Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $20 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $30 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of multi site usage versions higher on $50 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Each specific version of Booking Calendar can be single site usage version, developer or multi site usage version.
Single site usage version, possible to install and activate only at 1 specific website.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Administrator can make the booking at admin panel at the "Add new booking" menu page and configure the different settings of the booking form and availability calendar at the general booking settings menu page.

Booking Calendar Personal - it's paid version, where is possible to have booking availability calendar for the each of multiple booking resources (like a room, cars or any services, etc…). You can add new and configure exist fields in the booking form. Also you can configure the email templates for the different booking actions. Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

Booking Calendar Business Medium - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you will have more advanced cost and availability management of the bookings. At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. In this version is exist also the "super booking admin users", which can see and manage the bookings and booking resources from the all users and manage the status of other bookings users.   1. I purchased the personal version. I cannot get it to work despite having spent hours watching the videos and trying to figure out how to get my four resources to show booked and available days and months. It's impossible. It was a huge waste of money. The videos are basically useless and there's nothing printed that might show the way,if there is a way, to make the program work. I very frustrated and disappointed.

    • Hello.
      1) If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the "Advanced section", please be sure that you have not activated this option: "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s)". This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.
      This option "Use pending days as available" must be unchecked, as well.

      If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      2) You can send screenshots of your configuration from the Booking > Settings General page and Booking > Resources page and send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue. So we can check and help you.

      • Additionally, if you see all your dates as not available and you can not select any days in the booking form, please open the Booking > Settings General page and be sure that in the Availability section all options for the "Unavailable week days" was UNCHECKED.
        And this option "Unavailable days from today" was set as "0 ".

  2. I've put everything in place so it seems, but when making a test reservation from the website the booking is placed excatly 22 hours later on the calendar. The information i receive for the reservation shows right date and hour but placement in het calendar is off by 22 hours.
    To be perfectly clear here is an example:
    Booking made for july 2nd 2020 at 1 pm is shown on calendar on july 3rd at 11 AM.
    I can't find anything wrong in the settings.

    • Hello.
      1) Please open the Booking > Settings General page and in Booking admin panel section please uncheck this option "Use localized time format".
      2) also please be sure that you have correctly configured the time-slots at the Booking > Settings > Form page. Time values must be only in the 24 hour format.
      Example:

    • Hello.
      Please be sure that you have set correct time zone at the WordPress > Settings General page.

      Otherwise Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason of this issue.

  3. All of my users are logged-in users and their accounts are created by us. Is it possible for the booking form to simply use their login profile information when they book a reservation instead of having to fill out the form everytime?

    • Hello.
      You need to set checked this option: " Auto-fill fields " at the Booking > Settings General page in Form section.

      In this case, some fields (like Email, First name, Second name) will be auto filled by data from the User Profile.

    • Hello.
      Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.

      Please check this troubleshooting instruction https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/

      The most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is 'sending emails via php' option and it can resolve that issue.

        • Hello.

          The marking email as SPAM or not SPAM very depend from the visitors personal actions (what emails was marked as spam and what was not).

          I can suggest that you can change the content and/or subject of emails at the Settings > Emails page
          and change the "from email" (to your server email). It can be a reason why the mail system mark this email as spam.

          Usually, when visitor once mark the email as not spam, in a future this email will come to inbox.
          And of course some visitors can have this email as normal mail and other can receive it as spam, if they previously was mark similar email as spam.

          So its very depend from the actions of the visitor previously about the emails and content of the email.
          Right now I can only suggest to change the content of email and recheck that "From" address in the email was relative to your website URL.

            the problem is that emails that should not arrive. I installed the wordfence on the site and it only finds me as a vulnerability that the plugin is not updated and I also activated google's recaptcha v.3. Unfortunately, spam email not sent by users continues to arrive.

              Try to update the Booking Calendar version from your update 7.2 to the latest update 8.7.6

              Also you can set the accessing to the page with booking form only after processing some Google recaptcha. You can do this with some other plugin (Booking Calendar does not support it).

  5. Hi. We need some help concerning bookings. (Im helping my step-dads business)

    I just tested out where i filled out my own form, and sent a request. After that the payment shows up, but if i dont pay and lets say leave the site. Then the booked days i was supposed to pay for are still booked and didnt get canceled. Im using the business medium version.

    If someone sends in a form for the days that are booked, and leaves the payment page without paying you could book a month without paying and we would never know if we should be expecting money or if its fake. We lose customers this way.

    • Hello.
      Booking is created before payment process in any case.

      You can activate auto cancellation of pending bookings that have no successfully paid status after specific amount of time. You can activate this option at the Booking > Settings General page in "Auto cancellation / approving" section.

      So if the booking is not approved, and do not have the successfully payed status, this booking can be auto canceled after specific amount of time.

      Or you can even activate to show the "Pending bookings as available dates" - you can activate this option at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section.

      But you are need to be sure that all "good" bookings have to be approved or have the successfully payed status.

      Because if you are using the PayPal standard integration and your visitors is made the payment for the booking, but do not click on the "return link" on PayPal site to your site, so Booking Calendar do not know that the payment is successful, and this booking can be auto canceled with that feature.
      Stripe have to auto redirect to booking page automatically.

      So sometimes its possible that the successfully payed bookings will not have this status and that's why can be auto-canceled, if you do not approve them.

      Ideally (for PayPal) you will be need to activate and correctly configure the PayPal IPN system, at the Booking > Settings > Payment page and in the PayPal account. So in this case the PayPal have to send the messages directly to your booking system.

  7. I started using your plugin and love it. I have version 9.Personal.SingleSite.8.7.6

    I inserted a Timeline of all resources into a page. The bookings display, but can not be edited. The javascript is void.

    How can I add the capability to edit the bookings from the page?

  8. Hi again! Is it possible to only have deposit payment on site without customers having to pay the full price imidiately? When we set deposit to say like 5000 and the resources cost per day to 0. We get an error from stripe on the payment page that it doesnt accept anything below a certain amount of money.

    We want to send the payment later by email, but let them only pay deposit imidiately.

      You need to set cost per booking resource, higher than 0, at least 1 at the Booking > Resources page.

      Also please be sure that you have unchecked option to show “Both deposit and total sum” at the Booking > Settings > Payment page. This option have to be u checked.

      Currently its working with the same function for shifting to some step in wizards, form, that's why its asking about the validation for Back button, as well.
      We will add improving this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin, but I can not say, when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.

      • Oh, looking forward to it. I solved it by using a javascript that hides/shows the sections, so it's more a fake wizard now.
