Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $20 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $30 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Each specific version of Booking Calendar can be single site usage version, developer or multi site usage version.
Single site usage version, possible to install and activate only at 1 specific website.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Administrator can make the booking at admin panel at the "Add new booking" menu page and configure the different settings of the booking form and availability calendar at the general booking settings menu page.

Booking Calendar Personal - it's paid version, where is possible to have booking availability calendar for the each of multiple booking resources (like a room, cars or any services, etc…). You can add new and configure exist fields in the booking form. Also you can configure the email templates for the different booking actions. Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

Booking Calendar Business Medium - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you will have more advanced cost and availability management of the bookings. At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. In this version is exist also the "super booking admin users", which can see and manage the bookings and booking resources from the all users and manage the status of other bookings users.   1. Hi, when selecting a couple of days for reservation, the total costs is not correct. When adding up the total costs, 1 day is forgotten. What goes wrong here in the settings? How do I correct this so that all days of the reservation are included in the total price?

    • Hello.
      Please open the Booking > Settings > Payment page and set cost per 1 day instead of cost per 1 night.
      Also please be sure that this option "Set check out date as available" at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section is unchecked.

  2. Hi, is it possible to enforce the following deviating rule in a certain period in the calendar?
    - 29 June to 31 August a minimum stay of 7 nights applies, arrival and departure only possible on Saturday

    • Hello.
      You can  create new booking by  selecting each  "Sundays" in the calendar from current month  to  end of this month.
      For ability to  make such  days selection in calendar, you need to  activate the "Multiple days" selection mode at  the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section. So  then  you can  manually  select each  Sunday  in calendar for ability to  submit this new booking.

      Relative costs.- If this booking appear at  specific booking resource (calendar),  so  you can  define the cost of this booking resource  as 0 at the Booking > Resources page. In this case the cost  of the booking will  be = 0  for any  bookings that  you or your visitors will  create in this booking resource (calendar).
      - In the  Booking Calendar Business Large or higher version possible to use coupon code for getting discount for the booking. You can define coupon code for getting 100% discount,  and in this case the cost  of the booking will  be == 0.       - But in any  case,  even  if the cost  of the booking will  be higher than  0,  and you will  submit the booking,  this booking will  be saved to  the Database,  and you can  just  skip following payment form. Booking will  be still  exist  in the Booking Listing  page,  until you will  not erase it. So  in other words,  if you already  have some lease agreement with  tenant and just  need to  set  such  dates (each  Sunday) as unavailable in the booking resource (calendar),  you can simply  create new booking (even if the cost  of the booking higher than 0).   3. Hello, I use the Business Large Developer 8.5.1

    On one of my websites, I need to be able to book single days for one type of day boat and a range of days for another type of holiday boat. Looking through previous forum answers, it seemed easiest to convert the settings to default to the range of days and then insert

    bk_days_selection_mode = 'single';

    before the calendar which needs to book single days. Although this now allows you to select single days, the final "Book Now" button won't work, and brings up an error message "Error! Please reset your check-in/check-out dates above"

      It’s correct.
      Only if you will activate the “single day selection mode it’s does not possible to use check in/out times for change over days. So please open the Booking > Settings General page and in calendar section uncheck “Use check in/out option”. Save changes.
      Test it.

    I have just installed Booking Calendar and then put calendar widget on page using Elementor.
    When I look at the page, I see this error:

    Could you help me solve this?

    • Hello.
      Its seems that you have not defined the initial value of booking resource in the configuration widget. If you can not do this in the initial configuration widget of Booking Calendar in your Elementor, so then you can try todo this fix.

      then find this code:

      and replace it to this code:

          You can configure the Booking Calendar widget at the WordPress > Appearance -> Widgets page, during adding the Booking Calendar widget to some sidebar.

    I have Business Large Developer 8.5.1
    On one of my websites, I'm trying to set the valuation days so that 4 days booked together are charged at 75%.
    I have set it up exactly as another website which IS working, but this time it doesn't recognise the new valuation.

    Do you know of a set up which will prevent the valuation days setting from working?

          2) Be sure that the other "Valuation days" cost settings does not overload this specific "Valuation days".

    • Hello.
      You need to configure the Filter toolbar at the booking Listing page to show all bookings or past bookings. And then apply this filer. After this open the Actions toolbar and click on Export button to generate the CSV file from bookings in this listing.
      All this available in the paid versions of Booking Calendar.

  7. Support needed:
    If you click on a specific date of the calendar and you click on send the response is: please select in the calendar the date.
    Hence the booking is not accepted/transfered.
    Please help

      Please be sure that you have inserted into your page, only one shortcode for your booking form, like this:

      [booking type=1]

      and not the 2 shortcodes like availability calendar and the booking form:

      [bookingcalendar type=1]
      [booking type=1]

      Otherwise please update your content in the page for having only one shortcode for the booking form (its already contain calendar inside).

          • Sorry, I don't believe that these answers respond to my question.
            The problem is that the calendar doesn't load. Hence when anybody clicks on a date this date is not accepted. It just happens nothing whenever somebody tries to select a date.
            please help

            • Hello.
              1) In case, if your calendar is not loading. Its most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl + Shift + J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
              You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.

              You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
              If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.

              If you still will have this issue, please send the link to the page with booking form, where you are having an issue, I will check it then.
