another form I rent offices by months.
But I thought that with the version I have it could be done, but I am seeing that if in "Type of days selection in calendar" I select "Range days", it affects all the reservation calendars that I have created.
Is there something I am doing wrong or should I upgrade to the multiuser version where I see "Independent configuration of Form Fields"?
Hello, Thank you very much for your initial response. Unfortunately, as much as I try to follow the instructions given by you in your answer, I can't get a new booking form to be different from the initial configuration or the one I put by default in "Type of days selection in calendar" which is "Multiple days".
And I simply need that in a new reservation form that I am going to create, 30 days are marked automatically from the day I select.
I hope you can tell me the answer here, because, for example, in the second link you send me giving an explanation or example, there is a "BOTH" button after the "RESEAT" button in "Fields Settings" and in my version that Both button does not appear...
Greetings and I look forward to your answer
Hello.
>> " I simply need that in a new reservation form that I am going to create, 30 days are marked automatically from the day I select"
You just need to activate the "range dates selection using one mouse click" and define the number of dates to select as 30 dates.
You can check this settings at the Booking > Settings General page in "Calendar" section.
Such selection possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions.
Important. Such selection possible only in case, if all those dates are available for the selection.
If you still will have issue, please send screenshots of your configuration and send the exact link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
Please send all this info to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
ok. Thanks for your prompt reply, but I think I didn't explain myself well, or you didn't take into account my previous query to give me this answer.
First of all, I'm using Version 10.Business.Medium.SingleSite.9.7.5
Based on this, I prefer to remind you what my requirement is.
I have to make a website for my client where there will be 2 types of booking calendars, one of them where you will select to book a certain day and time, and the other one where you will simply book 30 days of the space or office, taking these days from any day selected in the calendar.
In my first question of the day I indicate that I have been able to configure the calendar where I select the day and time, but not the second one where 30 days are selected after selecting a specific day, to which I was already given an answer and that is why I sent you the previous message, since I can complete the indications given in that video or in the link.
But if I do as you indicate in your answer: "date range selection using a mouse click" and define the number of dates to select as 30 dates.
You can check this setting on the Booking > General Settings page in the "Calendar" section....
Yes, the 30 days does work, but I lose the day and date selection in the other booking calendar that I have to select a particular day and time.
So, having clarified this point, the above indications did not work for me because even the reference video is 5 years old and does not match what I see in my version of the plugin? can you give me a clearer answer please.
Regards
Hello.
Because you are using the old version of Booking Calendar, and because you need to use the single day selection at one page for one booking resource, and to use the fixed number of dates to select (30 days) at other page, then you need to make this confguration. Find more information at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/advanced-javascript-for-the-booking-shortcodes/
Let say that the ID of booking resource, where you need to have the single day selection is 3, then inside of the page, where you want to have this booking form, plese use this code:
<script type="text/javascript">
bk_days_selection_mode = 'single';
</script>
[booking type=3 form_type='standard' nummonths=1]
2) And if you have the booking resource with ID = 5, where you want to make the bookings for the full dates, and have the custom booking form (from the Booking > Settings > Booking Form page) where you do not have the time slots, for example let say name of this custom booking form is "full-days", then at use this code at new page (it must be a new page!):
<script type="text/javascript">
bk_days_selection_mode = 'fixed';
bk_1click_mode_days_num = 30; // Number of days selection with 1 mouse click
bk_1click_mode_days_start = [-1]; // { -1 - Any | 0 - Su, 1 - Mo, 2 - Tu, 3 - We, 4 - Th, 5 - Fr, 6 - Sat }
</script>
[booking type=5 form_type='full-days' nummonths=1]
Kind Regards.
Thank you very much. You were right and I didn't notice that I had the previous version. And I practically just bought it. Which indicates that they are always making constant updates and improvements. Thank you very much.
I managed to create the 2 types of booking form I needed. one to select day and time and the one that helped me with this shortcode to make 30 days reservations, since I'm still using Version 10.Business.Medium.SingleSite.9.7.5:
bk_days_selection_mode = 'fixed';
bk_1click_mode_days_num = 30; // Number of days selection with 1 mouse click
bk_1click_mode_days_start = [-1]; // { -1 - Any | 0 - Su, 1 - Mo, 2 - Tu, 3 - We, 4 - Th, 5 - Fr, 6 - Sat }
But now I have a new doubt or inconvenience. Where or how do I configure so that a client to select those 30 days, that selection has a cost of $300 for the 30 days.... as I still keep the configuration of the count per day of the form or initial configuration, which is $25 per day, which makes the final reservation of the 30 days has a cost of $750....
And another question, how do I assign available spaces for each form, for example, there are 2 premium offices available and there are 5 standard offices available... logically I have a reservation form for the standard one and another for the premium one...
I saw one of your videos that talks about it, but logically the screens do not look alike and this video is 5 years old.
Greetings and I look forward to your response with the solution to my doubts as you have done the previous times ... thank you very much.
Because I keep looking and in my resources section, even activating the updated version of the pluging, the "Parent", "Priority", "info" and "user" options do not appear in Resources to follow the steps you have in your explanations.
Hello.
The parent booking resources with specific capacity available in the Booking Calendar Business Large version.
In new update 9.8 or newer, exist possibility to define the parent booking resource with specific capacity at the Booking > Resources page.
Test it here https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Kind Regards.
Sorry. But I don't understand this. I have the Business Medium SingleSite version. But what I understand from your answer is that I have to upgrade to Booking Calendar Business Large version to be able to assign capacity in the booking forms?
Because in the link https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/ it explains what it does but not how to do it? or at least how to do it in the Business Medium SingleSite version.
Could you help me in a clearer way to understand how to assign capacity in the Business Medium SingleSite version forms?
Thank you and I look forward to your answer
Hello.
The capacity feature available only in the Booking Calendar Business Large or higher version.
I was explained about this in the previous my messages.
In case if you want to make the upgrade. You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the “Upgrade” menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.
Kind Regards.
2) If you need to make a specific number of bookings per day, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where it is possible to make several reservations per specific full date(s) or times during selected date(s). Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
In this version it is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in the calendar will be available until the number of reservations is less than capacity of the booking resource.
But as I have several types of office and meeting rooms to rent, I need that some are by days... others by hours and finally, others that are in a range indicated of 30 days, although in the code I put 7 as I simply copied and pasted so you can see that it does not work and it is not because I have modified something in it.
I hope you can help me to clarify this doubt.
And the second question I have, is with the booking calendar synchronization with google calendar.
Is there a way to automatically the reservations that arrive to the Booking Listing appear automatically in my assigned google calendar, configured?
I have only achieved this manually by clicking on the "Add to Google Calendar" button but I would like to know if there is a way that this synchronization exports the bookings from the web to the google calendar.
Again thank you very much and I look forward to your response to finish configuring these features on the web.
Hello.
1) You need to use these lines in that code: jQuery(document).ready( function(){ ... });
2) Relative export to Google Calendar . By default it's doesn't possible. As far as I know Google can retrieve (import) external .ics feed only few times per day.
Export.
Booking Calendar is generated .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some services (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into their own system, does not depend on the Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force the import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed for making imports.
Please check about the configuration of export .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/export-ics-feeds/
I'm running the free version and although emails are being sent correctly, the edited template of the New-Visitor email is not being sent, only the default text that is found in that file.
The New-Visitor email template is only sending the default content that is found on line 309 in page-email-new-visitor.php.
I've done a complete search on the codebase for the plugin and there's only one instance of the text " is processing now!" I've tried to edit that text directly in the file but the default continues to be sent.
All other email templates are sending correctly (ie sending the edited version, not the default found in the code).
I've cleared the cache on the site yet still this persists. Our hope was to buy the Sm Bus version so we could do payment processing but this bug is kinda killing it for me.
Please advise, thanks!
Hello.
1) Relative "New-Visitor" email. Please update your version to the latest update 9.8.3
2) Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/changelog/
Kind Regards.
Hi. Since updating to the latest ver of the plugin 9.8.3 I have found the new booking confirmation feature (which is nice!) now displays my original text message including HTML markers - This is what the user now sees when they make an enquiry:
"Thank you for your enquiry. This is not a confirmed booking. We will respond to your enquiry as soon as possible (typically the same day). A copy of your enquiry will be emailed to you.You can view our privacy policy here: PrivacyPolicy"
I could use the redirect to a thank you page but would rather not if possible.
I have also upgraded to the latest version of WP.
I have cleared the cache and used a 'private' window and the problem remains. I have tried on Safari and Chrome browsers.
Many thanks
Hello.
Unfortunately, the HTML tags in the "Confirmation message" is not allowed anymore. Because of the Security reasons.
Such HTML tags will be escaped. So you can not use links or strong tags, etc...
But you can configure any type of the HTML content at the "Thank you." page, if you will make redirection to this page, instead of showing "Confirmation window" at the same page. You can configure it at the Booking > Settings General page in "Confirmation" section
Kind Regards.
Or in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions you can configure additional "Confirmation booking" text (using HTML) at the Booking > Settings > Payment page in "Payment description" section.
Test it here https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Kind Regards.
Ok, understood. Thank you for you very speedy response.
Hi team,
It seems that since the update 8.x there is an issue with additional costs.
In the booking form, the additional costs are shown correctly and included in the final price.
However, once the booking is "saved", it comes to the admin panel without the additional costs.
In addition, I get a note attached to the booking saying "[yyyy-mm-dd HH:mm] Automatically calculated cost xxx" and this is the cost WITHOUT the additional costs.
Additional costs were working fine so far, so there must be an issue with the latest updates.
Hello.
Please send configuration of your booking form and "Content of booking fields data" form from the Booking > Settings > Booking Form page.
Please send this to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
And send screenshots of your issue. Also send the exact link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
Thank you.
I have two calendars with very different setups (one for 2023/4, one for 2025 onwards), can I set an end date on the first calendar so 2025 is not visible?
Hi again,
You can ignore my message from a couple of hours ago about Advanced Costs - I found one of your help pages and figured out how to apply the my_cleaning checkbox and then it appeared in the Advanced costs.
It's now working for me correctly,

Hi,
We have two houses with a booking calendar each. Is it possible to also have a combined calendar where someone can book out both houses and this updates on the individual calendars too?
Is it also possible to use the Availability calendar (without booking form) shortcode to display both house calendars within one calendar?
Thanks
Hello.
Yes it’s possible.
1) It’s possible to make such a configuration with aggregate parameter.
Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes into the pages like this
- House
[booking type=3 aggregate='4;5' ]
- Room #1 ( ID = 4 )
[booking type=4 aggregate='3' ]
- Room #2 ( ID = 5 )
[booking type=5 aggregate='3' ]
....
If some rooms will be booked for a specific date(s) or time, these dates/time will be unavailable in House calendar.
And if House will be booked for a specific date(s), then in all Rooms (booking forms), these dates also will be unavailable.
2) Relative showing only availability calendar without the booking form. You need to use the shortcode in your page for the availability calendar only. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-availability-calendar/
Kind Regards.
If you need to set different available dates for the different seasons, then it's possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#availability
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-season-availability/
2) in case if you need to have the different time slots for the different dates as rules in the Booking Calendar, then it’s possible to have the different times selection for the different days in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Please check more here
https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#times-week-days

Hello,
Is it possible to have different approval emails for different resources?
Selections of booking resources can look like here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/select-resource/
Here is more info about this version.
Is it possible to calculate an additional cost for price per mile for delivery. I need to add an additional cost depending on miles traveled for delivery of rental rv
Hello.
Booking Calendar can not automatically calculate the distance from year location to your adress. Sorry.
But in case if you will use the selectboxes with simple options like 1km, 2km,… distances then you will be able to define addional cost at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page.
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/advanced-costs-video-overview/

Hello.
1) You can define the different dates selection for the different calendars, by using this customization: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/advanced-javascript-for-the-booking-shortcodes/
2) In case if you want to configure the different form fields (for example in one form will be time slot field, and other form will not have it) for the different calendars, then it's also possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
In case if you want to make the upgrade. You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the “Upgrade” menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.
Kind Regards.
Hello.
1) You can configure it via "Valuation days" feature at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page.
Example:
Together 30 days = 300 USD for all dates
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#valuation-days
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/valuation-days-cost-video-overview/
2) If you need to make a specific number of bookings per day, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where it is possible to make several reservations per specific full date(s) or times during selected date(s). Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
You can test it in the live demo here https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Watch video about this feature here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/availability-capacity-video-overview/
In this version it is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in the calendar will be available until the number of reservations is less than capacity of the booking resource.
Check this article about configuration of capacity and availability for booking resources: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/
Perfect. Thank you very much... this doubt has been clarified.
Good morning. I have just upgraded from Version 10.Business.Medium.SingleSite.9.8.5 to Version 10.Business.Large.SingleSite.9.8.7.
But I have 2 doubts or inconvenietes that I hope you can help me to solve:
The first problem is that at the time of Configuring Different Types of Day Selection for Different Calendars with the JavaScript that they indicated to me in this address https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/advanced-javascript-for-the-booking-shortcodes/
The selection I make does not work.
Look at this code that I put, it is the one indicated by you:
[booking type=46 form_type='sin-horarios' nummonths=2 options='{calendar months_num_in_row=2 width=100% cell_height=45px}']
var wpbc_resource_id = 46;
_wpbc.calendar__set_parameters( wpbc_resource_id, {'days_select_mode': 'fixed'} );
_wpbc.calendar__set_parameters( wpbc_resource_id, {'fixed__days_num' : 7 } ); // Número de días de selección con 1 click de ratón
_wpbc.calendar__set_parameters( wpbc_resource_id, {'fixed__week_days__start': [-1] } ); // { -1 - Any | 0 - Su, 1 - Mo, 2 - Tu, 3 - We, 4 - Th, 5 - Fr, 6 - Sat }
_wpbc.calendar__set_param_value( wpbc_resource_id, 'saved_variable___days_select_initial'
, {
'dynamic__days_min' : _wpbc.calendar__get_param_value( wpbc_resource_id, 'dynamic__days_min' ),
'dynamic__days_max' : _wpbc.calendar__get_param_value( wpbc_resource_id, 'dynamic__days_max' ),
'dynamic__days_specific' : _wpbc.calendar__get_param_value( wpbc_resource_id, 'dynamic__days_specific' ),
'dynamic__week_days__start' : _wpbc.calendar__get_param_value( wpbc_resource_id, 'dynamic__week_days__start' ),
'fixed__days_num' : _wpbc.calendar__get_param_value( wpbc_resource_id, 'fixed__days_num' ),
'fixed__week_days__start' : _wpbc.calendar__get_param_value( wpbc_resource_id, 'fixed__week_days__start' )
}
);
You can see that it does not select the 7 days indicated, and continues selecting by default the singel day in this example that I made.
https://brainbox.work/3-2/
But as I have several types of office and meeting rooms to rent, I need that some are by days... others by hours and finally, others that are in a range indicated of 30 days, although in the code I put 7 as I simply copied and pasted so you can see that it does not work and it is not because I have modified something in it.
Hello.
1) You need to use these lines in that code:
jQuery(document).ready( function(){ ... });
I have updated it here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/advanced-javascript-for-the-booking-shortcodes/
Thank you.
Hello.
Fixed in Update 9.8.4
Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/changelog/
Kind Regards.
I have two calendars with very different setups (one for 2023/4, one for 2025 onwards), can I set an end date on the first calendar so 2025 is not visible?
Hello.
You can define the dates in the first calendar as unavailable for that period.
It's possible to set as unavailable specific days during specific seasons or weekdays in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#availability
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-season-availability/
Test it here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Perfect - thanks very much
