Hello
We are using BL and the forms all have some JS code to show/hide fields as necessary
This has been working fine, but with the new Form Builder tool something seems to have broken. The forms have stayed the same as before "Advanced" and I only made a minor change to the form text. After saving, it now displays the javascript in line with the form test instead of running the JS code as before. Do you know why this might be?
I'm not asking for help with writing JS code, just wondering why making a change completely unrelated to JS and saving the form has resulted in the code being displayed in the form and not run.

Thanks!
Hello.
Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/add-custom-javascript-booking-form-builder/
Hello,
I have 4 resources with their own calendars and prices. I filled in seasonal and duration-based pricing like i want. Now, when filling in the booking form on the website, completely different prices are shown, also in the check-out.
How can this happen?
Price to be shown per night: 80 euros. When 3 nights booked, prices is 126 euros total.... Strange, right?
Hello.
You can activate the option "Show debug cost info" at the Booking > Settings > Payment page to show your cost calculation (at front-end side after days selection) for better understanding how costs are working.
Kind Regards.
Thanks!
Hi,
One more question: I have one resource being a campsite. For this resource I want to set the max bookings that are possible on the same date (basically the number of tent pitches I have).
I cannot find where I can set this up.
Furthermore, is there a way to show how much pitches are still left in the selected dates? (Thus, max number of pitches - existing bookings on that date).
I have Booking Calendar Business Medium
Hello.
Such feature available in the Booking Calendar Business Large or higher version.
In the Booking Calendar Business Large version, you can set capacities for your booking resources either for the entire day or for specific times within a day. This means you can control the number of bookings allowed for each day or for specific time slots. Learn more about this feature https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
For example, you could specify that your booking resource can accommodate up to 10 bookings per day in a specific calendar. Alternatively, if you use time fields in the booking form, each time slot can accommodate up to 10 bookings per day. This flexibility allows you to manage bookings effectively, whether they are for full days or specific times.
Explore this feature in the live demo https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/
For detailed instructions on configuring capacity and availability for booking resources and to watch a video about this feature, refer to this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/
You can easily upgrade your current version of the plugin to a higher one by clicking on the “Upgrade” menu item on the "WP Booking Calendar" top menu.
Kind Regards.
Alright, too bad its not possible with Medium.
Is it possible to with Medium to set the minimum to-be-booked days per resource?
Hello.

Many thanks for the quick responses!
Hi,
I would like to add an option checkbox with payment options in page 2 (the last page) of the booking form. So that you can choose your payment method before confirming the booking. Then when booking and coming on the " booking confirmed" page, you should immediately see the chosen payment option.
Now, all payment options are provided with buttons etc.
Thanks!

Hello, when I try to create a new reservation from the backend (manually), the screen appears, but the form it displays is not the one assigned as default in the resource. It doesn't matter if I select the correct form; it shows a form that doesn't match the one I've always used. Could you please help me? I'm using version 11.01, Large. I've attached an image where the correct resource and form are selected, but the form displayed is incorrect. This happens with all resources.
Thank you.
Dear Armando,
Hello.
Currently, the default custom booking form assigned to a specific booking resource is not automatically selected within the "Add New Booking" popup.
In the meantime, you can manually reselect the specific custom booking form for your booking resource using the selection tool at the top of the popup. We plan to improve this functionality in a future update.
Thank you.
Hi,
Another question, I now send automatically an email with paylink for the deposit when I approve a booking. It is just a link where people can fill in the amount of the deposit. In this email, [cost] shows the deposit amount.
2 weeks prior to check-in, I want to send an automatic email where I provided the same link, but the shown amount should be total-deposit. However, I can only fill in the [cost] shortcode. How can I show the correct amount, being total amount - deposit?
Also, how can I automate this last email? I do not see the option in the settings.
Hello.
The [cost] shortcode shows the actual cost of the booking that is showing on the Booking Listing page. You can edit this cost. And before sending payment requests you need to edit it to change to the balance for the payment. The description about this exists in this faq: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/partial-payment-setup/
Kind Regards.
Hi,
I have a calender on the page:
https://vakantiehuis-ootmarsum.nl/reserveren/
Which works fine, but pending reservartions are not shown in the calendar. They should show in yellow (In behandeling). I have a pending reservation in the system from 07-11-2026 till 14-11-2026.
Am i missing a setting?
Thank you.
Coen
Hello.
If you do not see the pending/booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the "Capacity section", please be sure that you have not activated this option: "Use pending days as available". It must be unchecked.
Kind Regards.
Thank you!
Hello, I'm updating the old forms to the new format in the Forms Builder, but now, even though I have a "select" field with the number of visitors (options), it doesn't appear in the Advanced Costs section, so I can't calculate costs based on the number of [visitors]. (the name and values are the same as the old forms) All the other fields appear correctly, and as you can see, this is extremely critical.
Thank you for your support.
Hi Armando,
Thank you for reaching out. Please follow these steps to resolve the issue with your form fields:
1. Update the Plugin: Ensure you are using the latest version of Booking Calendar (v11.1) for both the Free and Pro versions. You can request the latest update here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
2. Verify Form Import: Confirm that your legacy forms were imported correctly into the new Form Builder. Detailed instructions can be found here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-legacy-booking-forms-new-form-builder/
3. Check Form Selection: Please double-check that you are viewing the same booking form on both the Settings > Forms Builder page and the Prices > Form Options Costs page. If you have multiple custom forms, it is possible that a different form is selected on one of these pages.
Best regards,
I think its a bug: when I add a "default" value to the Select box the field is not in the advanced costs section:
[selectbox visitors default="1" "1" "2"] -> not appears
[selectbox visitors "1" "2"] -> OK
I got version 11.1 Large
Hello.
We will fix this issue in next update 11.1.1 of Booking Calendar.
Thank you, for notification.
Update have to come during 1-2 weeks.
Kind Regards.
UPDATE: the Advanced Cost is not showing all the selectboxes in the forms as [selectbox visitors default="1" "1" "2"]

What can be the cause of the calendar dates loading very slowly? The calendar frame loads, and the icon spins indicating it's updating, but the available dates take up to 3-4 minutes to display. I don't know what could be the cause of this intense slow down. I've checked the troubleshooting docs, but nothing seems obvious. Would installing WPFastest Cache help in this instance?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Hello.
Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.
Otherwise you need to check about increasing performance on your server. Because loading of booking data is going from server side. The Cache plugins in this case will not help.
Kind Regards.
