  1. HI,

When editing a booking request, is it possible to change the resource on that booking, instead of having to cancel that booking and create a new booking with the desired resource?

    Thanks

  2. Hi,

I have the following select check in/out times in my booking form from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm:

    Pick up time:[select* starttime default:08:00 "8:00 am@@08:00" "8:30 am@@08:30" "9:00 am@@09:00" "9:30 am@@09:30" "10:00 am@@10:00" "10:30 am@@10:30" "11:00 am@@11:00" "11:30 am@@11:30" "12:00 pm@@12:00" "12:30 pm@@12:30" "1:00 pm@@13:00" "1:30 pm@@13:30" "2:00 pm@@14:00" "2:30 pm@@14:30" "3:00 pm@@15:00" "3:30 pm@@15:30" "4:00 pm@@16:00"]
    Drop off time:[select* endtime default:16:00 "8:00 am@@08:00" "8:30 am@@08:30" "9:00 am@@09:00" "9:30 am@@09:30" "10:00 am@@10:00" "10:30 am@@10:30" "11:00 am@@11:00" "11:30 am@@11:30" "12:00 pm@@12:00" "12:30 pm@@12:30" "1:00 pm@@13:00" "1:30 pm@@13:30" "2:00 pm@@14:00" "2:30 pm@@14:30" "3:00 pm@@15:00" "3:30 pm@@15:30" "4:00 pm@@16:00"]

However, when I select a time other than 8:00 am or 4:00 pm, it still uses the check in time as 8:00 am and check out time as 4:00 pm. Also, when I try to edit the booking and change the times it still uses these same check in/out times.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks

    • Hello.
      1) Please be sure that you DO NOT activated using “check in/out times” at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section. It’s override the times from booking form.

      2) Otherwise send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
And send screenshot of this issue.
      Thank you.

    • Hello.
In actual update of Booking Calendar Business Large version possible to search availability only among the pages, where you have inserted the booking form shortcodes into the CONTENT of the posts or pages. If you was added booking forms to the sidebars, so then the search results will not show. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-search-results/

You can check this suggestion about customization of adding blank booking shortcodes into the booking content and then adding real booking forms to the sidebars. Check here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/support/comment-page-44/#comment-17666

Disclaimer. Unfortunately we can not start, right now, some personal customization or custom development, because almost have no free time.
Check more about new features here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/need-new-feature/
      Thank you for understanding.
Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.

      Kind Regards.

  3. Hi.
Are you going to enable photo upload soon?
What I need is for the image uploaded by the user to appear on his secret page.
The problem of doing it as you say in the answer "03/18/2019 at 13:52" is that the forms or external applications that I have tried, do it in 2 parts, on the one hand they upload the files to a folder in the media library, and on the other they show them through a gallery that takes the data from that folder, they do not attach them directly to the page, so that, being a secret page, the same model for all, the gallery would be the same and everyone would see all the photos in the gallery I can not work opening users and passwrods because it is not interesting for the purpose of the business.
Have you solved this in any way? Do you know any plugin that uploads the photos directly? Do you plan to implement it, being able to launch the photo to the secret page? Any other idea?
    Thanks

    • Hello.
Currently we do not have in plans in some close future to implement the ability to upload some files during booking process. Sorry. We are having too many other items in the TODO list for implementation. Thank you for understanding.

Also I can not suggest some good plugin for such type of uploading from some other secret page. You can only check about some other plugins here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/upload+file/

      Kind Regards.

  4. Hello, I have a website that has been operating with Business Medium SingleSite 8.4.1 without issue for about 6 months.

Now, when selecting the days on the calendar to make or edit a booking does not calculate the number of days correctly.

To make the counter increase above 1 we have to select 4 days and then the calculation increases to 2. Every subsequent day added increases the counter correctly, but its this initial count which means the whole solution from a pricing perspective does not work.

    What could be causing this?

    WP5.1.1
    Theme: Divi 3.2.1.4

    • Hello.
      Its weird issue...
      1) Please try to update your version of Booking Calendar to the latest update 8.4.6

If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.

      3) If the issue, still will exist, please send configuration of your booking form from the Booking > Settings > Form page and screenshot of full Booking > Settings General page to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Also please send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.

      Kind Regards.

        • Hello.
          1) Did you make any source code customization ?
          2) Please try to activate the range days selection mode using 2 mouse clicks at the Booking > Settings General page . Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-range-days-selection/
          3) What shortcode hints for dates and times you are using at the Booking > Settings > Form page ?
          4) Please send screenshots from Booking > Settings General page and from the Booking > Settings > Form pages to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com

          • I have sent the email as instructed with screen shots and form code.

Note there is no source code mofification
            update ow implemented

            Thank you

      • Ok updated and disabled.

        No joy.

In fact now the booking calendar shortcodes are visible. Assuming you have changed something...in the latest update?

        I can now see this:

        [selected_short_timedates_hint]

        ( [nights_number_hint] - night(s))

Full cost of the booking: [cost_hint]
        https://oceanechoes.com.au/bookings/

        • It’s seems that you was updated to wrong version Booking Calendar Business Small version and not the Booking Calendar Business Medium version.

Please specify correct order number of upgrade in the request form (or any other info about upgrade to Booking Calendar Business Medium version ) in request form here : https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

          • OK so newest version updated.

No change. The shortcodes now work but the calculation issue remains...

I have to use more than 3 days to get the initial calculation to start working..

  5. Hi, i am using booking calendar. From today suddenly emails stopped coming for new bookings. What is the solution?

    • Hello.
Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.

Please check this troubleshooting instruction https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/

The most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is 'sending emails via php' option and it can resolve that issue.
      Kind Regards.

  6. Hello, I have configured the .ics export according to the instructions.
Unfortunately, no .ics file is generated, even if I change the export path. I have tried to create an specific folder (chmod 777) folder via ftp, but the same result.
Any idea what the problem could be? Is the a log file somewhere?

    Thanks!

    • Hello.
You do not need to create any folders or files. It’s dynamic ics feed, which is generating as feed from php file.

Try to configured the URL to this .ics feed where url ending with wpbm.ics at the Booking > Settings > Sync > "Import - .ics" page, relative to this instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/export-ics-feeds/

Otherwise probably this issue, because of some security configuration of your server, that is block such access to the virtual files feeds or because of conflict with some other plugin.

Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.

Otherwise, please recheck your server configuration that its does not block feeds generations from the php file and redirection n to the home page. Probably in this case you will be need to contact support of your hosting to recheck your server configuration (may be something incorrectly configured in the .htaccess file).

Also please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

      Kind Regards.

i HAVE STOPPED GETTING THE BOOKING MAILS...HOW TO SOLVE?
aLSO, CAN I IMPORT THE BOOKINGS IN csv ?

    • Hello.
      1) Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails.

      2) Booking Calendar paid versions support only export of bookings into the CSV files. It’s does not support importing of bookings from CSV files. Sorry.

  9. Hello.
We would like to know how to update your plugins on our site because this one refuses it every time.
We bought it for ce.palmbus.fr but the site we will relocate it on cse-palmbus.fr is it possible to update your database and give us the procedure of update.

    • Hello.

      1) Yes, its possible to make such transfer from one website to other. But you will be need to delete the Booking Calendar fro mold website, after finish of transfer.
We was make re-registration of your order relative to the new website, so you can move your version of Booking Calendar.

      2) General instruction about the migrate process (in case, if you need to move all exist settings, and bookings from one website to other).

So please follow this general migrate process (in case if you will not make fully identical transfer).

      1) You need to inform us about old and new url of websites for your Booking Calendar version.

      2) You need to transfer the Booking Calendar files from the ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder} of old website to new website.

According transfer of the Booking Calendar Data.

      3) Please backup and restore to the new site the DB tables that is starting from the "wp_booking" term, for example using the phpMyAdmin tool.

Please watch this video guide about

      this export: https://youtu.be/4425kRMaFso

      4) Also you will be need to backup and restore some records from the wp_options table, where option_name fields are starting from the "booking_" term.

Please watch this video guide about this export: https://youtu.be/EZ4jxJDlTFs

Helpful tip from video guide. In the old database you need to execute this SQL in your phpMyAdmin tool.

      SELECT * FROM `wp_options` WHERE `option_name` LIKE 'booking%'

After this you can export SQL file for importing in your new database.

      Kind Regards.
