Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $20 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $30 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of multi site usage versions higher on $50 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Each specific version of Booking Calendar can be single site usage version, developer or multi site usage version.
Single site usage version, possible to install and activate only at 1 specific website.
Developer edition version, possible to install and activate at 2 different websites. Its can be test (developer) server and live website.
Multi site usage version, possible to install and activate maximum on 5 different websites.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Administrator can make the booking at admin panel at the "Add new booking" menu page and configure the different settings of the booking form and availability calendar at the general booking settings menu page.

Booking Calendar Personal - it's paid version, where is possible to have booking availability calendar for the each of multiple booking resources (like a room, cars or any services, etc…). You can add new and configure exist fields in the booking form. Also you can configure the email templates for the different booking actions. You can able to edit the exist bookings, add comments to the bookings, print and export bookings to the CSV format, etc… Please check at the feature list and live demo of this version, full list of features of this version.

Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

Booking Calendar Business Medium - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you will have more advanced cost and availability management of the bookings. At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. Also you can able to configure the several customization of booking form fields, it's mean that different resources can have different form fields. You can send the payment requests to visitors for the specific booking by email. And much more.... Booking Calendar Business Large - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can make the several reservations per the same FULL date (not a time slot) for the same booking resource (availability calendar). At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. Also at this version you will be able to search the available booking resources in your pages or posts for the specific check in/out dates and specific number of visitors. Booking Calendar MultiUser - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus each registered WordPress user of your site can have independent, individual, own booking admin panel. It's mean that each regular registered WordPress user can see only OWN booking resources and bookings and can configure the own booking form fields and email templates, own payment form integration data and costs of booking resources as some other settings... In this version is exist also the "super booking admin users", which can see and manage the bookings and booking resources from the all users and manage the status of other bookings users.     It's basically 4 vans, 1 master with 3 children, each with a capacity of 1. Vans can be booked out on a daily basis. We are using the setting "Unavailable days from today" set to 28 days.

    I'm trying to prevent a user from being able to book the next day by checking "Unavailable time before / after booking" and "After booking" set to 1 day. I have also activated the "Use check in/out time" but i can't get this to work. Does it only work on resources with a capacity greater than 1?

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately, this feature "Unavailable time before / after booking" and "After booking" set to 1 day" is working only for the "single booking resources",
      or for "child booking resources" which you have inserted separately into the booking form (basically its showing as single booking resources).

      This feature is not working for the "parent booking resources" with specific capacity. Sorry.

      You can create several single booking resources (4 single booking resources), and define selection of booking resources like in this example https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/select-resource/, so then its will work.

      But its means that your visitor need to select firstly specific "Van" and only after this see the calendar with availability for specific Van.

    Можно ли применить ваш функционал для 12-ти дорожек?
    Т.е. должно быть отображено 12 дорожек на весь день с шагом в 30 минут. Подобный
    график должен быть на 2 месяца вперед. Также интересует возможность оплаты с сайта

    Есть ли примеры использования именно для бронирования нескольких дорожек боулинга?

      1) Please note, curently support and communications possible only in English via emails or at support plugin forum. Thank you for understanding.

      2) You will be need to have 12 different calendars for each of your bowling alley.
      At front end side you will be have different calendars with booking forms or selection of booking resources like here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/

      3) The ability to book for the specific times possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1).
      In lower versions of Booking Calendar (including free version), possible to make bookings for specific times only for specific restricted time-slots.
      Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes.       4) The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support Stripe, PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL via Sisow and iPay88 payment gateways integration, other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

  4. In the Timeline view, I would like users to be able to see all the details of other users' bookings (especially their names). It seems like this is possible from the video help.

    Am I missing a setting? Or do I need a premium version? Or something else?

  5. Hi,
    Our accomodation has to be book for 3 nights minimum, and the day of check-out, the accomodation need to appear as bookable in the calendar.

    I tried to check the option "delete from booking the last day of reservation", but the result was that my reservation was reduce to 2 nights instead of 3, and the checkout date on the reservation and in the mail is one day before it should be.
    Even if I tried to set up 4 nights instead of 3 (to have last deleted then), it still appear as being 2 nights so it's not working.

    Can you explain to me how I can make to block my minimum stay to be of 3 NIGHTS and that the last day (day of checkout) is bookable ?

      1) Basically if you activated this option "Set check out date as available" at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section, so then you need to set the minimum number of days to select as 4 days.
      Also please be sure that you have deactivated this option: "Use check in / out times".
      2) Otherwise you need to activate the this option "Use check in / out times" and deactivate this option "Set check out date as available" at the Booking > Settings General page.         I am having a problem with that. We do have 4 days selected as a minimum number of days, but as soon as I check the "Set check out date as available", it indicate in the booking process that people are only booking for 2 nights, which should be 3 nights.

        What am I doing wrong ?

        I will try the time settings if I got no other solutions.

    I wanted to know if it's possible to restrict bookings for 30 minutes (for example) before and after other pending/approved bookings.

    So, let's say someone has booked an appointment from 12:30-13:00.

    Is it possible to block further appointments from 12:00-12:30 and from 13:00-13:30?

    I have the problem if I activate your Booking Calendar – WordPress plugin on my website with WP Evolve theme all submenus doesn't´ work anymore, nothing happens when I hover or click on the items.
    I deactivate your plugin again and everything works fine as before.
    Any idea?

    • Hello.
      1) If you do not see the Envolve theme menu, so then please open the Booking > Settings General page and in Plugin menu section , for the "Menu position" set value "Bottom" instead of "Top".

      2) If you can not click at the menu, so then probably at your page exist some JavaScript error.
      I can suggest that its can be conflict with bootstrap library loading.

      Please note, Booking Calendar is using Bootstrap library 3.3.5, if your theme or some other plugin is using other (older or newer) version of bootstrap so then possible an issues.

      You can disable of loading Bootstrap library in Booking Calendar at front-end side. But in this case, any popover tooltips (where usually showing booked times or times or availability will not show in Booking Calendar). So please open the Booking > Settings General page and in Advanced section click on " Show advanced settings of JavaScript loading " then set as checked this option " Disable Bootstrap loading on Front-End ". Click on "Save changes" button.

      Also please do not set this option " Disable Bootstrap loading on Back-End " as checked, because otherwise, will be some issues in booking admin panel

  8. I have bought the personal version Yesterday, I want users to be able to book any time slot on one or more days. E.G. 2-5 every Monday 0r 1 pm - 3 pm on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday in the same week. Is this possible or have I got the wrong version? thank you.

    • Hello.
      If you need to select several days and book the SAME timeslot at these several days, so then it’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions. You need to activate multiple days selection mode and activate this option “ Use time selections as recurrent time slots”, if you want to use recurrent time to reserve several days. This means that middle days will be partially booked by actual times, otherwise the time in the booking form will be used as check-in/check-out time for the first and last day of the reservation.

      You can activate it at the Booking > Settings General page in calendar section.

  9. We have a simple site managing one conference room using Booking Calendar. We want to allow repeat scheduling for users who have a weekly or monthly meeting, for example. Can we configure the calendar to permit that? We manage each request for review and approval. Thanks for your support.

    • Hello.
      if you need to make several same bookings for the specific time in several days, so then you need to select each such day for making booking. Unfortunately, its does not possible to set like a rule or something similar let say "to automatically select each next Monday for next 2 months". Visitors need to select manually each such day in calendar for making such booking.

      Also in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions you need to activate this option "Use time selections as recurrent time slots" , if you want to use recurrent time to reserve several days. This means that middle days will be partially booked by actual times, otherwise the time in the booking form will be used as check-in/check-out time for the first and last day of the reservation.

      In lower versions it does not possible.
