  1. It seems that Super Admins who are not Administrators cannot see the Booking > Settings page. Is it possible to change this or add a custom capability to allow this, without having to promote them to Administrators?

    • Hello.
      Please login with Super booking admin user that have the "Administrator" user role. Then open the Booking > Settings General page and in Plugin menu section for all plugin menu items, please set minimum user role as "Subscriber" Save changes. Test it.

  2. Hi

    Is it possible to hide or show fields based on the number of selected days? For example, if one day is selected to the customer should be able to select half a day (PM) of half a day (AM) or 3 hours. If multiple days selected they shouldn't have that option.

      Unfortunately it’s does not possible in actual versions. Sorry.

  3. I have setup to show total cost and deposit and then I have set deposit to be 50% when there is more than 21 days to booking.
    This is my code:
    Pris: [cost_hint]
    Depositum: [deposit_hint]

    It displays like this if there is more than 21 days to booking and booking cost is 5000 DKK.
    Pris: DKK 5.000
    Depositum: DKK 2.500

    This is perfect. However when there is less than 21 days it displays like this:
    Pris: DKK 5.000
    Depositum: DKK 5.000

    This is confusing to the customer and would like to just hide the deposit when it is less than 21 days. How can I do this? Should just display the price like this:
    Pris: DKK 5.000

    • Hello.
      In in actual versions of Booking Calendar does not possible to hide some fields (cost hints) depend from the selected dates. Sorry.
      So in your case you need to remove the deposit cost hint at all. And may be just write the text info about the deposit payment.

      • It is not depended from selected dates. It is set in the Ressources>Deposit and then under Conditions it says:
        show deposit payment form, only if difference between "today" and "check in" days more than
        The logic behind it works, but would be nice if you were able to insert some kind of "If" condition that would only show the field if above condition was complied.
        Could be a feature in future release if still not possible?

          Yes, I know.
          I was wrote about the deposit hint in the booking form. It’s can not be hidden depend from selected dates in actual versions. Sorry.

          I have there a text:
          "If your check-in date is closer than 30 days, Deposit is full price."
          And on page is

          Deposit: XXX Eur (100% of price)
          To pay later: 0 Eur

    I am creating a reservation system for meeting rooms and need to have the timeslots dynamically selected (Not prefixed) so that the time range can be set with steps in 30 minutes. Personal Version - Any examples of a custom form?

      If you need to set time range with steps in 30 minutes, so it’s can be fixed range time shortcode. Or selection of start time and duration of time (30 min) fields in the booking form.

      The ability to book for the specific times possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1).
      In lower versions of Booking Calendar (including free version), possible to make bookings for specific times only for specific restricted time-slots.
      Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes.       You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

  6. Hello.
    At the time I am using the XTRA CHILD WordPress Theme and I have some difficulties regarding the Booking Calendar.
    Everytime I place the Booking Calendar plugin on my site, it brakes the styling kits of the WordPress theme I use. The styling kits are buttons and anytime the Booking Calendar is on my site the link disappears on the button.
    The browser error log shows that there is a error related to Booking Calendar plugin and it seems there is conflict between WP booking plugin and WPBakery plugin. The Booking Calendar somehow brakes the JS codes.

    Help would be greatly appreciated! Booking Calendar is the only calendar plugin that works on my site so I would love to get it fixed.

    I'm finished whith my sit where people can book campers. Now it's seems there are a few bugs. The day price of a camper is 55 or 65 euro. For the second time it automatically changed to 25 euro (this was the price I first put in). Do you have any idea how this is possible. I know for sure no one changed it.

    Also, when you book it's for a night. You pick the camper up at 15.00 and bring it back at 10. Sometimes the pick up and return days get marked as partially booked and sometimes the don't. How can this be?

    • Hello.
      1) Please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      2) Please be sure that you have activated the change over days functionality at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section - set option "Use check in/out times" as checked.

      3) Please be sure that you have set correctly costs.
      Please open the Booking > Settings > Payment page and be sure that you have set "cost per 1 day" , also this option "Time impact to cost" have to be unchecked.

      If you are using the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions, please recheck Rates and "Valuation days" cost settings at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page.
      Please set recheck the Rates and especially "Valuation days", may be because of those settings, its override cost for some dates during your booking process.

        I am not using cache. What happend is that I set the cotst per night per object and the amount i put in there just all of a sudden changed. See http://www.dev02.fyi-marketing.nl/wp-content/uploads/costs.pdf. This happend twice now. I solved it by overriding the price with season prices, but I still think it is very strange is suddenly changed.

        I did not use the setting as you described at point 2, but I do now. The problem now is that only the fully booked days get shown.           1) Its hard to say what wrong with costs without see all your costs and tests page with exactly description what dates need to select and what cost is showing, but what cost you aspect to receive there.

          So please recheck all your cost Settings. Otherwise if you still will have an issue, please send screenshot of all your cost Settings and send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue. And explain how to get issue that you are having. Please send all this to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com

          2) The change over days working only for new bookings. So please create new booking and test it. It’s does not apply to previous bookings, that you was made, before that change over days option was deactivated.

            1) I don't understand how it can have anything to do with other cost settings settings. It worked for weeks. Then suddenly the base price change. Then it worked for weeks again and then the price changed again. I did not change anything in the cost settings or any other settings (the site was about to go live). I only made a few tekstual changes in the forms and in the pages the booking forms are on. But I will leave this issue for now since I've solved it another way.

            2) The booking I made in the screenshot was a new booking. Everytime I changed something in the settings (only in the part in the printscreen) I made a new booking to see what is did.

              1) If you are using Rates, at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page, please be sure that you have activated specific rate - checkbox at the left side near specific booking have to be checked.

              I do not sure what exactly issue relative to changing of such costs. Do you have only one WordPress admin account, may be someone else was accidentally change it ? Please try to change the password to your WordPress user.

              2) Ok, can you send screenshot of Booking > Settings General page and send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue. Please send it to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com

  8. Hi, I have BC Bussines medium and I have problem with minimum days selection in diferent seasons. I have parameters for three diferent seasons, but still in High season (Hlavna sezona in my language) i have in calendar selection for 3 days, not for 7. Value is 7-90, not 3. What is wrong?

      1) Please be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar 8.4.6
      You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

      2) Please be sure to activate the range days selection mode using 2 mouse clicks at the Booking > Settings General page in calendar section.

      3) Please be sure to use in the Booking Calendar shortcode exactly the names of your season filters from the Booking > Resources > Filters page, like "Hlavna sezona".

      4) Note! Please be careful in configuration of Booking Calendar shortcode with quote symbols. Do not use non standard opening or closing quot symbols. Use only standard quote symbols. The best way to type them from keyboard, and not copy/paste.

      Booking Calendar plugin is supporting

      - import of events via .ics feeds from Google Calendar ( or Airbnb or any other calendar that support .ics format, like iCal application)

      - and export bookings to .ics feeds (files), which possible to import in Google Calendar (or Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, FlipKey and any other calendar that uses .ics format ).

      Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically access this page with booking import shortcode to start import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly system will start import process and only then show booking form, when someone visit your page.

      You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/

      Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.

  10. Hi,

    I just purchased the developer version and I am busy setting it up. Please assist with the following:

    1)I read somewhere that it is possible for the visitor to view their past bookings in the timeline via an e-mail link. How do I set it up? Is it possible for the Admin to also see that information per visitor?
    2) Is it possible to set up a payment confirmation e-mail to automatically go to the visitor when I mark their payment as completed?
