Hello,
I am using **WP Booking Calendar – Business Premium version** on a **WordPress site built with Elementor**, and I am having difficulty configuring pricing rules that match our pricing model.
One of the services on the website is the **rental of a gallery space**, which can be booked through the calendar. The pricing structure for this service is the following (example for the month of **March**):
* **55 € per weekday (Monday–Friday)**
* **100 € per weekend day or public holiday**
* **350 € for a 7-day booking**
* **700 € for a full month**
What I tried to do in the plugin:
1. I set a **base cost** for the resource.
2. I created **seasonal filters**:
* **“March Weekday”** → Monday to Friday = 55 €
* **“March Weekend”** → Saturday and Sunday = 100 €
3. Then I created another **pricing rule based on the number of selected days** so that **7 days should cost 350 €**.
The issue I am encountering is the following:
* The **7-day pricing rule must be attached to one of the seasonal filters** (for example “March Weekday”).
* However, a **7-day booking will inevitably include both weekdays and weekends**.
* Because of this, the rule does **not apply correctly**, since the booking spans multiple filters.
In addition, when I select **7 days in the calendar**, the **final price shown is different both from the expected total of the daily rates and from the intended flat rate of 350 €**.
So my questions are:
1. What is the correct way to configure **flat package prices (7 days or monthly)** when the booking period crosses multiple seasonal filters (weekday/weekend)?
2. Is there a recommended configuration for cases where **daily pricing and package pricing must coexist**?
3. Is it possible for the plugin to **override the daily calculation and apply a fixed price for a 7-day or monthly booking** regardless of weekday/weekend distribution?
Any guidance on how to structure these rules properly would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Hello.
1) Configure Duration-Based Costs:
This feature allows you to set costs based on the total number of selected dates. Please note that these costs depend on the number of days selected and the "check-in date" belonging to a specific season.
2) Season Intersections:
If a booking spans multiple seasons, the system calculates the cost based on the total number of days (e.g., 7 or 14 days) and the season associated with the first selected date (the check-in date). If your booking spans several seasons, this may cause issues with how the duration-based cost is applied. This feature is primarily designed to apply discounts or flat rates based on the length of stay, such as a 10% discount for bookings of 7 days or more.
3) Helpful Resources:
- Duration-Based Costs Overview (https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#valuation-days)
- Configuration Guide (https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configuring-duration-based-costs/)
4) Implementation Example:
First, set the standard cost for your booking resource to 55 EUR per day under Booking > Resources. Then, configure your Duration-Based Costs as follows:
5) Advanced Date Selection:
You may also want to define specific rules for when a booking can start (e.g., only on Mondays or Fridays) or limit the number of days a user can select. These advanced selection rules are available in the Business Medium version or higher.
For more information on these settings, please refer to:
- Advanced Days Selection (https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#advanced-days-selection)
- Booking Options Conditions (https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/#booking-options-condition)
Best regards.
Hi - I am using premium version. Have a sync problem - we connected To Airbnb calendars, everything seems to be working, but when the actual reservation syncs, the dates are shifted one day behind. For example, if I'm booking on the website using your extension, say May 29 and May 30, the sync to Airbnb shows the reservation as May 28 and May 29. So it's a one‑day shift every time.
Hello.
1) Please be sure that you defined the correct time-zone on the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Sync > Sync Options page. If the specific timezone does not help, please select the "Default" timezone and save the settings.
2) Try to set exporting of "Full-Day Bookings" in Booking Manager. Find more information at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/fix-ical-url-is-invalid/
Kind Regards.
Good day, I am attempting to use the short code [booking resource_id=3 nummonths=2 startmonth='2026-05'] to insert my calendar and resource using the insert WP Booking Calendar in Visual Editor.
The calendar is starting in March and it only shows one month - what is the fix for this issue?
Thank you,
Hello.
Please open the WP Booking Calendar > Settings General page in “Calendar” section and Be sure to set number of months to scroll as 1 year or more.
Kind Regards.
Hi everyone,
I am using Booking Calendar (Business Medium) on a multi-language site. I'm trying to set up multi-language email templates using the [lang=locale] tags as described in the documentation (Example 2).
The problem:
Whenever I paste my HTML code into the "Text" tab of the email settings and then switch to the "Visual" tab (or simply save), WordPress automatically wraps my language tags in paragraph tags, like this:
[lang=en_US] or [lang=en_US]
Because of these extra HTML tags, the plugin no longer recognizes the language tag as a command. As a result, the logic fails: either the email is sent with all languages visible, or it arrives completely empty.
My setup:
WordPress version: 6.9.4
Booking Calendar: Business Medium
Email Format: HTML
My question:
Is there a way to make the [lang] tags "Visual Editor proof"? I am building this site for a client (non-technical), so I cannot tell them to never use the Visual tab.
Is there a hook or a specific way to formatting the code so the plugin ignores the tags around the language markers? Or is there a setting to disable wpautop specifically for the Booking Calendar email settings?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hello.
It is common issue of standard WP Editor (Visual mode) for advanced configuration with some shortcodes.
Please configure it in Text view mode, and then click on Save button. It must save all your correct changes. Just do not click on Save button, when you in Visual view mode.
Test your email by creation of the new bookings.
Kind Regards.
I would like to adjust the widths of the text fields in the booking form. Currently, each field is set to 50% of the combined maximum width of the Calendar and the Booking Form.
For example, I would like the "Number of Guests" field to have a width that accommodates two digits. While I understand that I can limit the number of digits entered, I also want the text field to be consistent with this limit.
Is this possible?
Thank you,
Perry
Hello.
Please please send the exact link to your page with the booking form, where you are having the issue.
Unfortunately, my website is still under development and not live, so I am unable to send a link. However, I can provide the code for the Booking Form and screenshots of the calendar/ booking form page.
Hello.
Unfortunately without the testing real website it is hard to make such configuration, because on the with of the fields can impact your actual theme.
Kind Regards.
