  1. Hi there, I am having difficulty with the range dates, I have them set up in settings, but when I go to make selections on the calendars - using double clicks or any click I cannot seem to get it to select more than one day for a date range. I have looked at the code suggestions and just cannot figure it out. Is my clicking process wrong...

    I want users to be able to select single day, multiday and date range

    My setting right now:

    Type of days selection in calendar Type of days selection in calendar Range days
    Select a DYNAMIC range of days with 2 mouse clicks
    Days selection number Min Min 1 Max Max 180
    Select your minimum and maximum number of days for range selection
    Any day of week

    • Hello.
      Range days selection mode via 2 mouse clicks is working in follow way:
      1) You click once on start  day. For example on 25/12/2017
      2. Then move mouse to  the end date and click once again, for finishing
      selection. For example at 28/12/2017
      3) 3. After  this all  days between these check  in/out days will be selected automatically,
      in our case its 26/12/2017 and 27/12/2017

      So finally we will have selection for 4 days.

      P.S. I was also sent screenshots to your email.

      P.S.S. May be for you better to activate "multiple days" selection mode, where you will be need to select each specific day.

  2. Hi There,

    I Seem to have an problem with this plugin. I activated it on my page and it keeps saying 'Loading calender'.
    Allready tried to disable any bootstrap or jquery files. Did not help.

    Tested this plugin on an other WordPress theme and worked fine.

    Can anyone seem to get the problem?

        You are having this JavaScript error at the page.

        10:04:39.793 ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined[Learn More] reserveren-2:62:3
        

        Please recheck the header.php file from your actual theme.

        this file have to have this code:

        <?php wp_head();  ?>

        before this:

        </head>

        Its standard rule for the themes.

        That code allow to load the JS and CSS files for the plugins.

        For example you can activate the "default WordPress theme" to test how its working.

  3. I have wordpress booking calendar free version. can I block out christmas without booking myself multiple times?

      1) In the Booking Calendar Free version the only way to make such dates as unavailable its to make "blank" bookings for such dates at the Booking > Add booking page.

      2) The ability to define unavailable days depend from season filters possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.

  4. Hi, I would like to install this plug-in to integrate all hotel booking systems into one platform (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, etc) as well allowing customers to book directly on our site. Once synced with all booking systems, will double-booking be prevented? I want to make sure there will be no overlap of bookings because of bookings being made on one site and then the same dates booked on a different site.

      Booking Calendar plugin is supporting

      - import of events via .ics feeds from Google Calendar ( or Airbnb or any other calendar that support .ics format, like iCal application)

      - and export bookings to .ics feeds (files), which possible to import in Google Calendar (or Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, FlipKey and any other calendar that uses .ics format ).

      Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically access this page with booking import shortcode to start import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly system will start import process and only then show booking form, when someone visit your page.

      Now about export. Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.

      You can download the Booking Calendar Free version ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/booking/ ) and test how its working this functionality with one default booking resource (calendar).

      in a any paid versions of Booking Calendar.

      2) But in case, if you need to have different booking form customization for the different booking resources, so then its possible only in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Please check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#custom-forms
      And during inserting the Booking Calendar shortcode (from previous point #1), please be sure that you DO NOT used this parameter form_type in shortcode. So then will be loaded default custom booking form for specific booking resource, which you can define at the Booking > Resources page.

      You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.

      Also , please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

  7. hello I am having trouble with my calendar its not sending emails out and when people try to use the calendar it well not work

      Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.
      Please check this troubleshooting instruction http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/

      The most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is ‘sending emails via php’ option and it can resolve that issue.

    I'm a paying customer, I have designed the calendar and would like to get it live on our site.

    1. How can I transition all of the bookings from our previous booking software over to Booking Calendar?

    2. Some of these bookings have only paid deposits, and they are auto-charged two weeks before the event. Will this still work?

      1) Unfortunately, Booking Calendar does not support import of bookings from the other booking systems or plugins. It can only import and set days as unavailable via .ics feeds, like import from from Google Calendar ( or Airbnb or any other calendar that support .ics format, like iCal application)

      2) The deposit payment (payment the part of sum from total booking cost), available in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.

      Here is little instruction about deposit configuration and MANUAL sending payment request for payment balance (rest from the sum).

      Please read firstly this article about the correct configuration of the "payment link" : http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-editing-cancel-payment-bookings-for-visitors/

      Then open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and configure and set active the "Payment request" email.

      You can open the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page and by clicking the"Deposit amount" button configure the deposit amount value.

      This cost will be show in the payment form, after visitor is made the reservation. So probably its cost will be smaller than full amount. And your visitors can make the payment of that amount.

      At the admin panel at the booking listing page for the specific booking you will see in the cost field the FULL cost, but inside of the "notes section" (you can activate it by pressing the note button at the right side of the each section), you will see the description similar to this:

      Total cost: $135.00 / deposit: $54.00, balance: $81.00 / - 11.11.2018

      If you are want to request from the visitor to pay the rest of the sum, you are need to make these steps:

      a) Edit the cost of the booking, and enter the sum, which will show at the payment form.

      You are need to change the cost and then press the save button to save the new cost.

  9. I have just installed Business Small MultiSite 8.1 on my website. The language of the website is Danish DK and the control panel is likewise. However, the administrative module for the Booking Calendar plug-in is in English UK.
    How do I change the language used for the administrative module?

    • Hello.
      Please be sure that the locale of Danish language was "da_DK" and not some other specific one.
      You can recheck (re-select) active language/locale at the WordPress > Settings > General page
      or if you are using some translation plugin, like WPML or translate so then in interface of such plugin.
