    • Hello.
Its seems that your theme is used 2 sidebars for the different sizes of website (mobile version). Your theme show one widget for the full width (computer), and show other content (widget), if you open the page at mobile device, and hide previous content (sidebar) for computer size.

And you have inserted the shortcode for the same calendar (booking resource) 2 times. Booking Calendar plugin does not support showing the same calendar at the same page 2 or more times. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/why-the-booking-calendar-widget-not-show-on-page/

That's why its does not showing at the mobile devices (because calendar already rendered in section for desktop section, that was hidden by your theme).

To resolve this issue, you need to remove the Booking Calendar shortcode from the both section (desktop and mobile), and insert the Booking Calendar shortcode into the section at your website, where your theme will not hide it depend from the size of device. Booking Calendar is responsive by default, so its will show correctly does not depend from the size of screen.

      Thank you.

      • Hello.
If you need to send the payment request from the admin panel, after the booking was made, so then check this.

        1) Here is little instruction about configuration and sending payment request for payment balance.
Please read firstly this article about the correct configuration of the "payment link" : http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-editing-cancel-payment-bookings-for-visitors/
Then open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and configure and set active the "Payment request" email.

At the admin panel at the booking listing page, if you are want to request from the visitor to pay the rest of the sum, you are need to make these steps:

        a) Edit the cost of the booking, and enter the sum, which will show at the payment form.
You are need to change the cost and then press the save button to save the new cost.
        b) Press the send payment request button to send the email with link to the payment form for the specific booking.

        2) In case if you are having issue of not showing the payment form after the booking process, but you want to show, so then please check these points.
        - Be sure that you have activated and configured at least 1 payment system at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
        - Be sure that the cost of the booking higher than 0
        - Please be sure that this option "Do not show payment form, after submit booking form" is UNCHECKED at the Booking > Settings > Payment page in "Payment Options" section.

Otherwise the payment form after the booking process, will not show.
        Kind Regards.

          • Hello.
            Please check these points.

Otherwise, please send screenshots from the Booking > Resources page and Booking > Settings > Payment page.

  3. Hi,

I am assessing the option of using your application for one client and i have a few questions about it. Please let me know if you think it is feasible to implement the following use-case :

    A. i need to define ~90 employees, each one having own calendar, belonging to same company and
    each person must have own user/pass;

    B. user roles should be:
    B1 Admin (view&edit all events)
B2 Regular user (add new events and attache to them any number of the defined resources/people, modify events only if initiated by them or if they have been assigned by some other user )
B3 Staff ( vie all resources and booking but change only some checkmarks in the bookings)
B4 ReadOnly users (view only the scheduled events)

    C. The backend booking/event form must allow:
C1. Custom title for each event - this is already supported from the examples i see on your project page
C2. custom colour for each event, selected by the user initiating the booking
C3. some predefined checkboxes ( the ones Staff role can change, as booking template )
C4. adding multiple resources to a single event/booking, based on their availability

D1. The Calendar Timeline view must be restricted to days instead of hours
D2 The Calendar Timeline view must support filtering by employee/resources out of the entire >90 resources pool.

E1. All changes must be versioned and revertible if by mistake someone deleted a particular event

    F. Do you support 2way sync with Office 365 calendars ( ~70 of the mentioned 90 resources) ?

    G. SMS notifications for the events marked as final/approved.

    H. If i start with a single site licence of multiuser can i upgrade to multisite licence ?

Can you please let me know if all these requirements are easy to configure in the current app version in order to implement such use-case ?

    Regards,
    Cosmin

    • Hello.
      A) Probably you need to check the Booking Calendar MultiUser version.
In Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page) https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/

Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Please note, that the each owner WordPress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo. You can read more about the initial configuration of the Booking Calendar MultiUser version: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/

Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/multiuser-video-overview/

Please test the live demo of Booking Calendar Multiuser version here: https://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Admin Panel of Multiuser version (here you can test several admin panels functionality): https://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/admin-panel/

      B) Unfortunately, such users roles does not support in the Booking Calendar plugin. Booking Calendar MultiUser version support only 2 types of users: "Super booking admin user" and "Regular users". Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/

      C) Its also does not support in the "Booking Calendar". Here you have explained about the "events funcitonality", Booking Calendar plugin is more "booking system". So here in calendar possible to show available or booked dates. Its does not show at specific date (like date of event), some info about this event. In Booking Calendar such date just will be available for the booking, without any additional info (like description).
Booking form you can configure in the Booking > Settings > Form page.
You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

D1) You can show different view of timelines (including days). Please check more here https://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/timeline/
Please read more how easily insert booking form or availability calendar into a pages https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/ or how manually configure Booking Calendar shortcodes in content of your pages: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/

D2) Its does not support filtering of bookings at the Timeline at Fornt-end side. Sorry.

      E) Sorry, this feature is not supported, in actual versions, yet.

      F) Booking Calendar plugin is supporting

      - import of events via .ics feeds from Google Calendar ( or Airbnb or any other calendar that support .ics format, like iCal application)

      - and export bookings to .ics feeds (files), which possible to import in Google Calendar (or Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, FlipKey and any other calendar that uses .ics format ).

Please read more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/#sync

      Import.
Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically access this page with booking import shortcode to start import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly system will start import process and only then show booking form, when someone visit your page.
In case if you are having some issue of not ability to import new events, then check this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ics-importing-issue/

You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/

      Export.
Please check about the configuration of export .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/export-ics-feeds/
Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.

      G) The Booking Calendar do not have the SMS notifications functionality in the core of the plugin.

But you can check this plugin "Booking Calendar - Clockwork SMS" : http://wordpress.org/plugins/booking-sms/

which is work together with Booking Calendar and declare that have this functionality.

Please note, its does not our plugin and we do not support this plugin.

      H) No, such type of upgrade does not possible. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/upgrade-to-higher-version/

Please read carefully about what possible in the Booking Calendar MultiUser version at point A
You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

      Kind Regards.

  4. Recently upgraded to the newest version of Booking Medium, but now whenever anyone clicks on a date, an error box opens up reading
"Error! Request do not pass security check! Please refresh the page and try one more time."

What is causing this error that I've never had before and how can I get rid of it?

    Thank you

    • Hello.
Please recheck for any cache plugins, like “WP Super Cache”, “WP Fastest Cache” or “W3 Total Cache”. If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
      Kind Regards.

  5. Hello,
Running Small Business latest update from June 25 2019, WP 5.2.2 on PHP 7.2 although that will not matter for this question. Is it possible to enable single day and multiple as opposed to one or the other? Thanks for any insights on this.

  6. Hi
How do I get events to be displayed on front-end and appear so that little pop up appears when clicked on in public view.

    • Hello.
Please note, the Booking Calendar plugin its more "booking system" than the "events system". Its means that in calendar, the available dates just showing as select-able dates in calendar, and its does not possible to show some public info in popup relative to the available dates in calendar.

If you want to show some "booking details" at already booked dates, then check this.
      1) At front end side possible to show the booking details in mouse over tooltip in Timeline view in paid versions of Booking Calendar .
It’s the same view as in Calendar Overview page in Admin panel but in read only mode.
Please note it’s does not the inline month view calendar where you can select the date(s) for booking.
In timeline view it’s showing tooltip at the checking day of booking. Check it here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/timeline/

      2) In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to show booking details also in the inline month view calendar but only for the bookings that was made for specific time-slot. You can activate to show this tooltip at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section by setting checked this option " Show booking details in tooltip " and configure shortcodes for showing booking details for this option " Booking details ". Its works only for bookings for specific timeslot(s)! Its does not show any tooltip, if you have booked entire day.

      Kind Regards.

  7. Hello.
I have a problem with time slots. I'll try to explain:

Each resource can be booked for 3 diferent time slots:
    10:00 - 14:00h
    14:30 - 18:30h
    10:00 - 18:30h
The last option (10:00 - 18:30h) is a full day reservation.

If a client books 10:00-14:00, other client can book 14:30-18:30. But if a client books 10:00-18:30h, other time slots should not be available to reserve.

It works fine, but the style of the date is always "Partially booked". The client can not book any time slot if another client booked before the full day, but clients try as the shows the colors of the partially booked days, it leads them into error, they think they can book when it's not posible.

I checked the css classes of the TD to change colors, but they are the same, either the date is booked one time slot or full day.

    Can you help on this?
    Best regards.
    Jose

    • Hello.
Please be sure to activate the “single day selection” mode at the Booking > Settings > Form page. System have to show day as unavailable if all timeslots was booked.

Be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar. If you are using the paid version, so then You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

      Kind Regards.

      • Thanks for the quick answer.

Sorry I'm not sure if you mean the settings' page when you scroll down (http://s674918414.mialojamiento.es/form.png) or the list of fields on the Tab (http://s674918414.mialojamiento.es/form2.png). My site is in Spanish, but I don't find anything similar to “single day selection”.

I'm using Business Large SingleSite 8.4.6 (date 20.04.2019).
Should I have that option in my version? The problem if I do the update is that I changed many things in design, css, search results... and updating will change much of the work I have done (actually the website is in production, and should have to close it).

        Thanks.

        • Hello.
It’s at the Booking > Settings General page (in your admin panel). It’s only change the type of days selection. You will be able to select only 1 day in calendar.
Also please be sure that you are using the calendar for “single booking resource” capacity =1 and you do not set some maximum number of visitors per resource. It’s have to be set to 1 at the Booking > Resources page.
Or you can deactivate the “Visitors apply to capacity” option at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section.

Otherwise please send screenshots of Booking > Settings General page and Booking > Resources page to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com

              • None of the examples at https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ has a time slot for full day, so when I book, it shows partially booked, which is fine.
My problem in my web is when I book full day, it still shows the day as partially booked. And my clients can book:
                - One time slot
                - One full day time slot
                - A range of days either for one time slot or for full day

                • Hello.
You can configure different timeslots at the Booking > Settings > Form page at this live demo. For example the same as you are having.

But if you will have range days selection mode, so then system will not mark day as fully booked.
                  Kind Regards.

                  • Ok, thanks.
I understand there si no solution in this case for my problem.
Thanks again for your time and quick answers.
                    Regards

  8. Hello Support,

Thank you offering a free version of Booking Calendar.

We are a small company and we have just started to use it for conference room reservations with our clients or employee training/meetings. However, we've run into a few issues:

    1. Is it correct that in order to have staff approve/manage the rooms we must give them "Administrator" privilege in WordPress?

    2. We have setup time slots to reserve the rooms but if a meeting is scheduled to take 2 hours and we use 30 minute time slots then we can't select 4 contiguous slots while booking. We have to make 4 separate bookings. Is this a limitation of the free version or are we doing something incorrect?

    3. I'm being told that even though there are 3 rooms, once a reservation is made for a particular time slot then no one can make a reservation for the same time slot for the other 2 rooms. Are we missing something like setting up time slots per resource?

    Cordially,

    • Hello.
      1) Basically, you can crate such WordPress users with Subscriber user role.

Subscriber user roles have very limited access to the WordPress admin menu pages. Please check more here https://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/subscriber/

Just be sure that in the Booking Calendar at the Booking > Settings General page you have set the minimum user access level as subscriber for menu pages of Booking Calendar plugin. You can set it at the Booking > Settings General page in Menu plugin section.

      2) Yes, it’s limitation in Booking Calendar Free version of ability to use only timeslots. The ability to book for the specific times possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1).
In lower versions of Booking Calendar (including free version), possible to make bookings for specific times only for specific restricted time-slots.
Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.
Please watch more in this video: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-timeslots/
You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
