I found these errors on wp-engine logs. Please provide a solution

        • Hello.
That error is mean that system have not enough memory for the script execution.

Can you ask your system administrator or support of hosting company to increase memory in PHP configuration (in php.ini file),
then you can restart your web-server and test it again.

Also if its not help try to ask also set longer time for the script execution at the same php configuration file.

          Kind Regards.

          • I wanted to let you know that I also got this error when I had a syntax error in my booking form. In the [calendar] short-code, I used "resource_id" instead of "id" attribute. It would be less confusing if this attribute were uniform across short-codes. Sometimes "type" is used also.

            • This issue is on back admin. Where exactly i need to replace shortcodes for admin calendar?

              • Hello.
At admin side it is not possible to use custom shortcodes or JavaScript. Ok admin panel it can use only data from settings, which configured at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings page.

          • I have tried reaching out to wp engine support and this is the reply i got

"Looking into this here, it seems that the plugin on Prod is trying to use 1GB of memory however the max we can allocate for any site is 512MB, in this case we would recommend reaching out to the plugin developers since we wouldn't have a method available to pinpoint where the exhaust of memory is specifically. They should be able to provide further insight on where this is and how it can be resolved:"

"The staging environment likely isn't exceeding the max memory limit and therefore is working as intended. As this is a 3rd party plugin, you would need to seek the plugin developer support to resolve this issue, as we aren't able to increase the memory limit to any higher than 512MB"

            Can you help further?

            • Hello.
              1) How many plugins do you have installed at your WordPress, because it can be that some other plugins also required too much memeory and WordPress stop executing just on the Booking Calendar plugin.
              2) Also how many bookings do you have at the booking resource, where you see this error ?
              3) Did you configured any days as unavailable at the WP Booking Calendar > Availability > Days Availability page
and at the WP Booking Calendar > Availability > Season Availability pages ?
Please send screenshots of these pages to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com

              Thank you.

  1. Hi,

We are using your plugin on a website and in the section "Type of day selection in calendar" I have the option range days selected.

In the "Days selection number" I have a min of 4 and max of 15 set which is all fine.

In the "Specific days selections" I have 4, 5, 8, 15. But here is where I could do with some advice.

I if select a Friday I only want it to select 4 days and not 5. And if I select a Monday I want this to be 5 days and not 4.

How would be the best way to do this?

  2. Hi, I bought your plugin. It is in Italian version but I saw that the voice at the top "Timeline View" is not translated into Italian.
Is it possible to translate it?
    I await clarification, thanks.
    Simone

  3. I would like to change the labels on the customer info for to #edf0cd. Is there a way of doing that? Also the entry form to background #7c6453 and font to #edf0cd. If it can be done I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks

        • Hello.
Please add this CSS to your Theme Editor settings.

You can check how to add own CSS customization to CSS Theme Editor here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/

Here's the code you need to add:

          .block_text,
          .wpbc_container_booking_form .wpbc_booking_form_simple .wpbc__field label {
            color: #edf0cd;
          }
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=date],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=datetime-local],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=datetime],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=email],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=month],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=number],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=password],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=range],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=search],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=tel],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=text],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=time],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=url],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form input[type=week],
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form select,
          div.wpbc_container.wpbc_form textarea {
             color:#edf0cd;
             background:#7c6453;
          }

Please do not forget to clear the browser cache before testing these changes.

          • Thank you so very much for your quick action on my request. The second solution did not work either. Why??? Cause I chose Elementor Hello template to do the website. What you say?! Well yes I was not smart enough to use the Elementor-Appearance-Themes-Customize-Additional CSS. Added your second solution to this area and WOOHOO - it worked! Amazing when you think about it.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, Your silly web guy,

            Dave

  4. Hi, I would like to cancel the renewing booking of plugin with ending after one year, which means 25.10.25. How can I manage it ? BR thomas

  5. Hi, Is it possible to add a Number field? I can only see options to add a Text or Select field to the form. This is needed for Quantity fields where numbers can go quite high and I don't want to create a long Select list for it. It also needs to be used in the calculations of the booking, which is why a basic Text field won't do either.

    • Hello.
Unfortunately currently it is not possible in the plugin. You can use only selectbox for such purpose.
We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin, but I can not say when exactly it’s will be implemented. Thank you for understanding.

  6. Hello, I would like to use your product for my photography business allowing customers to schedule for packages ( mini session 30 minutes $100, 1 hour session $200, 1 hr 30 min session $300 ) and so on. Also I rent out my studio in hourly blocks can it do that? 1 hour $65, 2 hours $130 and so on. Can you product do what I need?

    • Hello.
      1) Such costs configuration possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Form Options Costs page.

If you need to set some additional cost for the booking, depending from selected options in the select-boxes or checkboxes in your booking form, so then it’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.

Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost

Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/advanced-costs-video-overview/

      2) For studio bookings you can use the different custom booking form and because of that configure the different costs for time duration selection at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Form Options Costs page.

All this possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.

      Kind Regards.

  7. Hey, if I use the booking form on my website and select three guests in the dropdown (+ €7.50 per night) or four guests (+ €15 per night), my price is automatically updated. If I go internally via “Add booking” via the WordPress interface, the price update does not work (additional costs). Do you have any idea what the problem could be and how I can fix it?

    • Hello.
Please be sure that you use the same form at the Booking > Add booking page, as you used in the front-end side.
At the Booking > Add booking page you can select specific custom booking form at the top toolbar.
      Kind Regards.

  8. I'm using Version 10.6.1 Personal on one site. I'm trying to enter a new booking from the admin panel, Add Booking. I can select the resource and the dates to be reserved, but when I try to select the Continue to step 2 link there is no response. I cannot select the link and go to entering the client information. Is there a configuration or something I need to change to make new bookings go through?

    • Hello.
      1) Please try to update your version of Booking Calendar to the latest update 10.6.5
You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

      2) Also test this form at the front-end side of your website.

If the issue still will persist, then please send the exact link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.

      Kind Regards.

  9. Hi,

I have a questions about advanced pricing. I tried setting the following up with advanced pricing, but i can see using multiple selectbox is not supported (can't set advanced pricing for both unless renaming "rangetime" which breaks other stuff). I also tried using child resources, but since there is only 1 capacity for each time and they have different rates (i.e. price/hour = different rates), i could not get this to work. I have looked through almost all guides on FAQ + videos... How would you set this up?

We have 4 resources (rooms: A, B, C, D) each with multiple different time slots for weekdays and weekends. Most time slots are priced differently, and we would like the user to be able to select an individual time slot. So e.g:

    Resource A:
    -Weekday time slots:
    -- 8-12, 13-17 and 18-22 ($1100)
    -- OR 8-17 and 13-22 ($1700)

    -Weekend time slots:
    -- 8-24 ($2150)
    -- 8-13 ($1100)
    -- 15-24 ($1700)

Please note that the other resources have other time slots for weekdays/weekends.

    https://www.mar-k-waterside.dk/booking/

Thank you very much in advance.

    Best regards,
    Nicolas

    • Hello.
      1) Unfortunately, the Advanced costs can not depends from the weekdays or seasons. So it is not possible to set the different additional cost for the options for the different weekdays. Sorry.
      2) For the different booking resources you can create the different custom booking forms at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page and then configure the different additional costs for the options in each custom booking form at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Form Options Costs page.
      Kind Regards.

      • Thank you for your reply. So it is not possible to set advanced pricing for time slots under different conditions?

Is there another solution to this, where the user does not have to select a resource representing either weekday or weekend, but can just choose a resource representing the parent resource (while also showing correctly on the calendar when user hovers over)?

And can you explain more about using resources as time slots? I tried doing it, but each resource ended up getting the same capacity as the parent resource (i.e. each time slot/child resource had 5 capacity instead of 1)...

        Best regards.

        • Hello,

          1. Additional costs configured on the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Form Options Costs page cannot be based on weekdays or seasonal days. Apologies for any inconvenience.
          2. I’m not entirely sure what you mean by selecting booking resources that do not represent weekdays but rather the parent booking resource. Please note that a booking resource is a unique calendar, which can include specific available or unavailable dates. You can set one booking resource to have only weekdays available and another to have only weekends, for example. You can manage availability in WP Booking Calendar > Availability > Season Availability.
          3. If you don’t want to use booking resources with specific capacities, simply remove the child booking resources from these booking resources on the Booking > Resources page. This will leave you with single booking resources.

          Kind regards.

          • Hi again,

            2. I understood it as if i want to setup different time slots for weekdays and weekends with different pricing, that this can be achieved by creating child resources for the weekday slots and for the weekend slots under each original resource (i.e. 2 new resources). But then on resource selection form on the frontend, a user will have to select e.g. "Meeting Room A - Weekday" or "Meeting Room A - Weekend" instead of just choosing "Meeting Room A". Is there a way around this?

            3. Yes i understand, but if i choose to only have 1 resource, then i cannot create the different time slots for different "seasons" (weekday and weekend), because they have different pricing for each time slots in each day (when calculated, the hourly rate is different even on time slots on the same day). This is where i thought i could use 2 selectboxes under 1 condition each, but this option is not supported.

If you were to set up 1 meeting room with different time slots, each with different cost, while also showing only some time slots in weekdays and others in weekends, how would you do it exactly? As shown here:

            Resource A:
            -Weekday time slots:
            -- 8-12, 13-17 and 18-22 ($1100)
            -- 8-17 and 13-22 ($1700)

            -Weekend time slots:
            -- 8-24 ($2150)
            -- 8-13 ($1100)
            -- 15-24 ($1700)

Sorry for the long reply, i appreciate your help

            • 2) ok, it can work, but only in case if you will use 2 separate single booking resources. Not the parent and child booking resources.
So you can use just 2 single booking resources "Meeting Room A - Weekday" or "Meeting Room A - Weekend

              3) you can have 2 single booking resources:

-Meeting Room A - Weekday time slots:
              -- 8-12, 13-17 and 18-22 ($1100)
              -- 8-17 and 13-22 ($1700)

              • Okay, i understand thank you. So there is now way to have advanced pricing for different weekdays in 1 calendar form, so that the customer does not have to select between multiple resources when showing the calendar/time slots?

Is it possible to show different resources in 1 calendar? Then i could set advanced pricing for "Resource A - Weekday" and "Resource A" - Weekend and see them both in 1 calendar?

                Best regards,
                Nicolas

                • Hello.
                  1) There is no way to have advanced pricing for different weekdays in 1 calendar form.
                  2) Unfortunately, it is not possible to show different resources in 1 calendar.
                  Sorry.
                  Kind Regards.
