If you have any technical question about the plugin or configuration of plugin or if you found some issue, please describe it here. Please, inform inside of message your version of WordPress, PHP, Booking Calendar. Also sometimes is needed list of used plugins inside of system and name of your WordPress theme.

  1. If I use the Booking Calendar shortcode [bookingcalendar type=5 nummonths=1] The full-day booking are shown with the clock like fi there were partially booked.

    But if I use the booking [booking type=5 nummonths=4 options='{calendar width=100%}'] the full-day are all blue and everything is correct.

    How do I fix the first shortcode to show the full-day booking correct?

    • Hello.
      It’s becase in first shortcode you are showing only availability calendar. And we do not have in the booking form timeslots shortcodes. It’s means that we do not know if all timeslots was booked or not. Because it’s can be different for different days in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.

      So for availability calendar it’s does not possible to show as in your description.

  2. Hallo
    I have a version Business Large. I would like to import and export the calendar of 7 different units (single houses) and the site operate with 3 different language, more in the future. My question is:

    I am not sure if I am to use solution:
    1. only one calendar for all 7 units or
    2. delegate one calendar per unit

    Please explain the advantage for the solution you would recommend.

      Its depend from your needs. You can have one calendar with capacity = 7 (one parent and 6 child booking resources),
      or you can have 7 several independent calendars with booking forms.

      You can create the different booking resources (your properties or services - unique calendars) at the Booking > Resources page and then you be able to insert booking forms for each of your booking resources into the posts or pages.       At this version possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But its possible to make booking only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only saved as data into database, but do not apply to availability logic).

      3) Relative import and export bookings from the different booking resources (calendars).

      Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically access this page with booking import shortcode to start import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly system will start import process and only then show booking form, when someone visit your page.

      You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/

      Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.

        My question is not about the booking ressources (bookingtype). My question is about the forms which hold the calendar. Do I need to create 7 forms, one for each house, or is this only one design (one form) which can be applied to all 7 houses?

              You can define your own fonts by css customization. You can do this for example in the ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/css/client.css file.

    I have purchased your plugin, and I have the version: Business Medium SingleSite 5.4.4

    I need to synchronize the calendar with booking.com, etc
    and I can only synchronize with Google calendar.

      You are using very old version of Booking Calendar 5.4.4
      You need to update your version to the latest update 8.4.6

      Booking Calendar plugin is supporting

      - import of events via .ics feeds from Google Calendar ( or Airbnb or any other calendar that support .ics format, like iCal application)

      - and export bookings to .ics feeds (files), which possible to import in Google Calendar (or Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, FlipKey and any other calendar that uses .ics format ).

        * The multipurpose version, which is for 5 websites
        but I need to use it in more than 5 websites. Do you have any version of that feature?

        * The version that is for a single website, can I use it for different users?

          1) The multisite usage version possible to use maximum on 5 DIFFERENT WEBSITES, if you need to use on more website, so then you need to purchase other version of Booking Calendar (like other multisite usage version).           2) I do not sure that clearly understand about different users. The single site usage version you can install at one specific website.

  5. I just bought the Multi-user one site. We have 2 resources we need available to all our users for services we offer like maintenance and cleaning. I see on the resources that under info it say SINGLE. and you can only choose 1 user. Is there a way for these 2 resources to be available for all our users?

    We created a custom HTML template for the emails. However, if I copy that into the text field in the backend and save, most of the code disappeares.
    1. is there an option to disable that behavior OR
    2. how / where can I edit the code of the email templates so it works?

      You can edit the email template directly. You can find the path to the email template file at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.
      Such files located at the ..\wp-content\plugins\{Booking Calendar Folder}\core\any\emails_tpl folder.

  7. Tested free version worked on my site then purchased small business version.

    Recieved download link via email.

    Attemped to install from WP dashbaord (after removing free version).

    Error msg re: upload of zip file: "The link you followed has expired."

    I could upload via FTP but was not certain what the plugin file folder should be named. Zip file name is: booking.bs.8.4.6

    I totally love your plugin, thank you so much!
    Just a little question... Our site is in Dutch & French.
    I translated the automated e-mails using the shortcode and the correct locale of the language. It does work fine for the 1st e-mail the client receives (the pending one), all the other ones are translated the same way in admin but do not translate for the client (confirmation, trash, delete).
    What can I do about this? Thanks!

    • Hello.
      Before approving or cancelation of booking in admin panel, you need to switch the language of your admin panel to specific other language. And then make approve or cancelation. Booking Calendar is sending emails for specific action in language of your active locale during creation of such actions (approving , cancelation, etc...).

      If you are using some translation plugin, so usually such plugins have to provide some menu for admin panel to switch language there.

      If you do not use any translation plugin (only in this case) you can use “globe” icon near specific booking in Booking Listing page to switch locale for specific booking before making some actions (like approving or cancelation).

  9. Hi,

    I've used your plugin once and I want to use it again for another client, but there is a small issue. If I buy the plugin (business large), can you help me with this issue?

    I made a first concept of the homepage and found that the searchbar is showing all the fields below each other and not next to each other as in the example. I've tried to moderate this with CSS, but that's not really my thing. It looks good now on desktop in chrome, but not in Edge. Also on Ipad portrait it doen't look good.

      Please note, you can configure structure of your search form at the Booking > Settings > Search page. Also you can define necessary CSS for showing your fields in a way like you need at the same form or in separate css file.

      We can provide only direction of customization or can check some issues, but we do not provide full customizations for customers. Thank you for understanding.

      • Thanks for your response. What does direction of custimization mean? All I want is to make it look like it's supposed to / your example in different browsers. Just like this: https://www.watersportverhuurbedrijfdearne.nl/booking but then on another site with another theme. My CSS skills are not good enough. In most themes it automatically looks like that. Just not in the theme I've used: Enfold.

        The CSS will be entered in themeoptions in the childteme, so the sourcecode will not be changed.
