I'm using business large
The pricing is per night. When making a booking I put a start date and end date. But the capacity is not taken off the arrival day. How can I correct this
Hello.
1) If you enabled the using change over days at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings General page in “Calendar” section or In case if you use the start and end times in the booking form, then it can be reason why the start and end dates not have decrease capacity after the booking.
Basically the capacity decrease, but only for the booked time interval on those dates.
You should make the bookings for full dates to make the decrease of the capacity for all selected dates.
2) Other reason can be that you enabled option “set checkout date as available “ at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings General page in “Calendar” section.
3) For detailed instructions on configuring capacity and availability for booking resources and to watch a video about this feature, refer to this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/
Thank you for the information. If I disenable "make checkout day available" it counts the checkout day off the calendar, but charges the correct amount of nights stay. If I enable "make checkout day available" it takes the correct capacity off the booking calendar, but it then misses a nights charge. Our tariffs are per night, so I cant change to per day mode.
Hello.
1) You need to configure that system it calculates correct capacity, relative to your needs.
2) Then open the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Payment Setup page and change costs per days to cost per nights (or vice versa).
Kind Regards.
I've sorted it out
Hello,
How can I change the amount of guests?
If i go to resources -> Capacity I am presented with this:
https://snipboard.io/StFbYi.jpg
And pressing the Single button nothing happens.
Does single mean they are set to 1 guest? thanks
Hello.
1) Please check this FAQ guide about how to define the capacity for the booking resource (calendar).
For detailed instructions on configuring capacity and availability for booking resources check here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/
2) The number of visitors to select you can configure in the booking form at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page.
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields. You can start from one of predefined form templates: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/setup-booking-form-started-with-template/
3) In case if you need to have the different number of visitors to select for the different booking resources (calendars), then create multiple custom booking forms with different number of visitors selection at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page.
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#custom-forms
You can create several custom booking forms at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page by clicking on "Add new Custom Form" button. Find more information at this FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/different-booking-forms-for-different-booking-resources/
Has anyone been able to get terms and conditions scrollable on the actual registration form rather than it being a link to a different page? Need something to actually be between the registration and the payment gateway so no one can complain after the fact that they are being introduced to terms and conditions they weren't aware of...
Hello.
For the long Terms and conditions text in the booking form, you can use this code, while you configure the booking form in Advanced form mode (paid versions).
Example:
Kind Regards.
Is there any way to introduce conditional fields to the booking form? For example, if you select that you have a pet, you then have to accept the Terms and Conditions for bringing a pet... but if you don't have a pet, the Terms and Conditions for bringing a pet are not required or relevant so are not required to be shown...
Hello.
Unfortunately, Booking Calendar does not support conditional fields, yet. Sorry.
Kind Regards.

my main question was where could i possibly put these files and folders?
to the theme's css part or where?
Hello.
If you installed your paid version Booking Calendar plugin into this folder ../wp-content/plugins/booking/
then you need to create a new payment folder here
If the folder of your paid Booking Calendar version has the different name, like booking.bs.10.10.2 then use this:
etc..
Hi, I have two different resources but each require different type of booking. One is a meeting room, where I would want to provide customers with hourly bookings per day and the other is a working space where I need the customers to book whole days only, no hourly options.
Is it possible to have different booking settings for each resources? So far I see only global calendar settings that is shared between resources but that is not what suits my case unfortunately.
Hello.
Such configuration possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
1) In this version of Booking Calendar you can configure 2 differnt booking forms for your 2 booking resources. You can have one booking form with time slots and other without time slots for the full day bookings.
In case if you need to have several different booking forms with different form fields configurations, then it’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#custom-forms
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/custom-booking-forms-video-overview/
2) If you need to configure the different type of days selection in calendars at the different pages, then you can make it via JavaScript variables before Booking Calendar shortcodes. Please check more about this configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/advanced-javascript-for-the-booking-shortcodes/
I'm using the plugin to book stalls at a weekly friday market, but it's only allowing 1 booking per day and I'm unable to edit the resource capacity to allow 20 bookings per day. My resources screen doesn't look like the one in the video and doesn't have any other options except to add new resoruces, so I cannot see the 'Expand advanced toolbar' option.
I would also like to cut off bookings at midday on wednesdays (ie 36 hours before) for the friday market, but I can't see an option to do so.

Hello.
What version of the Booking Calendar do you use ?
In the Booking Calendar Business Large version, you can set capacities for your booking resources either for the entire day or for specific times within a day. This means you can control the number of bookings allowed for each day or for specific time slots. Learn more about this feature https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
For example, you could specify that your booking resource can accommodate up to 10 bookings per day in a specific calendar. Alternatively, if you use time fields in the booking form, each time slot can accommodate up to 10 bookings per day. This flexibility allows you to manage bookings effectively, whether they are for full days or specific times.
Explore this feature in the live demo https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/
For detailed instructions on configuring capacity and availability for booking resources and to watch a video about this feature, refer to this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/
I'm using Biz Large.
When the customer gets to modify the booking, it appears as a new payment is required, regardless of whether the payment status is successful or if the booking has been confirmed. This means duplicate payment upon a modification of booking.
However, when admin modifies the booking, then no new payment is required. Is this correct?
Is there a way to not have duplicate payment required if a booking is modified by the customer?
Hello.
"Is there a way to not have duplicate payment required if a booking is modified by the customer?"
I will add this feature to the to-do list for having it in future updates of the plugin, but I can not say when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.
Kind Regards.
Hello Team,
1.) I just would like to change the Calender Design/Skin. When changing to one of the available standard ones on 'Calendar Design' e.g. light24_8_green_2 - nothing happend. Any idea? Do I need to configure that somewhere individually ? (I have a Medium Licence)
2.) Any change to build a Search function in the Support ?
It is impossible to read through the all Posts first....
Many thanks in advance
Ortwin
Hello.
1) Please change the calendar skin and click on save changes.
Please clear all minimized CSS and JavaScript files and cached pages or posts.
Test it.
Otherwise Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason of this issue.
2) Search we will fix.
Kind Regards.
