  1. Hello again with an other question :

    I try to use the "agregate" parameter of the booking shortcode.
    I read what you suggested but it doesn't work on my website.

    I try with that :
    [booking form_type='standard' nummonths=2 agregate='13;14;15;16;17']

    When I check on the page, there is nothing on it except the title of the page. So, no calendar that show all the available ressources on 2 months.
    Perhaps I did a mistake ...

    Can you help me please ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Best regards

    • I precise something in order you can understand what I want :

      I would like to have the same calendar in the booking admin panel that show months and all ressources and booked and available rooms on a same calendar but without the name of customers for public customers.

      How to do that ?

      • Hello.
        1) You need to use in that shortcode, parameter "type".
        For example:

        [booking type='10' form_type='standard' nummonths=2 agregate='13;14;15;16;17']

        Its means that if you will make booking in this booking form, this booking will be belong to the booking resources with ID = 10.
        Also calendar in this booking form will show as "unavailable" dates, where exist bookings in resources with ID = 13;14;15;16;17
        Its means that agregate just make unavailable specific booked dates in the calendar, that belong to those different booking resources.
        Please read how manually to configure Booking Calendar shortcodes here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/

        2) Unfortunately, its does not possible to show calendar view as in admin panel at "Calendar Overview" page at the front-end side. Such type of view possible only in the admin panel, and its does not for making new bookings.

        At the front-end is supporting only inline month view calendars, where possible to show available and unavailable dates for the specific resource or group of resources (if you are using aggregate parameter), but its does not show resources in this calendar.

        You can have the selections of resources, like in this example: https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/select-resource/

        Kind Regards.

  4. Hello,

    Just bought the Personal version of this great plugin! However I cannot getting a booking to show on the calendar?!?!

    I have created a resource, adding a booking (both pending and approved), but I cannot get the booking to show in the calendar when I view it in the website. I can obviously view the booking in the CMS. Am I missing something obvious?

    • Hello.

      If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the "Advanced section", please be sure that you have not activated this option: "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s):". This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.

      If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      Kind Regards.

      • “Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s):” - THAT WAS IT!!!!
        I assume this is enabled by default, as it was a fresh install. Sorry I didn't spot it, it had to be the last option in the settings.

        Thank you for the prompt reply.

        Regards

        • Hello.
          Probably its was saved from the previous Booking Calendar free version settings.
          Anyhow good to know that its works for you.
          Kind Regards.

  5. First of all great plugin.

    I downloaded and the free version of the plugin to test it first. I'm not getting the notifications about new bookings and other actions to my email which is the default admin email. I did try allot of things to fix the problem but I didn't succeed. Please advice on what should I do? Thanks

    Also I was wondering if you interested in translating your plugin to Arabic? Let me know and I can work on that. If its translated to arabic you can use the translation in any arabic country in the Middle East.

    • Hello.
      1) Please recheck this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/do-not-get-emails/
      The most probably you will be need to check last point ( #6 ) from this troubleshooting instruction.
      Also you can check the info about similar troubleshooting story here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/e-mail-not-sending-3

      2) Yes we are interesting in your translation. Please check more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/make-translation-get-premium/
      Kind Regards.

      • Thank s for your reply. I have looked into all the instructions above and checked all of them also installed the SMTP plugin but still i'm not receiving any notifications to my email. i'm using my email on my domain as default email wordpress@mydomain.com so should I type my full email in the To: section or type admin email?

        • Hello.

          1) Firstly, please recheck that you activated (set checked active status of sending emails) at the Booking > Settings > Emails page for the each email template.

          2) Please be sure that you checked the Spam folders.

          3) Please try to use simple email declaration like somemyemail@server.com instead of "My first Name"

          4) Booking Calendar is use the standard WordPress function wp_mail for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.

          Please contact the support of your hosting company to recheck the mail log for rechecking the reason of why the emails are not sending.

          You can also check for the external SMTP plugin like this https://wordpress.org/plugins/postman-smtp/ or some other, for overriding WordPress wp_mail function.

          Kind Regards.

      • Hello.
        Its seems that your theme is using other version of bootstrap, and because of that exist this issue.
        I can suggest to deactivate loading of Booking Calendar scripts on any pages, except the page(s) with booking form.
        To do so, please open the General Booking Settings page, scroll to the "Advanced" section at the bottom of the page and click on this link: "Show advanced settings of JavaScript loading" to expand advanced section.
        Then activate this option: "Load JS and CSS files only on specific pages:"
        and in the bottom text-area enter the page slugs, where you inserted booking forms or availability calendars. So only on those pages will be load JS scripts of Booking Calendar.
        For example:

        /listings/on-corundum-pond/
        /listings/heaven-in-the-mountains/

        Kind Regards.

        • Hello again.
          You can also permanently disable loading of that JS script in the source code of plugin. But because of this, any mouse-over tooltips in calendar (like showing booked times, when mouse over on specific date at front-end side, if you are making booking for specific timeslots), will not show.

          To do so, please make this customization:
          Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/lib/wpbc-scripts.php

          then find this code:

              } else {
                  if ( ( class_exists('wpdev_bk_biz_s' ) ) && ( get_bk_option( 'booking_is_not_load_bs_script_in_client' ) !== 'On' ) ) {
                      wp_enqueue_script( 'wpbc-bts', WPDEV_BK_PLUGIN_URL . '/interface/bs/js/bs.min'.((WP_BK_MIN)?'.min':'').'.js', array( 'wpbc-global-vars' ), '1.0');
                  }
              }

          and replace it to this code:

              } else {
                  if ( ( class_exists('wpdev_bk_biz_s' ) ) && ( get_bk_option( 'booking_is_not_load_bs_script_in_client' ) !== 'On' ) ) {
                     // wp_enqueue_script( 'wpbc-bts', WPDEV_BK_PLUGIN_URL . '/interface/bs/js/bs.min'.((WP_BK_MIN)?'.min':'').'.js', array( 'wpbc-global-vars' ), '1.0');
                  }
              }

  7. Hi there,

    We have the Business Large license, and have set things up almost perfectly now. But there is something that I can't work out.

    Please see the calendar here:
    https://demoseat.com/mthay/rates-bookings/

    If you mouse over September 25th, 26th, you will see the availability says 5, 4. However, there is a booking here that starts on the 25th - checkout date is the 27th. Why does the availability show as '5' on the 25th instead of '4'?

    Thanks for your insight.
    Anthony

    • Hello.
      The date will be booked (availability per specific date decrease), if this date fully booked (middle days of booking, not the check in/out date),
      or if during this date exist both check in and check out bookings. If during specific day, exist only check in or check out booked date, then the availability will be the same as during available dates.
      For example, if you will make test booking from 23th to 25th of September, then the availability for the 24th and 25th of September become 4.
      The availability for the 23th of September will be the same as before (5), because this is check in date, and other booking, can end at this day.
      Kind Regards.

      • I guess this must make sense in some situation. But I think that most places accepting a booking for a person checking in on a particular date, and allocating them a room, would not want others to think they could check in/book that space on the same day.

        Maybe this is something to consider in a future release?

        Kind regards,
        Anthony

        • Hello.
          I will add this feature to the TODO list for some future updates.
          Kind Regards.

  8. Hi there,

    Using Business Small Single site, and in the general settings > fields I'm entering the [condition name="weekday-condition" type="weekday" value="0"]form goes here[/condition] to test the functionality. However on the actual page, the condition isn't working and just prints out "[condition name="weekday-condition" type="weekday" value="0"]form goes here[/condition]". What would be the cause of this? [calendar] shortcode works but not [condition] please help

  9. Hi under advance costing I have added the my_tax item and set this to 121% but when the tax is added to the final amount I get the wrong figure, i.e. if I make the resource amount 100 then the tax added is 120.83 and not 121.00 can you please advise, also I would like to know how to display the tax amount in the email listing together with the final amount.
    Thanks
    Spacepoint

    • Hello.
      Probably, the total cost of your booking was not equal to the $100.00 May be you was used some times, and this time impact to the total cost (if you have checked option "time impact to the cost" at the General Booking Settings page in cost section). Or you have some settings at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page, that impact to the cost, like rate, or valuation days cost. Please recheck it.

      Relative to show "tax" cost in the emails.
      For example, if you have configured additional cost for my_tax option at Advanced cost page,
      then in booking form you can use this shortcode [my_tax_hint] to show additional cost of this specific option (add “_hint” term to name of shortcode for creation hint
      shortcode).
      And then you be able to use the same shortcode [my_tax_hint] in the emails (at the Booking > Settings > Emails page). But firstly, you need to be sure that you used it in the Booking > Settings > Fields page.
      Kind Regards.

      • Hi

  10. I want to offer a Vacation Rental Portal site so that listings are added by Registered users.

    I want to allow many Users to register and then be able to add their own properties and descriptions and upload images.

    Will your calendar accommodate itself to offer each registered user their own availability calendars directly linked to the property or properties that they list?

    So that User Francesca will find when she signs in her own User Admin panel where she can submit multiple listings.
    And at any point she can ask for a new calendar to be created for this property and then select the date options for that listing.
    The completed calendar shows up as an Availability Calendar / Booking Form associated with her property, a different calendar for each property belonging to her.

    If I installed a portal or directory type of Real Estate or Vacation Rental theme in WordPress would I be able set up one of your versions of the wpbooking calendar so that it would be included in the Front End Booking template for each registered User?

    Thank you for your kind response!

    • Hello.
      Probably you need to check the Booking Calendar MultiUser version.

      In Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered wordpress user (owners) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own bookings and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only ownbookings). Also each owner (user) will receive and configure the own emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Also please note, that the each owner (wordpress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo and check info about this version here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#multiuser

      Please read more about the initialconfiguration of the Booking CalendarMultiUser version:https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/

      You can test the live demo of Booking Calendar Multiuser version here: https://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/
      Admin Panel of Multiuser version (here you can test several adminfunctionality): https://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/admin-panel/
      Kind Regards.
