Please, feel free to propose new ideas or new features, which you desire to see in future releases of Booking Calendar Plugin.

  1. Here are some feature requests:

    * Reminder Emails - set automatically or manually
    * Calendar integration - This is needed in a product priced as is
    * Personal version ability to black out specific hours or time blocks, not just what is set on front end

  2. On the calendar overview, it is not clear when a booking ends and another one begins.
    I suggest that a bold vertical line should be used between two different bookings and not an interrupted line.

  3. Hi, is it possible to create a new/additional status category. So, in addition to 'Available', 'Booked' and 'Unavailable', I could add a different type? Thank you!

    • Sorry, I should add... I want to keep those 3 currently existing and add a 4th option. I am already aware that we can edit the wording for the existing categories.

        Unfortunately, there is no ability to add some new statuses for the bookings in actual versions.
        Also its does not possible to add some new status for the bookings with some easy fix, because its will require a lot of work ( I am saying about the statuses of bookings and not the legend items under calendar).
        We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin.

  4. Hello,

    Is there any way to have different "Advanced Costs" depending of every "Season filter".

    For example give for free the breakfast in low season, but charge $30 dollars in high season.

    Anothe example is having a "No visitors limit per group day", for example, usually groups of 5 visitors pay $50 for a tour, but the "No visitors limit per group day", let's say the Wednesday, they pay $50 no matter how many of them they are.

    With the current configuration options "bussiness medium". I'm unable to do this!.

    • Another example:

      We're running an Escape Room business. Usually, groups from 2-5 visitors pay $50 per game, but groups of 6 visitors (max) pay $60 per game. I can configure this in Advanced Costs placing a "10" in visitor "6" so 50+10 = $60

      Until here, everything is fine. But we also have a "Discount Day" (Wednesdays) where groups pay $45 per game no matter if they're 2 or 6, and as far as I know, this is impossible to configure. We have a Season Filter for the Discount Day with $45 as price, but the Advaced Cost section will add $10 for the 6th person, and we want the price fixed no matter the size.

        Unfortunately, its does not possible to set the different cost for the different additional cost at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page.

        But you can define the different form fields for the different seasons. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/different-content-for-different-days-selection/
        Its means that for general season you can have visitors selection like this:

        <label>Adults</label>[select visitors class:span1 "1" "2" "3" "4"]

        and for high season you can have the visitors selection like this:

        <label>Adults</label>[select visitorshigh class:span1 "1" "2" "3" "4"]

        And then at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page you can configure the different cost for the "visitors" and "visitorshigh" field options.

        Please note, in "Content of booking fields data" form for such fields you can have configuration like this:

        <strong>Adults</strong>:<span class="fieldvalue"> [visitors][visitorshigh]</span><br/> 

        But here exist one limitations. Its will work only, in case if you select 1 day. Because of you select more than 1 day, so then system will not replace your visitors to visitorshigh, because its replacing this field in the booking form, only based on CHECK IN day (first selected day).

      Unfortunately, there is no such functionality. Sorry.

      Booking Calendar does not support the upload or attachments during booking process. Sorry.

      If you need that visitor upload some file during booking process, then please configure in the email template (that sending to the visitor, after visitor made the booking) some link to the secret page, where will be exist some form for uploading files.

      For uploading files, please use some other plugin, then just insert into that "secret" page some form for ability to upload file by your visitor.
