If you have any technical question about the plugin or configuration of plugin or if you found some issue, please describe it here. Please, inform inside of message your version of WordPress, PHP, Booking Calendar. Also sometimes is needed list of used plugins inside of system and name of your WordPress theme.

  1. The icons in the Admin Panel are all broken (they all looks like squares)

    I already updated to latest version.

    I can see from the chrome network console that a Base64 Woff is loaded, and 3 following request for the glyphicon files results as cancelled.

    How can I make the icons visible again?

    • Hello.
      Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.

  2. Hi

    Is it possible to allow two or more bookings on a particular date? Currently once a date is shown as booked a user cant select. I know I have the option to show all dates available, but want an option whereby dates with only one user are still available, but the leave is granted.

    I am looking to use for a leave calendar where two/three people can be on leave at the same time.

    Therefore I need users to be able to select booked dates which are pending..

      If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity

      At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource.But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation).

      What exactly fix do you need there ?
      1) In case if you need to set width of legend items smaller, so then you can add this CSS code:
      Please open this file http://booking.zeusbyte.com/wp-content/plugins/booking.multiuser.multisite.8.1/css/client.css

      ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

      then add this code to the bottom of this file:

      .block_hints.datepick {
          width: 300px;    
      }
      

      Please do not forget to clear browser cache before testing these changes.

      2) If you need to show captcha under the textarea field, so then please add this HTML

      <div style="clear:both;"></div>

      under text area shortcode block.

      3) Otherwise, please explain more details what exactly fixes you need there and we will help you.

  4. I have installed the free version and love it, except it is painfully slow - I can't use it if I can't resolve this. Making a reservation on either the front or back end takes forever to give the "Thanks for ....". In the admin panel when I try to approve or delete a booking, I wait forever (like 60-seconds or more) before the action completes. It's so slow, I was inclined to hit the send button multiple times, which resulted in multiple emails/bookings. I'm sure my customers will do the same. HELP!

        I think there is some errors at your server or some warning that is showing and because of that is slow down.
        1) Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.
        2) Also please try ti recheck about any conflict issues.

        If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.

  5. I purchased Business Medium a few weeks ago. I'm testing payments options. I configured email forms correctly but [visitorbookingpayurl] shortcode is not working. The email sends an url to the index page with some values but index doesn't load any payment. ¿Where I can see the paypal button and the payment page?

  6. I have installed both plugins (Free)

    • Booking Calendar
    • Booking Manager

    However, after making a test booking it is not exporting booking details to given ".ics feed URL" path.

    • No ics file is created

    My path reads "http://websiteurl/booking"/lagaviota.ics

        I added a new booking and confirmed it but still no .ics file was created.

          Please note, you need to use url for downloading .ics feed. It’s does not create this file, it’s generate like a feed.

          1) Otherwise, please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

          • Sorry, I do not understand. If I create an .ics file and upload this to a path on my server how do new bookings write/update the .ics so that 3rd party applications can read/import this new data?

            • Hello.
              You do not need to upload any files. System create .ics feed (its like a virtual page with content), and if you will use in browser url like http://yourserver.com/resource/wpbm.ics
              (Depend from your configuration) you will be able to download this ics feed.

              Just follow step by step instruction from my first comment.

                I have checked server error.log but nothing is mentioned in fact there are NO errors recorded.

      Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.

      If you are using some other plugin for sending emails like smtp email plugin, so please check settings of this plugin. Or contact support of this email plugin with this error description.

      Currently this is not possible in actual versions. We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin.

  8. I would like to process PayPal Credit Card Payments as well as EFT Bank Deposits. PayPal only works in US$ currency and does not support our local ZAR (South African currency). Since I have my default currency set to ZAR to enable our local customers to process EFT Payments in our currency, how would I accommodate the different US$ currency from PayPal? ~ As I understand, I cannot have two Currency options selected at the same time, It has to either be ZAR or US$. Please advise accordingly.

    • Hello.
      In the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions possible to configure differnt currencies for each activated payment systems at the Booking > Settings > Payment page. So PayPal can have usd currency but in the Sage Pay tab section you can configure GBP as payed currency. But Booking Calendar does not make automatic exchange of these currencies. So it’s will show 100 USD for booking in PayPal and the same 100 GBP for Sage Pay payment system.

      At the Booking > Settings > Payment page in cost section you can configure currency that is showing in interface of Booking Calendar. For example at the booking listing page.

      Please note Booking Calendar does not support EFT deposit bank payments.
      The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as Stripe, PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL via Sisow and iPay88 payment gateways integration, other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
      If you want to make the integration of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how was integrated exist payment system in plugin like PayPal or Sage Pay gateways. Please check more about this here: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/
      Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.
