Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $20 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $30 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of multi site usage versions higher on $50 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Each specific version of Booking Calendar can be single site usage version, developer or multi site usage version.
Single site usage version, possible to install and activate only at 1 specific website.
Developer edition version, possible to install and activate at 2 different websites. Its can be test (developer) server and live website.
Multi site usage version, possible to install and activate maximum on 5 different websites.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Administrator can make the booking at admin panel at the "Add new booking" menu page and configure the different settings of the booking form and availability calendar at the general booking settings menu page.

Booking Calendar Personal - it's paid version, where is possible to have booking availability calendar for the each of multiple booking resources (like a room, cars or any services, etc…). You can add new and configure exist fields in the booking form. Also you can configure the email templates for the different booking actions. Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

Booking Calendar Business Medium - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you will have more advanced cost and availability management of the bookings. At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. Also you can able to configure the several customization of booking form fields, it's mean that different resources can have different form fields. You can send the payment requests to visitors for the specific booking by email. And much more.... Booking Calendar Business Large - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can make the several reservations per the same FULL date (not a time slot) for the same booking resource (availability calendar). At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. Also at this version you will be able to search the available booking resources in your pages or posts for the specific check in/out dates and specific number of visitors. Booking Calendar MultiUser - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus each registered WordPress user of your site can have independent, individual, own booking admin panel. It's mean that each regular registered WordPress user can see only OWN booking resources and bookings and can configure the own booking form fields and email templates, own payment form integration data and costs of booking resources as some other settings... In this version is exist also the "super booking admin users", which can see and manage the bookings and booking resources from the all users and manage the status of other bookings users.   1. I want to set specific days at different trading hours (some days 9am - 5pm; other days 11am - 7pm) and patients to book hourly appointments. I also want to take payment in £ (GBP). Can this be done?

  2. Hi, we are using Booking Calendar Business Large. I would like to make a customization (even if I have to touch the code) to enable the following:
    If the there re any existing bookings for a particular date for one resource, make this day unavilable for other resources, too (no matter if the capacity is still available).

    Thanks a lot for any hints, I also appreciate hints regarding the source code.

    • Hello.
      You can make dates as unavailable in one calendar, is such dates was booked in other calendar, by using aggregate parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode.
      Please read how manually to configure Booking Calendar shortcodes here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/

      For example if you are having these 2 calendars with ID like these:
      at the Booking > Resources page:

      ID = 1   -- Calendar A 
      ...
      ID = 5   -- Calendar B
      ...
      

      so then for first calendar you need to use this shortcode:

      [booking type=1 nummonths=2 aggregate='5']

      and for other calendar use this shortcode:

      [booking type=5 nummonths=2 aggregate='1']

    We need the summary with the total amount of the reservation and the buttons with the purchase option on the imported reservation form. how do i set it up?

      Unfortunately, during import process, such info does not possible to show. Sorry.

      Booking summary possible to show only, during creation new booking at the front-end side, after clicking on "Send" button before showing payment system forms.
      You can activate this summary at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

Hi Im having major problems, I set up my calendar with my booking form on the right side, but the booking form is overlapping my calendar (https://prnt.sc/qm3b5p) and have found no other issues, I followed the setup properly with the proper code: [booking type=1 nummonths=2 form_type='standard']

    • Hello.
      Its seems because of CSS conflict with some other plugin or theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.

      Otherwise please send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.

  6. Hi,
    I'm using the plugin for my website and I'm syncing Airbnb and Booking.com with it. The import of Airbnb/Booking.com works fine, but I do have a problem with the export. When I export the date with the ics file and import it in Airbnb, it exports ALL of it. Also the dates of Airbnb which has been important in the Website before. So after that in Airbnb Calender e.g. blocked dates are now blocked dates from the Website's Calender. So it exports all, not only the new bookings which have been made with Booking Calender.

    Is it possible to export ONLY new Bookings from the Website in Airbinb/Booking.com? Or do I have an error in reasoning?

      Unfortunately, its does not possible to "export ONLY new Bookings from the Website in Airbinb/Booking.com".
      Plugin support exporting all bookings, does not depend where such bookings was made (created in the Booking Calendar or imported from some other .ics source).

    I am a beginner when it comes to wordpress. I need to use your bookings plugin and I added it into the site. But it looks wrong...its too small and I don't know how to change its size to stretch across the page. Also I need to change the colours.

      1) You can define the size of the calendar in the Booking Calendar shortcode, during inserting it into the post or page. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/#booking-options

      For example:

      [booking type=1 nummonths=2 options='{calendar months_num_in_row=2 width=100% cell_height=40px}']

      2) You can select the different calendar skins at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section. If you need to customize your own calendar colors, so then you can do this in CSS file. please follow this FAQ instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/change-skin-and-colors/

      3) The bookings for specific timeslots possible even in the Booking Calendar Free version ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/booking/ ).

      But I recommend to check the Booking Calendar Business Small version, as well.

      The ability to book for the specific times possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1).
      In lower versions of Booking Calendar (including free version), possible to make bookings for specific times only for specific restricted time-slots.

      Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes.     (for your information: my resources are 5 rental cars, all are exactly the same type of car)

    Can you please be so kind to tell me if your calendar can do the following?:

    1) I saw that you can display the number of resources available when you hover over the calendar day, my question:
    can you shade the calendar day e.g. yellow when only one resource is left on a given day? (I assume red shading for no resources left is already a feature 😉

    2) Can you set a discount of say 10% on the total price which is only applied when somebody books a resources for say 7 days or longer?

    3) Can you set another discount of say 10% on the total price which is applied when somebody books two or more resources at the same time?

    4) Do 2 and 3 stack up ? (so if somebody books two resources for longer than 7 days they get 20% discount on the final price?

    I am having trouble with setting up Paypal with your plugin.

    Paiements work fine, but the redirection is never done on the page I stated in backoffice AND in Paypal account.

    To resume what I've done :
    I created a "Paiement success" page for my website.
    In the settings of the plugin, under the Advanced Settings in Payment - Paypal, I stated in the input "Return URL from Paypal" (for success paiement) the URL of this page I created.
    I also configure, in my Paypal Account, that users must be redirect after paiement, and put the same URL there.

    Nevertheless, any success paiement from Paypal always redirect me to this kind of url : /wp-content/plugins/booking.bl.8.7.2/inc/gateways/wpbc-response.php?payed_booking=31&wp_nonce=157902588827.12&pay_sys=paypal&stats=OK

    I don't understand what I did wrong...
    Can you help me with that ?

      Basically its correct URL "/wp-content/plugins/booking.bl.8.7.2/inc/gateways/wpbc-response.php?payed_booking=31&wp_nonce=157902588827.12&pay_sys=paypal&stats=OK"
      But before this "/wp-content/" must be something like https://your-website.com/
      So full URL have to be like this https://your-website.com/wp-content/plugins/booking.bl.8.7.2/inc/gateways/wpbc-response.php?payed_booking=31&wp_nonce=157902588827.12&pay_sys=paypal&stats=OK

      And after visitor redirect to that page, after then its will be redirected to the "Success page" from your settings.
      Please recheck once again that you do not configured anywhere of trimming URL of your website.

        Yes there is the URL of my website prefixed to what I copied to you but I didn't wanted to share it publicly in my first message.

        The thing is this page is "nothing", so my users get an error/page not found everytime paiement through Paypal is over, instead of being redirected to "Paiement Success".
        That is my problem.

        I made multiple tests and I never get redirected to success page.
        Can you help me with that ?

          1) Can you recheck about the any JavaScript errors, when you redirect to this page: ../inc/gateways/wpbc-response.php?payed_booking=.. ?
          Also recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors.
          If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

          2) Because usually just after redirection to this page ../inc/gateways/wpbc-response.php?payed_booking=..
          you have to be redirected to the "Success" or "Failed" page.
          That first page, required for rechecking about the status of payment, approving o declining of booking.

            There are no Javscript error while redirecting from Paypal, neither any error.log logs for those events.
            Still, my success paiement are going to a 404 error page with this URL : [mywebsiteadresse.fr]/wp-content/plugins/booking.bl.8.7.2/inc/gateways/wpbc-response.php?payed_booking=32&wp_nonce=157918272192.54&pay_sys=paypal&stats=OK

            Totally by hazard, I updated the page (f5) after getting the 404 page from redirection of PayPal, and then I get the success paiement page. So it sounds like redirection is not made totallly, which is really strange.

            Do you have any idea what that could be from ?

                I don't have Javascript errors. And I don't have error.logs errors either.
                I'll try to contact my server support but I never had a similar problem before and this is not the first time I'm using Paypal/redirection to thank you/success page so I highly doubt this is a problem from that side.
