Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $20 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $30 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of multi site usage versions higher on $50 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Each specific version of Booking Calendar can be single site usage version, developer or multi site usage version.
Single site usage version, possible to install and activate only at 1 specific website.
Developer edition version, possible to install and activate at 2 different websites. Its can be test (developer) server and live website.
Multi site usage version, possible to install and activate maximum on 5 different websites.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Administrator can make the booking at admin panel at the "Add new booking" menu page and configure the different settings of the booking form and availability calendar at the general booking settings menu page.

Booking Calendar Personal - it's paid version, where is possible to have booking availability calendar for the each of multiple booking resources (like a room, cars or any services, etc…). You can add new and configure exist fields in the booking form. Also you can configure the email templates for the different booking actions. Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

Booking Calendar Business Medium - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you will have more advanced cost and availability management of the bookings. At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. Also you can able to configure the several customization of booking form fields, it's mean that different resources can have different form fields. Booking Calendar Business Large - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can make the several reservations per the same FULL date (not a time slot) for the same booking resource (availability calendar). At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. Also at this version you will be able to search the available booking resources in your pages or posts for the specific check in/out dates and specific number of visitors. Booking Calendar MultiUser - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus each registered WordPress user of your site can have independent, individual, own booking admin panel. It's mean that each regular registered WordPress user can see only OWN booking resources and bookings and can configure the own booking form fields and email templates, own payment form integration data and costs of booking resources as some other settings... In this version is exist also the "super booking admin users", which can see and manage the bookings and booking resources from the all users and manage the status of other bookings users.     We are running WordPress version 5.7 on FastHosts (UK).
    The only Plugins are Booking Calendar and Limited Logins.
    The theme is Twenty-Twenty with very little customisation.
    I have searched the forum archives, and didn't find my precise question:

    We have website booking form with Time Slots displayed as Time Picker (instead of dropdown).
    My question is, can we allow the website visitor to select multiple time slots?

    I know that we can use Start/End/Duration Time instead, but that comes with a different set of issues...
    I can also see how to change the Time Picker UI behaviour by modifying the JS, but I would rather not...

  2. Buenas tardes, me parece excelente este plugin pero tengo un pequeño problema: no coincide la hora que se escoge para la consulta con el informe que se ve en el mail de confirmación o cualquier mail.

      Please note, curently support and communications possible only in English via emails or at support plugin forum. Thank you for understanding.

      You need to deactivate this option “ Use localized time format”, at the Booking > Settings General page in Booking Admin panel section. This option useful only, if you have issue with translation of time format. If you activated this option, at some servers possible issue with "Daylight Saving Time" - booked times can be later on 1 hour.

    We are a looking to get the Plug-in for a school. We think we will need 1500 calendars. We also want to divide the overview calendars in some division

    1) Books boxes
    2) Albums
    3)Repertory
    3.1 First Grade
    3.2 Second Grade
    3.3 Third Grade
    3.4 Fourth Grade
    3.5 Fifth Grade

    We really think the Plugin could fit our needs, but we really need to know if our WordPress webstie can handle 1500 and if the overview calendars can be flexible with multiple level of catagorization.

      It’s possible only if you will have the different calendars at the different pages.
      Also in calendar overview it’s does not possible to show such large amount of booking resources. Sorry.
      It does not support categories in the Calendar overview, as well. Sorry.

    we are looking for a payment tool to be used with WooCommerce, that lets us collect the payment details of a customer, but only charge him after an event/he returned an item (e.g. in order to add a fee in case something got damaged).

    Is that possible with your plugin?

      Unfortunately, no. Unfortunately, the Booking Calendar does not support integration with WooCommerce plugin. Sorry.

      The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support Stripe, PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL via Sisow and iPay88 payment gateways integration, other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

      If you want to make the integration of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how was integrated exist payment system in plugin like Stripe payment gateway. Please check more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/

      Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.

    Its possible to hide pending booking enquiries in List View, but can the same function be applied to Calendar View so I can hide pending Enquiries and only see Approved Bookings?

    Previously, I was able to customise the email notifications so that the email came from the person making the booking. This doesn't seem possible in the latest update unless I am missing something. Can anyone advise on this?

      We have not changed anything relative to emails in latest updates. You can configure the emails at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.

  8. the calendar is loaded but when you click on the reservation, only the wheel spins and the reservation is not made

    • Hello.
      Its most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl {+} Shift {+} J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
      You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.
      You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
      If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.
      If you still will have this issue, please send the link to the page with booking form, where you are having an issue, I will check it then.

      Otherwise Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

  9. Hello,

    I have some issues concerning the search tool and calendar in the booking form.

    In the settings I have set the possibility to book 4, 5, 8, 11, 12 etc days (screenshot 1: https://ibb.co/2skDGtr), with startdays monday and friday.

    When I use the search tool, I can check other selection of days. For example a range of 6 days (screenshot 2: https://ibb.co/VpqsZ7s) which should not be possible. When I want to book these 6 days, I get screenshot 3:(https://ibb.co/qmwxgMZ) the calendar shows the 6 days I have selected, but the check out hint date is 5 days.

    Furthermore I can select the following in the calendar in the booking form, which should not be possible:
    Screenshot 4 (https://ibb.co/bKvtptz): I can book 3 days, but calendar shows me 4 days. I am not allowed to book 3 days.
    Screenshot 5 (https://ibb.co/YhjTPgk): I can book 7 days, but calendar shows me 8 days. I am not allowed to book 3 days.

    Could you please advice on how to solve this?

      To disable selection of the dates in the calendar, after redirection from the search results, please make this fix.

      Please open this file ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc/js/biz_l.js

      ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

      then find this code:

      and replace it to this code:

        This doesn't work. Though it is not my biggest problem. What I really need to get solved is this:

        The biggest problem is that it is possible to select other dateranges in the calendar in the bookingform than I have set to be allowed. Guests can book 6 days, allthough I have set 4, 5, 8, 11 etc. days. https://ibb.co/2skDGtr

        I can select the following in the calendar in the booking form, which should not be possible:
        Screenshot 4 (https://ibb.co/bKvtptz): I can book 3 days, but calendar shows me 4 days. I am not allowed to book 3 days. Still guests can fill out the form and book 3 days, which I do not want.
        Screenshot 5 (https://ibb.co/YhjTPgk): I can book 7 days, but calendar shows me 8 days. I am not allowed to book 7 days. Still guests can fill out the form and book 7 days, which I do not want.

        Hope this can be solved.

          First of all selected dates in calendar it’s NUMBER OF DAYS that possible to selects and not the nights.
          In your screenshot #4 is secured 4 DAYS, and that what you have configured at the Booking > Settings General page.
          In your screenshot #5 is secured 8 DAYS, and that what you have configured at the Booking > Settings General page.

            I know, the secured days in calendar is correct, but I still can click for 3 days and 7 days and book this. Please see the check in and check out dates below the calendar, this does not match.

            Screenshot 4: check out in calendar is 19-07, but I have clicked on 18-07 and that is what is selected as check out date below the calendar and what is booked.
            Screenshot 5: check out in calendar is 23-07, but I have clicked on 22-07 and that is what is selected as check out date below the calendar and what is booked.

              Please use the correct days hints at the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.

              Use this shortcode [check_out_date_hint]

              instead of this one: [check_out_plus1day_hint]
