  2. Hello,

Is it possible to reserve a room for internal use?

If so, is it possible to create different profiles which can do such blockings of dates together with approval/ denial of requests?

    Thank you for your answer.

    • Hello.
Do you need to show the booking form only for restricted users ?

If yes, then you can insert the booking form into the password protected page (it's standard functionality of WordPress ) and then inform the password to your specific users.
      Kind Regards.

      • The question is: Is it possible to reserve a room without having to pay it with a profile having this right?

The form should be public but with the possibility to block specific dates.

        • Hello.
You can make the booking for the booking resource and do not make the payment. The booking will already exist.
Just be sure to not enable the auto-cancaltion of the pending bookings at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings General page in "Auto Cancellation / Auto Approval" section.
          Kind Regards.

      • The question is: Is it possible to block given dates from a user profile having this right?
This said, is it possible to block specific dates from booking without having to pay?
Though, is it possible to create different user profiles which can partially manage the booking platform?

        • >> The question is: Is it possible to block given dates from a user profile having this right?
You can block it only from admin panel at WP Booking Calendar > Availability > Days Availability page.

You need to login to your WordPress admin panel.
then You can define days as unavailable in just a few clicks at Booking > Availability page. Simply select a range of days on the calendar, choose 'available' or 'unavailable' status, and click on the Apply button. That's it.

  3. Hello,

Is it possible that a person needs to pay the service as soon as they reserve it?

If yes, how can I implement it?

Additionally, is it possible to integrate the interface of TWINT?

    Thank you for your answer.

    • Hello.
      1) The payment form appears just after the booking process. Test it here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/
the booking saved before the payment process. Find more information at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/why-is-a-booking-created-before-payment/

      2) I do not know about the TWIN. Sorry.
It's depends from your PHP skils and from the API of TWIN.
Please check more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/

  4. Hi - am using Business Large SingleSite 9.5

I have Stripe v.3 payment gateway set up - within my admin booking listings page, the payment status for all bookings is shown as 'unknown'
when a payment is made upon booking this still displays an unknown status even though a payment has been successfully made and received against this booking.

How do I integrate and get a true payment status to a booking?

    Many Thanks

  5. We upgraded to Business Medium recently, and are trying to take advantage of syncing our WordPress booking calendar with our calendar on Airbnb. Everything is working as intended, however, when the data comes through to our WordPress website, the checkout date is always one day sooner than what it is on Airbnb. Can you help us identify why the checkout date is incorrect? For example, if on Airbnb, a user wants a 3 night stay, so check in on August 1, and check out August 4, that'd be a 3-night stay (Aug 1, Aug 2, and Aug 3). However, the data in WordPress suggests that the user would be leaving on August 3.

  6. Hello,

I have a list of more than 100 resources, and by using the search functionality, I am able to filter and search for resources according to my requirements.

I am unsure whether I need to create a unique page for each resource and display the shortcode [booking resource_id=XX] on each page, or if I can create a single page where, upon selecting a resource and clicking "Book Now," the parameters of the selected resource are sent to this page, dynamically providing the necessary resource_id.

Could you please confirm if the second option is possible? If so, how can I achieve this?

    Thank you.

  7. Hello.

How can I search for resources that are available for rental by specifying the rental start date and time and rental end date and time?

    • I'm using the Business Large version.

      We rent various items.

The rental period is defined by the rental start date and time and the rental end date and time.

Therefore, when searching for items that can be rented, I would like to specify the rental start date and time and the rental end date and time.

      • Hello.
The search availability form can show the booking resources that are available on specific selected dates.
But Unfortunately, it can not filter the booking resources, that has own customized days selection rules based on the variables in the shortcodes or in JavaScript vars in the pages with booking forms.

So in the search form possible to show all booking resources, that available on specific dates. However you can enable this option "Disable Days Auto Selection" at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Search page. In this case, after redirection to the booking form page from the search availability form, the dates will not be automatically selected, and in this case the visitor needs to select the dates manually, if it's will be possible by internal logic at this page.

        Kind Regards.

        • Hello.
          thank you for your reply.

"Check this box if you want the time selection on the booking form applied to the cost calculation."
With this check enabled, we use a feature that allows you to specify the time for reservations.

          thank you.

In order to make effective use of this reservation function, I would like to take some time when searching.

          Are there any changes planned?
Or can I do it by modifying it here?

          • Hello.
            1) This checkbox: "Time impact to cost" (Check this box if you want the time selection on the booking form applied to the cost calculation.) at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Payment Setup page in Payment options section is useful only for the cost calculation, if you defined the cost per 1 day at the same settings page and in the booking form you use the time fields. In this case, the cost per day divided for 24 hours, and calculated based on selected time fields in your booking form.

            2) Time searching also available in the Booking Calendar. Test it here https://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Check detailed step by step guide about configuration on this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/search-availability-setup/

  8. Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing an issue with WP Booking Calendar when submitting a booking. When I click the "Send" button in the booking form, the browser console shows the following error:

SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data (200)

Here are the details of my setup:

WP Booking Calendar version: Buisness large 10.10.2
    Theme: kubio

I've already ensured that WP_DEBUG is disabled, and I've checked that no extra debug output or PHP warnings are interfering with the JSON response. It seems like the AJAX response might be including unexpected characters (possibly HTML or an error message) before the JSON data.

Has anyone encountered this issue before, or does anyone have suggestions on how to diagnose and resolve it? I'm happy to provide further logs or screenshots if needed.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Best regards,
    Nicolò

    • Hello.
1)Please clear all minimized CSS and JavaScript files and cached pages or posts.
      2) Please recheck once more time that you disabled the option "Show debug cost info" at the Booking > Settings > Payment page to show your cost calculation.
      3) Otherwise Probably it's because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and activate the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason for this issue.

      Kind Regards.

      • Thank you very much for your prompt response. I checked, and the issue was indeed related to the cost debug option. I really appreciate your help and support.

        Best regards.

  9. I have setup duration based discounts but they are not being applied on the calendar during booking.
a discount is meant to be applied after 4 5% ,8 10% and 16 15% days. But the cost hint on the calendar page show only the total i have set in the resource multiplied by the days selected no discount.

    https://prnt.sc/LLU-OfzWZR4O

    • Hello.
      1) You should use the "Together" term for these configuration.
Your configuration should look like this, in the same order:

Together 5 days = 95% for the cost of the all days
From 6 to 8 days = 95% for the cost of each selected date
Together 9 days = 90% for the cost of the all days
From 10 to 16 days = 90% for the cost of each selected date
Together 17 days = 85% for the cost of the all days
From 18 to 99 days = 85% for the cost of each selected date

      2) Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#valuation-days
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configuring-duration-based-costs/

"Duration-Based Costs" can apply for any day. Or in case if you need to apply it to a specific season, then it can depend only on the belonging "check in day" to a specific season. It means that, if you select 2 weeks, the "Duration-Based Costs" can apply costs only depending on the check-in day belonging to a specific season, even if some other days belong to another season. In other words, if you will have the days selected with season intersections, then you can have an issue with "Duration-Based Costs". Basically "Duration-Based Costs" is useful, in case, if you need to set some discount or higher cost depending on the number of selected days. For example if a visitor selects 7 or more days, then booking will have a 10% discount, etc...

      3) Otherwise You can activate the option "Show debug cost info" at the Booking > Settings > Payment page to show your cost calculation (at front-end side after days selection) for better understanding how costs are working.
      Kind Regards.

  10. I have "Form options Cost" Setup with variable cost based on the time of the day. How can I display that cost to the user selecting the timeslot. (prefferable next to each timeslot in the time-picker list)

    • Hello.

Tip & Trick. You can show cost hints separately for the each items, that have additional cost at Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page. For example, if you have configured additional cost for my_tax option at Advanced cost page, then in booking form you can use this shortcode [my_tax_hint] to show additional cost of this specific option. Add "_hint" term to name of shortcode for creation hint shortcode.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to show the cost near each selected time option.
But you can use something like this:

      [tangetime_hint]

      2) Also you can use in the time slots "Titles" - any text . It can be the time and cost. But in the values of the time slots you need to use the real time in 24H format.
      Example:

       <l>Select Times (required):</l><br />
      [selectbox* rangetime "6:00 AM - 100 USD@@06:00 - 08:00" "8:00 AM - 120 USD@@08:00 - 10:00" "10:00 AM - 150 USD@@10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 PM cost: 200 USD@@12:00 - 14:00"]
