  1. Hello,

My client has the need to offer three different pricings for three different services. With your paid version, can I create a single calendar that changes tariffs according to the service required?

Es in, on the calendar you can pick booking of type 1 has these prices, booking of type 2 has these ones and booking of the third type has yet different prices for all the dates.

    Please let me know

    I can rephrase if needed

    Have a great day
    Lorenzo

  2. Hi,

I have a Business medium version of WP Booking calender. I want to set different things for different seasons, for example, in my high season it is a minimum of 6 nights always starting on a Saturday or Sunday. Low season is a minimum of 3 nights possible to check in on any day. It appears however that I can only make such a setting for general availability and not per season. I have already successfully identified my high and low seasons for the correct months but the minimum amount of nights and specific check in dates I cannot find.

    • Hello.

It's possible to set the different duration of days selection depending from week days or seasons during a year in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
      Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#advanced-days-selection
Read more about this configuration (at options parameter section) here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/#booking-options-condition

  3. How can I set the calendar width? The default is too narrow, looks ridicilous.

Found the setting for form width, but no setting for calendar??? Where have you hidden this setting? Why isn't it in the Calendar settings???

    • Hello,

You can define the calendar width directly within the Booking Calendar shortcode. For more details, please refer to this documentation: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/

Please note that if the calendar appears too narrow by default, it may be due to a CSS conflict with your current theme or because the width of the outer DIV container where the shortcode was inserted is too narrow.

      Best regards,

  4. Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue with the booking details popover on my timeline calendar view.

When I click on a booking in the timeline, the popup window with booking details no longer appears. Previously, this was working correctly and would display the booking information in a popover.

The option "Booking details in popover - Check this box if you want to show popover with booking details in timeline at front-end side" is activated in the settings

I'm using the latest version of the plugin. Could you please help me identify why the popover is no longer displaying? This functionality was working before and I haven't made any changes to the calendar configuration.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    • Hello.
This feature was disabled by default in the paid versions of Booking Calendar to prevent the unintended exposure of booking data.
Following an extensive discussion with the Wordfence team (which mentioned this issue), we decided to block this functionality by default to ensure maximum data security, as the majority of our users prefer not to display these details publicly.

If you really need to activate this feature, please follow these steps:

      1) Please be sure to use latest update of Booking Calendar Free version and latest update of Pro version. You can request the new update of Booking Calendar Pro on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

      2) To re-enable the front-end view, you will need to declare an additional constant in your wp-config.php file as follows:

      define( 'WPBC_DISABLE_POPOVER_IN_TIMELINE', false );

      Kind Regards.

  5. Can a person's booking first name and the initial of their last name show on the dates they have reserved? This way, when users hover over the date, a tooltip can appear with this information.

  6. Is it possible to reset the Resource ID back to one?

I have been doing a lot of testing and now would like to reset it back to one.

    • Hello.
It is possible only in case if you will make the full reinstall of the plugin with all bookings and settings reseting.

For this please open WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Advanced > Uninstall / Deactivation page and enable this option "Delete booking data during deactivation of plugin" . Click the save changes button.

Then open the WordPress plugins menu and click on the "Deactivate" link. Wait for the message that the plugin is deactivated successfully.

After this Click on "Activate" link of Booking Calendar plugin and wait for the message that plugin is activated successfully.

      After this test it again.

  7. How can I show calculation or breakdown of total payable amount?
Can I show break down for example some booked a room for 10 days so can I show for per day its $150 and you booked for 10 days so its 1500?

    • Hello.
      1) The ability to show the total booking cost in booking form, after selecting the dates or some other options in the booking form, possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
You need to use this [cost_hint] shortcode in the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page to show this total booking cost in real time depending from the selection of dates and some other options in booking form.
      Test it here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/

      2) You can check all available cost hints here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cost-dates-and-other-hint-shortcodes-advnced-mode/

For example you can use this shortcode

      [bookingresource show='cost'] — Resource cost.

which will show the standard cost per 1 day,
and the total booking cost you can show via [cost_hint] shortcode.

Such functionality available in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
      Kind Regards.

  8. I have a few questions regarding pricing setup. (I have paid version, medium)

    1. Weekend pricing
If I want to set a custom price for the whole weekend (Friday–Sunday) as a total of 200 €, how can I configure this?
In other words, instead of a nightly price, I want one fixed price that covers Fri–Sun together.

    2. Optional services shown only when selected
I have optional add-on services with prices defined. How can I configure the price summary (using cost_hints) so that it only shows the price of an add-on if that specific service has been selected?

For example, I have these add-ons:

    Sauna (checkbox)

    Hot tub (checkbox)

If the customer selects only Sauna, I want the price summary to show:

    Sauna 120 €

But I do not want the summary to show:

    Hot tub 0 €

So the Hot tub row should not be visible at all unless it is selected.

    3. Different prices for members and non-members
I would like to have separate pricing for members and non-members. For example:

    A member pays 30 € per night instead of 80 €

Sauna costs 80 € for members, a different price for non-members, etc.

How can I define different prices for members and non-members?
Is it possible to do this using one booking calendar and one booking form, or do they need to be separated?

    • Hello,
You’re on the right track with Booking Calendar Business Medium.
Before we go into pricing: for a “weekend package” (Fri–Sun as one fixed price), it’s important to force the correct date selection pattern in the calendar. Otherwise visitors can select only 1–2 days and the package price will not apply correctly.
To do that, please use the Advanced Days Selection rules in the booking shortcode (options=...) so visitors can select exactly the required number of days (e.g., 3 days for Fri–Sun), and (optionally) restrict which weekday can be the start day.
      Official syntax and examples:
      https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/

      1) Weekend pricing (Fri–Sun total = 200 €)

Step A - Force selecting Fri–Sun as exactly 3 days
If your “weekend” should always be Fri–Sun (3 selected days), add the select-day rule to your booking shortcode. Example (Friday = 5):

      [booking resource_id=1 form_type='standard' nummonths=2 options='{select-day condition="weekday" for="5" value="3"}']

This means: when the selection starts on Friday, the user must select exactly 3 days (Fri–Sun).

If you want to allow ONLY weekend packages (i.e., prevent starting on other weekdays), use the season-based approach with {start-day ...} (because start-day works with seasons):

Create a Season Filter (for example: WeekendPackage) that covers the dates where this rule must apply (often the whole year).
      Use this shortcode:

      [booking resource_id=1 form_type='standard' nummonths=2 options='{select-day condition="season" for="WeekendPackage" value="3"},{start-day condition="season" for="WeekendPackage" value="5"}']

      This combination enforces:
      Start day = Friday
Number of selected days = 3

      Step B - Set price = 200 € for “exactly 3 selected days”
Now you can set the cost as a fixed price for the entire stay using Duration-Based Costs:

Go to: WP Booking Calendar - Prices - Daily Costs - Duration-Based Costs

Create a rule for 3 selected days and set it as a fixed total cost, for example:

Together 3 days = 200 EUR if check-in day in "FridaySeason"

Be sure to have the "Friday season" on he WP Booking Calendar - Prices - Seasons page, where you defined all Fridays

Tip: Fri–Sun is 3 selected days and usually 2 nights - you can verify it in the booking form using: [days_number_hint] and [nights_number_hint]

      2) Optional services: show in summary only if selected (no “Hot tub 0€”)

In Business Medium you can assign prices to checkbox/select options here:
WP Booking Calendar - Prices - Form Options Costs

Step A - Add checkbox fields in the booking form (Advanced mode)
      Example:

      Sauna: [checkbox sauna ""]
      Hot tub: [checkbox hot_tub ""]

Then set their costs in Form Options Costs, for example:

      sauna = 120
      hot_tub = 120

Step B - Show add-on costs in the form using *_hint shortcodes
You can display the calculated cost for each option by using the field name + _hint:

      Sauna: [sauna_hint]
      Hot tub: [hot_tub_hint]

Important: Booking Calendar can show these hint values, but hiding the entire “row” (label + hint) when not selected usually requires a small JS/CSS tweak (because the text label is still printed). If you want, send me how your summary block is built (plain text lines or HTML), and I’ll provide a ready snippet that hides the row when the checkbox is not selected.

      3) Different prices for members vs non-members

This can be configured using the same Form Options Costs approach as in point #2 - by adding a selector in the booking form and configuring an additional cost for the selected option.
Please note: Form Options Costs adds an additional cost to the booking total. It does not directly replace the base “Daily Costs” value, but you can apply an adjustment as a percentage of the original booking cost.
      Example booking form field:

      Users: [select usertype "Members" "Non-members"]

Then configure at WP Booking Calendar - Prices - Form Options Costs like this:

      usertype:
      Members = 100%
      Non-members = 110%

In this example, Non-members pay 10% more than Members.

      Kind Regards.
