Is there a way to get the form data e.g. the entered email at the success page / failed page (after payment)?
You can activate this option "Show booking details in payment form" at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

In the Booking Calendar the “additional cost” can not depend from the seasons (days of week) you can set it in General as fixed cost or percentages. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/advanced-costs-video-overview/
But in your example it’s depend from the weekdays - seasons. That’s why Unfortunately it’s swill not work in the Booking Calendar versions. Sorry.
You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

Is there a way to adjust the booking form short code so one form takes payment at time of booking and one form emails the client for payment.
I want both forms linked to the same calendar. But the one that emails for payment would be so staff can login and take telephone bookings without the need to access the admin area?
Unfortunately it’s does not possible to have one form with payment form and other without it relative to the same booking resource.
But here possible to make a trick.
The payment form is not showing if the cost of booking = 0.
So you can create one custom booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page with extra checkbox (checked by default and may be hidden from visitors). And then at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page configure for this option extra cost as 0% - irs means that total booking cost will be multiply to 0% and final cost will be 0. That’s will be reason of not showing payment form here.

For my cottage rental website I have defined multple special seasons:
High Season: June 29th - Aug 30th: Price is 82eu a day
but during the High season we have a special week here which runs from "Aug 3th - Aug 8th" where the price will be 100eur a day.
How can i overrule the price of the high season for the price settings set in the special period that takes place in the high season?
You need to edit your High season and exclude these dates "Aug 3th - Aug 8th" from this High season. Then you need to create new season, for example with name “Extra high” with these dates "Aug 3th - Aug 8th". Then you can define new cost for this extra high season at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page by clicking on Rates button.

Can I put 2 different booking calendar in 2 posts?
Its possible in the paid versions of Booking Calendar.
The ability to have independent calendars possible in any paid versions of Booking Calendar.
Check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#booking-resources
You can watch video overview about this feature here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/multiple-calendars-video-overview-of-booking-resources-in-booking-calendar/
Please read firstly the general instruction about usage of paid versions of Booking Calendar: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/general-usage-instruction/
You can create the different booking resources (your properties or services - unique calendars) at the Booking > Resources page and then you be able to insert booking forms for each of your booking resources into the posts or pages. Please read more how to insert and configure the booking shortcode into the post or page here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/
is it possible to add events to the calender in the Business Large version? How is this done?
And is it possible to mix the options to buy tickets for an event an the option to book a location in the same calendar? Or can I install two different calendars for this purpose on my website?
Please note, Booking Calendar plugin is more about the booking system then events system.
1) But in this version of Booking Calendar you can set as available only specific dates via season filters - your event dates. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#availability Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-season-availability/
2) And then you can define this calendar with specific capacity. So If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
You can test it in the live demo here https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Watch video about this feature here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/availability-capacity-video-overview/
At this version possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But its possible to make booking only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only saved as data into database, but do not apply to availability logic).
Highly recommend, to check this article about configuration of capacity and availability for booking resources: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/
3) The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support Stripe, PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL via Sisow and iPay88 payment gateways integration, other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
Please watch more in this video: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-payments/
If you want to make the integration of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how was integrated exist payment system in plugin like Stripe payment gateway. Please check more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/
Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.
What would you recommend for booking tickets of events instead of this calender software?
Sorry, we can not make some suggestions about other plugins.
After running a few tests, there is an bug that occurs that when the time is booked as an all day event. Testing from 8 AM to 12AM will display the booking as "November 30, -0001," and the date ended. How can I fix this so the starting time will show correctly as the user enters it?
Please let me know.
Please be sure that you have correctly configured that timeslots like “08:00 - 12:00”
Or in case if you are using labels with values, like this: “8 AM - 12 PM@@08:00 - 12:00”
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
Just be sure that the value of timeslots does not equal to 00:00 Otherwise all day will be marked as fully booked.
8 AM - 12 PM displays correctly, I am having issues with 8 AM - 12 AM showing up on the calendar overview like so, instead it shows November 30, -0001 and apologies, it does not show the user end time, it shows the the start time. Here is a link that shows 2 captures of what I see and the error.
How did you defined end time at the Booking > Settings > Form page ?
Its must not contain value like this: "00:00",
Instead of that use "00:01" or "23:59".
Thank you, this works well!
Hi - having a small issue with multiple bookings in Medium Business version. We have regular bookings to add for hiring a hall - for example, first Friday of the month for the next 12 months - and they all have the same time slot (time slots are 0900 to 1200, 1200 to 1800 and 1800 to 2300 for example). Via the admin area I've created the bookings for 12 months and in the calendar overview they all show as having the slot 1800 to 2300).
First off - I thought these would be automatically 'confirmed' if they were added directly in the admin system (this definitely happened with a single test that I did), although confirming the first one does appear to confirm all of them. However, now that they're all confirmed each date is showing in the public calendar as fully booked instead of partially booked ... the partially booked function definitely works OK because there are single day bookings made which are definitely showing as partially booked. Am I doing something wrong?! Thanks for your help.
1) You can activate this option "Auto approve bookings after creation booking in admin panel" at the Booking > Settings General page in "Auto cancellation / auto approval of bookings" section.
2) Also you need to set as checked this option "Use time selections as recurrent time slots" at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section, if you want to use recurrent time to reserve several days. This means that middle days will be partially booked by actual times, otherwise the time in the booking form will be used as check-in/check-out time for the first and last day of the reservation.
Thank you for that - it sounds exactly what I need!
I need to update for the latest version, and I just got it in my mailbox. But you ask me to make a backup before launching the new file. How do I make this backup of the database? I have the business large.
It’s not the obligatory, but recommended step to make backup. You can contact support of your hosting about how to make backup of database at your server.
I bought the Business Large version. Is it nesserary to deactivate the free version to run everything correctly?
Yes, it’s necessary. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/upgrade-from-free-to-paid-version/
