Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $20 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $30 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of multi site usage versions higher on $50 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Each specific version of Booking Calendar can be single site usage version, developer or multi site usage version.
Single site usage version, possible to install and activate only at 1 specific website.
Developer edition version, possible to install and activate at 2 different websites. Its can be test (developer) server and live website.
Multi site usage version, possible to install and activate maximum on 5 different websites.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Administrator can make the booking at admin panel at the "Add new booking" menu page and configure the different settings of the booking form and availability calendar at the general booking settings menu page.

Booking Calendar Personal - it's paid version, where is possible to have booking availability calendar for the each of multiple booking resources (like a room, cars or any services, etc…). You can add new and configure exist fields in the booking form. Also you can configure the email templates for the different booking actions. Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

Booking Calendar Business Medium - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you will have more advanced cost and availability management of the bookings. At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. In this version is exist also the "super booking admin users", which can see and manage the bookings and booking resources from the all users and manage the status of other bookings users.     Just wondering what happens to the bookings that are showing in the booking list page that have completed their stay. All the booking details vanish after the completion date. Firstly, where does all the info go, and secondly, can I retrieve and store all the details in a file somewhere for future reference? Future sale prices, etc.

Hi i have free version installed, good plugin, last week i change hosting provider and pointing the new MX registry for the corporate email (with gsiute), and now the plugin doesn't function whit my corporate mail; i proove installed plugin in other wordpress with the same corporate mail and evreything is good the notification is recived in corporate mail. So my corporate mail is good but with my website after hosting migration doesn't work. I already uninstall wiht delete data check the plugin, and install again but don´t send notification mail to my corporate mail.

    How i can fix this, what folders i must delete, or cache?

      Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.

      The most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is ‘sending emails via php’ option and it can resolve that issue.

  3. Hello,
    Is it possible to preselect the booking resource in the dropdown list of resources on the bookingselect form?

    For example, I want to be able to send a user via a link (oursite.com/bookingcalendar?resourceid=2 or oursite.com/bookingcalendar?resourceid=3, etc...) to the bookingselect form but have the dropdown value set to the resource ID from the url.

    I know you can pre-select this within the short code if you know what resource to display but we only want one page to manage instead of one for each resource.

    So is there a way to pull the selected_type parameter from the url that loads the page?

    I have plugin installed on my site. Since changing dates to 2020, all prices went to 0 € even though prices in Season Filters are all set and should be displayed.
    Can you help me with resolving this issue?

      Please recheck that you have selected dates in 2020 for your exist season filters at the Booking > Resources > Filters page,
      Or in case if you was created new season filters for 2020 at the Booking > Resources > Filters page, so then please be sure that you have enabled the Rates for these season filters at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page at Rates section - checkboxes near each specific rate must be checked.

    When I set the form to be at the right side of the calendar, the calendar itself gets shrinked. If the form is bellow it looks OK, but I need it to be on the side. What can I do?

  6. I am trying to use the booking Calendar for rental of a boat just during the summer months. I have no problem with the duration of the calendar (6months) but I don't know how to set the period to start in May. It is defaulting to January 2020.
    How can I chose a start month for the booking period.
    I have the latest versions of WP, PHP and the booking Calendar.

    I have the calendar configurate it's depend of the season automatically select 3, 5 or 7 seven days.
    With this shortcode:

    But if the client need more days in the seasons, he can't select more.

  8. Plugin Version: Business Large SingleSite 8.7.1
    Hi, I have auto-approval of reservations, and I need only one email to be sent.
    Right now, each time a user submits a reservation there are two emails sent:
    a) New booking
    b) Booking approved

    I need to:
    1) Disable either a) or b) so only one emails gets to the user
    2) Configure the subject (ex: "New booking") for that email since all content is in Spanish and plugin is configured in Spanish too.
    3) Also, both emails come from "Booking system", how do I change that?

      1) You can deactivate the “New (visitor)” email at the Booking > Settings > Emails page, in this case.
      2) You can configure “Subject” at the Booking > Settings > Emails page in “Approved” email template, field - “Subject”.
      3) You need to configure field “From” for correct email address there.

  9. Hello,
    In my bookings the client pay the deposit 30% to do the reservation. And then when i send email to pay the rest of booking, the money that appears to make the payment is the same deposit and not the remaining 70%. I need that appears the rest of payment, is possible?

    I have another problem with the edit reservation of clients. I do all the steps to configure the page to edit bookings but when i click the link in email, don't appear the booking to edit, only that say: "You have not marked any parameters for editing the reservation"

    • Hello.
      1) You need to edit the cost of the booking at the Booking Listing page, before sending "Payment request" for payment balance.
      Here is little instruction about MANUAL sending payment request for payment balance (rest from the sum).

      Please read firstly this article about the correct configuration of the "payment link" : http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-editing-cancel-payment-bookings-for-visitors/

      Then open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and configure and set active the "Payment request" email.

      At the admin panel (if you was activated deposit payment) at the booking listing page for the specific booking you will see in the cost field the FULL cost, but inside of the "notes section" (you can activate it by pressing the note button at the right side of the each section), you will see the description similar to this:

      Total cost: $135.00 / deposit: $54.00, balance: $81.00 / - 11.11.2020

      If you are want to request from the visitor to pay THE SPECIFIC sum, you are need to make these steps:

      a) Edit the cost of the booking, and enter the sum, which will show at the payment form.
      You are need to change the cost and then press the save button to save the new cost.

      b) Press the send payment request button to send the email with link to the payment form for the specific booking.

      2) You need to configure correctly [bookingedit] shortcode. Please check this FAQ instruction how to configure ability to edit or cancel own booking(s) of visitor, who made these booking(s): https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-editing-cancel-payment-bookings-for-visitors/

      • I resolve the pproblems, but I think that the rest of payment It should look directly when you send the payment request, without having to change the cost. I think it's something that should improve.

        Other cuestion. If the client makes a modification in booking and add more days, the deposit does not recalculate what I had previously paid from deposit and what I would have to pay extra for those extra days. And in the case of booking fewer days, you should subtract that money.
        Is there any way to recalculate? or is it not possible?

          You can activate this option "Update cost, after booking editing in admin panel" at the Booking > Settings > Payment page in Payment options section, if you want to update cost after editing booking in admin panel, based on new booking data.

    we rent a house for a maximum of 8 people. how can I set this if the house is booked for 1 or 2 - 3 people, then is shown as booked in the calendar?

      If you need to show day as available, until all 8 spaces will booking resources booked for specific dates, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large or higher version.
      If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots).       At this version possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But its possible to make booking only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only saved as data into database, but do not apply to availability logic).
