Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $20 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $30 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of multi site usage versions higher on $50 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Each specific version of Booking Calendar can be single site usage version, developer or multi site usage version.
Single site usage version, possible to install and activate only at 1 specific website.
Developer edition version, possible to install and activate at 2 different websites. Its can be test (developer) server and live website.
Multi site usage version, possible to install and activate maximum on 5 different websites.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Administrator can make the booking at admin panel at the "Add new booking" menu page and configure the different settings of the booking form and availability calendar at the general booking settings menu page.

Booking Calendar Personal - it's paid version, where is possible to have booking availability calendar for the each of multiple booking resources (like a room, cars or any services, etc…). You can add new and configure exist fields in the booking form. Also you can configure the email templates for the different booking actions. Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

Booking Calendar Business Medium - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you will have more advanced cost and availability management of the bookings. At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. Also you can able to configure the several customization of booking form fields, it's mean that different resources can have different form fields. Booking Calendar Business Large - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can make the several reservations per the same FULL date (not a time slot) for the same booking resource (availability calendar). At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. Also at this version you will be able to search the available booking resources in your pages or posts for the specific check in/out dates and specific number of visitors. In this version is exist also the "super booking admin users", which can see and manage the bookings and booking resources from the all users and manage the status of other bookings users.   1. Hello,
    I bought the Booking Calendar Business Large version on june 2019.
    I had created specific accounts for back office users magaging reservations, using the role of "Reservation manager" that works very well, until last week when I have installed Woocommerce.
    Since, when back office users are loggin to the /wp-login.php page, they are identified as customers of Woocommerce and are oriented to the login page of Woocommerce customers/buyers, instead of the specific page to manage reservations.
    I have desinstalled and reinstalled the last version of the Bookin calendar plugin, without change : it seems it is not a problem of application or code oh this plugin, but of parameters inside the database.
    Using the role of "Contributors" (or more, like "Administrator") that is standard but has more rights, my users can work. But it is not satisfying because of the risks that somebody could post something etc..
    How to resolve this problem without deleting Woocommerce ?

    • Hello.
      Currently Booking Calendar support only standard WordPress user roles, like subscriber, editor, administrator, author. You can define the minimum user role to access to Booking Calendar menu at the Booking > Settings General page.
      Other custom user roles does not supported. Sorry.

      We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin.

    I have just integrated a new gateway payment manually called Redsys to play with credit card directly in my country, BUT when i come back to my web, the booking doesn't appear like Paid OK like Paypal gateway does.
    How can implement that in my custom payment gateway? It is very important to finish my web.

      The different payment systems have the different ways of updating (responding back to your website) data about successful or failed payments. You can check in Stripe how it’s was done in those payment systems. Function relative to response.

      Your payment system can have fully different way of doing this. Unfortunately we can not help with such personal customization.
      Unfortunately we can not start, right now, some personal customization or custom development, because almost have no free time.

  3. Right, I understand, but Paypal have implemented the functionality I am asking, I just want to know which file implements that functionality. After that i will try to understand the code, in some moment, it should be an access to the database, to update the record.

      By default the response have to be to the wpbc_response.php file, which is located in the same folder, where all other payment gateways folders.
      And then function which is located in your gateway file have to update the payment status.

        Create the form to send was easy because of the Redsys documentation.
        The response was quite more complex.
        I update the payment status in the table prefix_booking and after that, i make an autoapproval with:
        wpbc_auto_approve_booking($booking_id);

      In your case in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions , you can use start time and time duration shortcodes:

      Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes.     I have create a Resource selector with:

    -Resource 1 . Time Selection, with start and end time. 20€ per hour
    -Resource 2 . Time Selection, with start and end time. 20€ per hour
    -Group of 10 Resources. Day selection. 30€ per day

    Well, I realized that setting cost per day and then calculate prices to all resources or set cost per hour and calculate prices again is the same thing.
    But i have a problem, I have checked Time impact to cost "Check this box if you want the time selection on the booking form applied to the cost calculation"

    With the time selection there is no problem, but with the group, when I select only one day, 60€ Cost appear(bad) instead of 30€.
    If i add another day 60€(good) continues, and if i add a third day, 90€(good) appear.

    I realised that if the cost is per hour, the day selection (group) NOT working well, but not time
    If cost is per day and check box, day selection NOT working well, but time yes
    if cost is per day and not check box, day selection(group) working well but not time

    Question, it is possible to use both type of calendars?

      It’s does not possible to set different cost, like cost per 1 day or cost per 1 hour for the different booking resources. It’s global option.

      You just need to be sure to not use times selection at all in the booking form for group bookings. Or you can try to use timeslot like this
      [select rangetime “All day@@00:00 - 23:59”]

    It's a global option, that's why you can have to the cost of the resource different to do what you want to do.
    For example.
    In cost per day
    You want a resource for 20€ hour, so the cost per day has to be 480€ = 20 x 24hours

    In cost per hour
    You want a resource for 20€ hour, so the cost per hour has to be 20€. Thats all.

    In that way, there is no problem, the real problem is....
    Are you telling me that I can't have both types of form (time, day) dependent of the resource selected?
    All the resources with Hours selection OR all the resources with Day selection?

    For me it's a very BIG problem! I have to types of spaces in a Coworking company. one for time selection and another for all day selection, my only problem is the small issue when you select only one day.

      1) You need to open the Booking > Settings > Payment page and Set cost “per 1 day” and set checked this option “Time impact to cost”.

      2) Then at the Booking > Settings > Form page for the custom booking form for resource where you need to make booking for full days you need to use this selectbox for booking entire day:

      [select rangetime “Full day@@00:00 - 23:59”]

      In other custom booking forms you can use other times selection shortcode.

      Unfortunately it’s does not possible. Sorry. Actual inline calendar is core component of Booking Calendar and it’s does not possible to replace it to other datepicker. It’s because much functionality, like range days selection, change over days, etc... based on this calendar.

    2 questions:

    -Pending color in calendar, is not working for a group resource, is it? I have checked in individual resource and is working.
    -How to put one resource with no capacity? i mean, people can book the same thing, always...

      1) Pending colors for booking resources with specific capacity will start working when the number of bookings per specific days will reach the capacity of booking resource. Otherwise the days will be showing as available.
      2) Unfortunately it’s does not possible to activate the “unlimited number of bookings” only to specific booking resource. It’s global option and it’s will apply to all booking resources.

      • For pending in group resource: If quantity is more than 1, appears like available, if quantity is 0, appears like booked, even if the bookings are not approved.

        When the resource is single, is working well.
