Hi, For some reason my booking calender on my website does not display the day of the week above the dates column but it does do it inside wordpress "add booking" page. Not sure why the difference, can you assist?
WordPress 5.9.3
PHP 7.2.34
bookings Version: 9.2.2
Hello.
Probably it's because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason for this issue.
Hello,
When I click on the trash button from the Booking Listing, the confirmation dialog is translated in my language (french).
But when I click on the trash button from the Calendar Overview, it is not translated (it displays "Do you really want to do this ?").
It seems to me that the two messages are identical, and both should be translated in the same way.
Hello.
I will check this.
Probably there some little difference in these messages.
Kind Regards.
Hi I am using the paid version business medium on me site.
I dont know if this is possible, but I have different payment methods set up, Paypal and Stripe both working fine. I am just wondering is it possible to allocate just one to a set number of calendars and one for the other.
As an example, I have cottages which i want people to pay through paypal and also have a campsite which i want to go through stripe, mainly for accounting purposes it would be easier.
I cant figure out if this is possible or if both payment buttons need to show up for all my resources.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Edd
Hello.
Unfortunately it’s does not possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium version.
In case, if you need to have the different payment systems for the different booking resources so then you need to check the BookingCalendar MultiUser version.
In this version each activated regular user can have their own booking admin panel and can configure their own payments.
So here different payment system relative to specific WP user, and each such user can have their own booking resources. Its means that different booking resources will have different payment system .
Here is more info about this version.
In the Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page) https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/
Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Please note, that each owner WordPress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo. You can read more about the initial configuration of the BookingCalendar MultiUser version: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/
You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the “Upgrade” menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.
Kind Regards.
Hi,
Thanks for the information, I have one question before upgrading.
Currently when i update the version I have I keep all my booking data when I update it, in upgrading to the multiuser would I still keep the data or would I loose it altogether?
I am hoping that when i upgrade the data would still be there but all on one user, then I would create a second user and duplicate the information for them?
But when you will activate other new regular user, then such user will have new initial settings and you will be need to configure booking form, emails and payments again.
But I recommend checking the Booking Calendar Business Small version, as well.
The ability to book for the specific times possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). In lower versions of Booking Calendar (including the free version), it is possible to make bookings for specific times only for specific restricted time-slots.
Please note if you will make the booking for the specific time slot, this time slot becomes unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in the current specific calendar.
You can configure the time slots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
You can use one "timerange" (time slots) or "start time" and "end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Other live demos you will need to reconfigure.
Is it also possible to add the availability of the different slots inside a season filter?
Hello.
It’s possible to have the different times selection for the different days in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#times-week-days
Hi,
We would like to choose a minimum of day with different season.
For exemple, we have the high season, the minimum day travel are 7 days.
For the less season, our client can stay 2 day or more, we have 2 price, 1 price for 2 day (weekend) and 1 price for 7 day (week)
Can we configure this ?
Best regards
Hello.
1) It’s possible to set the different duration of days selection depending from week days or seasons during a year in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#advanced-days-selection
2) It’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#valuation-days
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/valuation-days-cost-video-overview/
"Valuation days" can apply for any days. Or in case if you need apply it to specific season, then it can depend only from the belonging "check in day" to specific season. Its means that, if you select 2 weeks, the "Valuation days" can apply costs only depending from the check in day belonging to specific season, even if some other days belonging to other season. In other words, if you will have the days selection with season intersections, then you can have an issue with "Valuation days". Basically "Valuation days" is useful, in case, if you need to set some discount or higher cost depend from the number of selected days. Hello
I have a problem.
My pricelist is:
rent 1 canoe for 1 day is 350 DKK. 1 canoe for 2 days is with discount, so it is 300 per day. Not 350 for the first day and 300 for the second day. But total 600 for 2 days.
How can i make that in my settings? Right now it is setup like this: from day 2 to 14 = 300 DKK per 1 day. But how do I include the discount for day 1?
Hello.
You need to configure "Valuation days" at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page like this:
Together 2 days = 600 DKK for all days
From 3 to 14 day = 300 DKK per 1 day
You can activate the option "Show debug cost info" at the Booking > Settings > Payment page to show your cost calculation (at front-end side after days selection) for better understanding how costs are working.
Hi,
I recently upgraded to the multi user booking calendar and have a question I cant find in the faq's or videos.
So I use this as a nightly rental calendar for my cottages and camping. Previously I had business medium and on all of the emails that got sent out it defaulted to [check in date] with an arrival time of 16:00 and [departure date] by 10:00 on day of departure. That is correct for my cottages and i just lived with it before, but the arrival time and departure time for the camping is different. I am wondering is it possible to change that on those emails to the customers, even if I could remove the time it would help.
The settings for the additional users is a little limited, great for additional payment methods which is why I wanted it but the main settings with the check in time and check out time is only available to the super admin it seems so just curious if this was a possibility?
Thanks for any assistance as always.
Kind regards,
Edd
Hello.
1) You can remove such times shortcodes from the emails in your activated "Regular" users. Each regular user can have own independent configuration of the emails, so there you can remove such shortcodes.
2) The Booking > Settings General page is the same for all users. Such settings can change only super booking admin user.
In the Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Hi, in your demo site for the multiuser version, all the booking forms/calendars are on the same page. Is it possible to assign an independent calendar to a separate post? I cannot find this information in the FAQ.
Our goal is for each user to have a dedicated post with his/her independent booking calendar embedded.

I watched the video provided, got one question that how do I know which booking calendar is inserted when I did not see attributes like id or similar in the shortcode?
Is it possible to copy the shortcode for a specific calendar and paste in the shortcode input area of Oxygen Builder/Elementor to insert to the post? 🙂
Hello.
You can define the ID of booking resource (calendar) in the "type" parameter of the Booking Calendar shortcode.
Thank you, is it correct that the "type" parameter can be set by the super admin and owner (user) of the calendar?
Hello.
Type parameter in the shortcode can be changed by any user.
Kind Regards.
Hi,
Then how can I make sure for example, upon becoming a user (John Doe for example), a post dedicated to John will be created and a booking calendar dedicated to John will be added to the specific post, is there a way to make sure the correct calendar is added to the correct post?
Hello.
If John, will use the visual popup window for inserting the Booking Calendar shortcode (check here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/ ), then he will see only the own booking resources in the list, and do not see the booking resources of other users.
But of course if the John, will edit the shortcode manually, he can enter any digit in the shortcode, even ID of not exist booking resource.
But he can see only won exist ID of booking resources at the Booking > Resources page, if he want to edit the shortcode manually, not through the block editor or popup window inserting with classic post editor.
Kind Regards.
Got a few more questions here:
1. I understand there is a filter function for the multiuser version, can the filter be configured to filter result based on not just resources but tags?
Sorry, no.
Hi,
I have encountered a slight error when sending payment requested to customers. (using stripe as the payment method).
for one of my resources it cost £17.50 for 1 night, when i send the payment request the customer clicks the link in the email which takes them to our page where is shows the booking details and cost of £17.50, then when you click on pay via stripe and it diverts to them it shows the cost as £17 not the £17.50.
Is there something in the settings which is preventing the pence from being sent to them possibly?
It is the same if they book and hit pay now without me sending the payment request is why i ask but all the of the cost and rates show the correct amount so im just a little confused.
Thanks for the assitance.
Kind regards,
Edd
Hello.
Can you send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue. And send screenshot of configuration at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
Please send all this to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Hi
we have been using your plugin since 2017
bought version, currently it is Version 9.Business.Small.SingleSite.8.8
But we cannot get the Export link to work with AirBnB or Vrbo
i have tried the normal export link and many variations.
Can you help?
Import.
Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically accessing this page with booking import shortcode to start the import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly the system will start the import process and only then show the booking form, when someone visits your page.
You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/
Export.
Please check about the configuration of export .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/export-ics-feeds/Booking Calendar is generated .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some services (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into their own system, does not depend on the Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force the import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed for making imports.
2) Please be sure to use latest update of Booking Calendar 9.2.3 and Booking Manager plugins.

Hello.

You can check more info about this configuration at this page

Hi,
The question was more about the availability of a timeslot. For example:
I have a Room that is bookable with 2 timeslots: 08-12 and 13-20
Now we know that the Room is not available on the 24.11. from 08-12, so it shouldn't be available to book.
In the season filter, I can only block a whole day. But I would like to block only the slot 08-12.
Is that possible?
Hello.
My previous comment was about the ability to redefine the different time slots configuration for the different days in different seasons, please recheck it: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/different-time-slots-selections-for-different-days/
