Hello, when I use the Availability Calendar to only show the calendar with nummonths=12 it shows the calendar perfectly on a desktop and initially also on an android device, but as soon as you scroll down on the android device to see the next months, it suddenly reverts to a 1 month view?
Hello.
Please open the WP Booking Calendar > Settings General page in "Calendar" section and enable this option "Allow multiple months to be shown on mobile".
P.S. You can see this option, if enabled multiple or range days selection mode.
Kind Regards.
Thanks for the quick reply, problem is indeed solved 🙂
I have set up a basic booking system for 5 campsites. I need to be able to charge per person per campsite. I can add a field for extra visitors but I can't work out what I need to do to ensure that the correct price is charged based on the total number of visitors
Hello.
Such costs configuration possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Form Options Costs.
In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to configure additional costs for selected options in the select boxes or check boxes (such options can be hidden and checked by default). It's useful in case, if you need to add the tax cost or cleaning fee or any other additional cost for the booking. You can configure it at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Form Options Costs page. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost
Check this FAQ guide about configuration of additional costs based on time duration: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-additional-costs-for-time-duration/ You can use the same method to configure additional costs for any selected options in select boxes or checkboxes in your booking form.
Kind Regards.
Hello,
I'm using the bookingcalendar select="booking_type" setup, where users can choose from multiple booking types (resources), such as full hall or half hall, with corresponding IDs.
I need the following logic to apply:
If one resource is booked at a certain date and time, that time should be blocked (unavailable) for all other related resources as well. For example:
If Full Hall is booked at 16:00–17:00, then both Half Hall 1 and Half Hall 2 must also show that time as unavailable.
If Half Hall 1 is booked at a time, then Full Hall must be unavailable for that same time too.
Currently, it seems each resource only blocks time within itself, and not across the other related ones.
Thank you!
Hello.
With the booking resource selection shortcode at the same page, it is not possible to have this functionality. You can have this functionality with different booking forms only.
It's possible to make such a configuration with aggregate parameter.
Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
I will explain it in an example of booking separate rooms and the entire house.
Please note, all such separate properties will have separate booking forms with calendars at the front-end side of your website.
It means that you can book an entire house, or specific room in a separate booking form.
So in case if you want to show as unavailable some dates or times in all calendars (booking resources), if some booking was made in only one calendar (booking resource), then it’s possible to configure it with "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode ( it's possible in all paid versions of Booking Calendar). This parameter makes the dates in the calendar unavailable if these dates were booked in some other booking resources.
Please check more about "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
Example of configuration:
Booking resources at the Booking > Resources page:
- House ( ID = 3 )
- Room #1 ( ID = 4 )
- Room #2 ( ID = 5 )
And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes into the pages like this
- House
[booking resource_id=3 aggregate='4;5' ]
- Room #1 ( ID = 4 )
[booking resource_id=4 aggregate='3' ]
- Room #2 ( ID = 5 )
[booking resource_id=5 aggregate='3' ]
....
If some rooms will be booked for a specific date(s) or time, these dates/time will be unavailable in House calendar.
And if House will be booked for a specific date(s), then in all Rooms (booking forms), these dates also will be unavailable.
Kind Regards.
Hi, i am using the Business.Medium.SingleSite license. I hope you can help me with this. My client wants:
1. Price display per day:
I need the "Daily cost" to appear clearly below the "Total cost of the reservation" in the calendar view. On payment options I have selected the cost by night. Currently, the total cost is shown with the shortcode [cost_hint] but I want the daily breakdown to be more visible, so after the total cost they can see the daily cost, but i cannot see any shortcode for that.
2. Three-step booking process:
Instead of directly showing the complete booking form below the calendar, I would like to implement a "Book" button below the calendar that, when clicked, takes the user to the booking form (with the dates already selected and complete the form. Right now here https://alozaina.eu/donde-dormir-test-2/ there are 2 steps: calendar+form and payment. I want to be calendar (button book), next step fill the form, thrid step confirmation and payment.
3. Date-based payment automation:
I have configured a period of 30 days prior to the check-in date in which immediate payment is not required. I need the system to:
- Automatically detect if the booking is within those 30 days
- If it's within the period, request the card but inform the customer that the charge will not be made until a specific date
- If it's outside the period, proceed with the normal process
Is it possible to do this? How can I do it?
Thanks
Hello.
1) There is no shortcode for the duly costs, because the costs per days can be different for different weekdays or seasons in your version.
You can enable to show the daily costs on calendar day cells or in mouse over tooltips at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings General page in “Tooltips in days” section.
Or you can use this shortcode to show the standard booking resource cost (which you defined at the Booking > Resources page):
2) Pleaee open the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page and Try to reset your booking form to one of default “Wizard style” booking form configurations.
So in this case you can have several steps for the booking.
3) Unfortunately it’s does not possible in actual Booking Calendar Business Medium version . Sorry.
Hi!
Thanks for your fast response. About the last point, is it possible if I upgrade to Bussiness Large? And how can i automate the updates?
Thanks
Hello.
1) You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the “Upgrade” menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.
2) You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
(Its will be improved in a future).
Kind Regards.
Thanks, but i am not sure if by upgrading to the Business large, it would be possible then to do the Date-based payment automation I was asking for. Is this a limitation only on Medium or in large i wouldnt be able to Automatically detect if the booking is within those 30 days and If it's within the period, request the card but inform the customer that the charge will not be made until a specific date or If it's outside the period, proceed with the normal process.
Thanks
Hello.

In the Booking Calendar Business Large version, you can enable the deposit payments at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Daily Costs page -> section Partial Payments,
and configure to show fixed deposit with 1 USD or some other minimum sum (to record the card details). Such deposit amount will shows only withing 30 days interval between today and check in date of booking.
Example:
2) Later you can send the payment request to the visitor to pay the full sum. Find more information at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/partial-payment-setup/
Test it here https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Kind Regards.
Hi! Just to let you know, all you just mentioned here (the deposit) it is available on the medium plan, even on the documentation you just gave me it says is it available from de medium business plan.
Hello.
Please disable this option "Show debug cost info" at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
This option useful only for test purpose to show your cost calculation (at front-end side after days selection) for better understanding how costs are working.
How can I set up prices depending on the number of visitors which should not be additional costs?
Or do I have to create two booking forms (lets say "Form 1-2 visitors" and "Form 3-6 visitors") from which the correct one is picked when I first start asking how many visitors will come?
Hello.
You can set up prices depending on the number of visitors at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Form Options Costs.
If you need to configure the specific costs for the different selection, please explain more detail about this, and I will try to help you.
Kind Regards.
Solve it myself. I'm working with multiple resources (Resource 1: " 1-2 visitors" and Resource 2: "3 - 6 visitors") for the same house now, so I can set up different prices (depending on season and number of visitors and duration) for each resource and use aggregation to show correct availability.
Hi, I am a configuring WP Booking Calendar - Business Large edition.
This is for a village hall that is hired out.
I am configuring it for time slots, as the hall can have multiple hirers in one day.
But I need to make the hall unavailable during regular bookings.
For instance, just one example would be 'every monday from 10am to 12noon.'
There are a lot of regular hirers across the week, so I was hoping to use 'seasons' and 'seasonal availability', but this is 'day' based and cannot specify hours.
I would also like to be able to mark the hall as unavailable from midnight until 8am.
There are far too many regular bookings to customise this in the booking form.
Please advise how we can achieve the desired affect, marking the 'times' that the hall is unavailable.
Thank you
Hello.
It's possible to have the different times selection for the different days in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#times-week-days
You can check more info about this configuration at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/different-time-slots-selections-for-different-days/
Also you can watch the legacy video about this config here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/different-time-slots-selections-for-different-days/
Kind Regards.
In the list of [content] fields, is it possible to not have empty fields visible in emails/pages/booking listing?
Using this example Can we show those additional name fields only if there is data in them?
Additionally: If we do not list a field in the "Content of booking fields data", is that data effectively lost even if a user fills it out?
Hello.
1) Unfortunately it is not possible to hide the labels of the form fields, which was not entered (filled).
2) No, such data still saved into database (if you have such field in the booking form).
If you will not have such shortcode in “Content of booking fields data” form then such field just will not be shown at the Booking Booking Listing page and in emails.
Kind Regards.

Hello.
Please disable this option "Show debug cost info" at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
This option useful only for test purpose to show your cost calculation (at front-end side after days selection) for better understanding how costs are working.
Hi! the strange thing is it was deselected...
Hello.
Probably it's because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and activate the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason for this issue.
Also try to update your version to latest update 10.11.2
You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
Kind Regards.
I am using this to book for a dog sitting business. I need to be able to charge by the day or by night depending on which resource is selected. (Day care or Boarding).
Hello.
In this case you need to have the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
1) You need to open the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Payment Setup > Payment Options page and set cost per 1 day in this page.
2) Then you need to open the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Prices > Duration-Based Costs page for your specific booking resource, where you need to charge per night, and configure the Duration-Based Costs like this:
Find more information at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configuring-duration-based-costs/ in example #3
Kind Regards.
Hi
I am using this plugin in Medium edition to import calendars from Booking.com - but they are imported into an google calender so it can be imported automatically into the calendar on the website - but it fails with an 403 error even though everything is setup as explained - and now I have upgraded to latest version and now the import button is gone.
Please help me get this fixed.
Hello.
All imports options are still available.
If you asked about the import from the Google Calendar, so then this option moved to "Bulk actions" dropdown menu in header of Booking Listing page.
Kind Regards.
Thanks - I found it but I still get the 403-error with acces denied to the feed but the api and the settings are the same as the were before.
It used to work like a charm but suddenly it won't import the calendar from google - and I can't get it to update automatically from booking.com
Hello.
Please be sure that your .ics feed from booking.com are accessible ! You can check it with support of your booking.com.
Booking Calendar imports only events that exist in the .ics feed and that was not imported before into the Booking Calendar plugin.
1) Firstly please recheck that your .ics feed contains events for specific dates.
You can check it at the "oPlugins panel" menu page in the "Upload .ics file and show events" section by clicking on "Show Events (.ics)" button.
2) Then recheck this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ics-importing-issue/
Everything is ok - the Booking.com calender is al OK - when I check the google calendar in the Oplugins panel it has acces to all from booking.com - but when I try to import it via the import button it still gives me an 403-error
Hello.
Sorry, do you import via ics feed from the booking.com into the Booking Calendar
Or from the Google Calendar into the Booking Calendar ?
Please send screenshot from the oPlugins panel, when you list your ics feed and screenshot how you try to import this ics feed.
Please send all this to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
I have just send the screenshots - we import from the google calendar - because we need to update the booking.com calendar as well - so we import booking.com into the google calendar - and from there we import into the booking Calendar
Hello.
If you use the import via .ics feeds then you need to configure the import like this.
Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
Please note, the import process is working in that case, when a visitor opens your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically accessing this page with booking import shortcodes to start the import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly the system will start the import process and only then show the booking form, when someone visits your page.
In case if you are having some issue of not ability to import new events, then check this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ics-importing-issue/
You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/
Please do not use import via Google Calendar API at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Sync > "Import Google Calendar Events" page!
