  1. I have the business large with max visitors and capacities set and calculating correctly during a search.  Additionally, I've set adult and children pricing in the advanced costing which is also calculating correctly.  However, when I place a booking (approved or pending) the system does not properly consume the resources based on the max visitor settings for each resource.  My fields form does not include "visitors" only "adults" and "children".  Do I need to include "visitors" as a field form total to properly consume (book) the appropriate number of available resources?
    Example: 2 adults / 3 children with a maximum of 4 visitors per room.  This should consume 2 rooms due to the overflow...correct?

      Yes, that's correct. You are need to use the visitors field for the total number of visitors.

  2. Hi there,
     
    after updating from business medium version 4.0.2 to 4.1.1 there is a slight problem with the list of resources in the admin panel. Since I have more than 10 resources, they are spread over 2 pages. But when I try to use the link at the bottom of the page (prev / 1 / 2 / next), it doesn't work. The links take me to "Booking calendar - Overview page" instead of to the next page of resources.

      Can you clear the browser cache and then make test again ?
      If the issue is still exist, what exactly the link in the URL before clicking on the pagination link ?
      And what exactly link after you are clicked at the page link and the booking calendar overview page is opened ?

      Also what is the default page you are save at the General Booking Settings page ?

      • Clearing the cache hasn't solved the problem.
        URL before clicking on the pagination link:/wp-admin/admin.php?page=booking.bm.4.1.1/wpdev-booking.phpwpdev-booking-resources
        URL after you clicking on the pagination link: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=booking.bm.4.1.1/wpdev-booking.phpwpdev-booking&page_num=2
        General Booking Settings page: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=booking.bm.4.1.1/wpdev-booking.phpwpdev-booking-option

          please open the General Booking Settings page and then set the "Default booking admin page" to the "Booking Listing" value and update the settings. (please click at the "save settings" button even, if that selectbox is have this option "Booking Listing" selected).
          Then test it again.

          • I've followed your instruction, but when clicking on the pagination link, I end up on the bookings listing page.

              Please try to make this fix.

              Please open the ../booking/lib/wpdev-bk-lib.php file,

              find this code:
              $url_start = 'admin.php?page=' . WPDEV_BK_PLUGIN_DIRNAME . '/'. WPDEV_BK_PLUGIN_FILENAME . 'wpdev-booking&' ;
              and replace it ot this code:
              $my_page = WPDEV_BK_PLUGIN_DIRNAME . '/'. WPDEV_BK_PLUGIN_FILENAME . 'wpdev-booking'; if ( isset($_GET['page']) ) $my_page = $_GET['page'] ; $url_start = 'admin.php?page=' . $my_page . '&' ;

              then test it.

              Please inform if its fix this issue or not.
              Also, Please try to open the Booking Listing / Booking Calendar overview page to check is everything Ok there, because its relative.

        • You are right it's the incorrect page. If I manually add "-resources" to the URL, I can access the correct page.
          So it shouldn't be:
          /wp-admin/admin.php?page=booking.bm.4.1.1/wpdev-booking.phpwpdev-booking&page_num=2
           
          but
          /wp-admin/admin.php?page=booking.bm.4.1.1/wpdev-booking.phpwpdev-booking-resouces&page_num=2

Hola, he instalado este plugin en mi wordpress v3.5.1 y no consigo que mande los e-mails de confirmación de reservas en español, creo que tengo el archivo bien traducido ya que todo lo demas si me lo pone en español (ajustes, configuracion, administracion del plugin) pero no lo consigo con los e-mails, alguien me puede ayudar?

      Thank you for interest to the Booking Calendar.

      You can change the all available text inside of the translation files, which is located at the ../booking/languages/ folder.
      You can check this instruction how to make these translation: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/make-translation-of-wp-plugin/

      Please note, at the free version, the system is save some text (like subjects of emails) during activation of the plugin.
      So after you are made the translation you will be need to make the FULL reinstall of the plugin, its mean that the exist bookings and settings will be erased.
      For doing that, please open make these steps:
      – open firstly the General Booking Settings menu page, and at the right side of the page recheck that this option “Delete booking data during uninstall” is turned On (checked), its will be mean that all your booking data during deactivation will be deleted;
      - open the WordPress Plugins menu page and click on “Deactivate” link of Booking Calendar. Wait for the message “Plugin is deactivated successfully”. It’s important.
      - open the WordPress Plugins menu page and click on “Activate” link of Booking Calendar. Wait for the message “Plugin is Activated successfully”. It’s important.

      Please clear the browser cache, because update can have a new updated CSS or JS files.
      Now you can use your updated version.

      • Hola, he actualizado la version del plugin y ahora no me deja realizar resevas desde la web, siempre me da "500 Internal Server Error", en mi raiz no tenia el archivo .htaccess y lo he creado con este contenido como dice en el faq "AddType x-mapp-php5 .php" (sin comillas) y aun asi me sigue saliendo el mismo error, por favor ayundenme.

          please open the error.log file (probably you are need to contact about that your administrator or support of hosting) and recheck the reason of this issue.
          So then its will be more easy to fix the issue, when we will know the reason of it.

          Also did you make update/upload of the plugin using the wordpress menu or FTP ?
          Also please recheck this info.

          • Gracias por su ayuda y paciencia, he solucionado el error anterior, era un problema de permisos en el servidor, ya esta ok, pero sigo con el mismo problema inicial, me traduce todo a español menos los e-mails, estos siempre los envia en ingles aunque este traducido correctamente en el archivo wpdev-booking-es_ES.mo/.po
             
            Alguna sugerencia?

              • hola, he seguido los pasos que me indica usted en el post anterior con exactitud, incluso he vuelto a actualizar el plugin a la version 4.1.2, he desactivado y vuelto a activar el plugin despues de realizar la traduccion en el archivo wpdev-booking-es_ES.po/.mo y nada, no consigo que mande los emails en español.

                  what is the locale you are set at the config.php file ?
                  In the translation files you are need to deactivate the "fuzzy" status for your translated terms there, if its set.
                  Can you send the files po/mo to recheck your translation, if the issue is still exist?

                    Despues he desactivado y he vuelto a activar el plugin y he probado a realizar una reserva, teóricamente me deveria llegar un email anunciando una nueva reserva pendiente de aprobar y tendría que estar en español, pero no, sigue enviándolo en ingles:

                      1) Is this only one email template (about the new bookings), which is showing in English instead of the Spanish and all other email templates are in Spanish?
                      2) Did you make all steps from this instruction ? Its important that you are have the option: "Delete booking data" checked at the General Booking Settings page during deactivation of the plugin.
                      3) Can you open your DB, using the phpMyAdmin tool and recheck the value of option "booking_email_reservation_content" in the wp_options table ?
                      4) Also is the mo file of your translation is updated after you are made changes in the po file (just recheck the time of modifications of those files, the time have tome the same).

  4. I am trying to make all of my pages have a scrolling text box on left and a portrait on the right. I tried putting this code into the text box (I had been working to get a contact 7 form to be on left side, so I just pasted this code where that code was working at.

    Everything on the page except for the calendar loads. I get a notice that says Calendar is loading...but it never loads. So am I going to be able to put the calendar in a textbox?

      I am not sure that clearly understood what you are try to make. But if the calendar is not loaded, please recheck your page for the any javascript errors, and if they are exist please fix them. Please check more info about common issues at the https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.

              • This isn't working either. Now it is just blank. When I copied the code where the parts are numbered 1,2,3 ect...I had to take those numbers out because it kept giving me a syntax error. Now, there's just nothing there. I may have left something that wasn't supposed to be there in, but it wasn't obvious. Anyway, it's just a blank left side of the page now.                       where you are inserted this code ?
                      Did you are insert it into the code of PHP file of your theme, like page.php ? If so, then its have to work.

                      You can try also this code:

                      If you are inserted it into the content of the post, using the WordPress Edit post menu, so then you are need just to have this shortcode, instead of that code:

  5. I have purchased the small business version of Booking Calendar. I want to teach classes and hold coaching sessions for multiple people. I have setup different resources for different classes and sessions. How does a customer select a specific resource? The Booking | Settings | Fields | Booking Form doesn't have a selection box for resources.
    How do I let multiple people sign up for the same class?

      1) You can insert into the post or page the booking shortcode (please read more how to insert and configure the booking shortcode into the post or page here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/ ) for the selections only specific booking resources (or all resources). So its will look like here: https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/select-resource-2/

      2) If you are need to have the possible to make the several reservations for the same FULL date, you are need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large. At the Booking Calendar Business Large version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it’s mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. Please read more info about the booking resources and how to configure them here.

  8. Hello, I am researching your booking system but I need some specific questions answered and wondered whether you can help me.
    I run a online gaming website that uses avatar technology allowing my visitors to walk around a 3D environment.  So we have built a 3D version
    of Las Vegas.  I want to now offer to our visitor the ability to check availability of flights, hotel rooms, attraction deals that we get from our business partners at one price and sell at a slightly higher price.  I need to know whether your plugin will manage both sides of transaction for use and who puts the deals onto system?  Do we do it ourselves or is there a facility to allow the partners to manage there own deal space on our site?  Your help here would be most appreciated and if you could tell me which package would be best to start out with.

      Unfortunately the booking calendar is not support such functionality as in your description. Please read overview about the booking calendar versions at the help section and test the live demos to be sure in functionality.

    Also I noticed that after the booking is complete the thank you message appears and then the booking calendar is invisible. How to make sure that the calendar is visible again.

      Inside of your email template you can see the booked dates at the top of the email template: March 26, 2013, March 29, 2013.
      If you are need to have the info about what is the resources is booked by visitor (service, property, etc...),
      so the possibility to have the several booking resources (free version have one default resource) is available in the each paid version of the Booking calendar. Please read more info about the booking resources and how to configure them here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-resource/

      Also at the paid version is possible to configure the form fields at the : Booking > Settings > Fields page.

      The calendar is hided after reservation is done, because we are need to hide the already booked dates at the calendar.
