Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $20 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $30 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of multi site usage versions higher on $50 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Each specific version of Booking Calendar can be single site usage version, developer or multi site usage version.
Single site usage version, possible to install and activate only at 1 specific website.
Developer edition version, possible to install and activate at 2 different websites. Its can be test (developer) server and live website.
Multi site usage version, possible to install and activate maximum on 5 different websites.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Administrator can make the booking at admin panel at the "Add new booking" menu page and configure the different settings of the booking form and availability calendar at the general booking settings menu page.

Booking Calendar Personal - it's paid version, where is possible to have booking availability calendar for the each of multiple booking resources (like a room, cars or any services, etc…). You can add new and configure exist fields in the booking form. Also you can configure the email templates for the different booking actions. Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

Booking Calendar Business Medium - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you will have more advanced cost and availability management of the bookings. At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. Also at this version you will be able to search the available booking resources in your pages or posts for the specific check in/out dates and specific number of visitors. In this version is exist also the "super booking admin users", which can see and manage the bookings and booking resources from the all users and manage the status of other bookings users.     We are operating on WPBC version 8.4.1 small business, multiple sites, and using .ics imports from external booking site.
    My question is, is it possible to filter events on a value in the SUMMARY field so that certain events are not imported into WPBC?
    I would be happy to customize code, but don't know where to start ....

    I am really happy with your calendar, everything is set up exactly as I want it - just the mobile view is killing me 🙁
    On desktop I have 6 months shown (3 months in a row, 2 rows) and you can understand that it's a pain in the bum to scroll down all these 6 months on a mobile.

    1) If I understand right what's written in your archives, there is no option to show a different amount of months on mobile ?
    (also the workaround of showing one calendar on desktop and a different one on mobile does not work, right?)
    Are there plans from your side to develop the functionality to show a different number of months on desktop / mobile? Any ideas if / when this will be available?

    2) What options do I have to reduce the amount of scrolling my clients need to do on mobile?
    Can I show 2 months in a row for example on mobile while still showing 3months in a row on desktop?

    3)As a last ditch effort, would it work to show a 4 months (2x2) calendar on desktop and somehow deactive that the calendar displays differently on mobile and this way get a 2x2 calendar also on mobile?

    4) From your archive I understand that modification of style.CSS might be needed
    My style.CSS tells me: "CSS changes can be made in files in the /css/ folder. This is a placeholder file required by WordPress, so do not delete it."
    Any idea which .CSS would now be the right one to modify so that the calendar stops being responsive on mobile?

    • Hello.
      1) I will think about this, and add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin, but I can not say, when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.
      2-4) the issue with showing different number of months at mobile device, not only in the number of months, but also relative to JavaScript configuration.
      So its need to be changed somehow in code of plugin. I will think about this, and add this item to the todo list.

  3. Hi,

    I have a calendar (with 2x2 months, and then on the right side of the calendar a form field)

    Whatever I tried, I just don't manage to get them centered in the middle of the page.

    I also tried like it was advised somwhere else but it just puts the calendar in the middle and the form below the calendar.
    It also squeezed the calendar together, so I checked out the client.css - it seems to me that 290px is the reason for the squeezing - how can that be handled better?
    (see code snipped below from the client.css)

    I have a question about my calender: https://www.le-mattas.nl/test/
    I want to use seasons (for example; low-mid-high)

    When week 13 = in this example is midseason (from saturday until saturday) costs 500 euro (march 21 until march 28) and week 14 = lowseason which costs 395 euro from saturday march 28 until april 4.

    The day march 28 is the day that people leave, and other arrive.
    The problem that occurs, when booking from saturday the 28th until april 4, it should show me the lowseasonprice of 395 euro. But since the 28th was also (the week before 500 euro) it shows this price for that whole week.

    How can I solve this?

    it is possible to select multiple time ranges/time slots at the same time, ie so that client can define the time range? I made calendar with one hour time slots, but what if customer wants to book a resource from 10:00 to 14:00? Does he have to make four different reservations?

        Anyway, now I´m facing problem with starttime-endtime -code. For example if I book time 10:00-11:00 on a specific day and then go back to the booking calendar, that whole day is booked, and I can´t make any more reservations for that day? What am I doing wrong? Time duration-code works just fine and allows to make several reservations on specific day.

  6. Is it possible to "embed" the calendar in a page outside of the wordpress install using "require 'wp/wp-load.php';" and "do_shortcode" and, if so, what is the minimum javascript and css files I need to include?

      Booking Calendar is working only within the WordPress environment. So you need to load just entire WordPress. All css and JavaScript files, Booking Calendar plugin will load by oneself.

  7. Hi,

    When using German language the user gets redirected to an incorrect url after payment.
    First the user lands on the german version of the "booking-edit" page (https://offroad-camper.ru/booking-edit/?lang=de) that's working fine, but from there he gets redirected to the URL https://offroad-camper.ru/?lang=de/successful/?lang=de
    which is incorrect, the additional string ?lang=de after the domain is screwing up the url.

    (when using standard English language the booking is processing fine through all stages after payment)

    These are my settings:

    General settings/ Url to edit bookings

      Please recheck that there was no any wrong characters like white spaces, etc..
      so instead of this:

          can you change it to structure like this (in your translation plugin):

          https://offroad-camper.ru/de/

          So then you need to configure success urL like this:

          /successful[lang=de_DE]/de/successful
  8. I got one more question if I might please.

    How can I change the order of the items in the legend?

    Instead of:
    available, booked, pending

    I want them to appear like this:
    available, pending, booked

    I am happy to change some code, just point me please to the correct file.

    Ps: It would be really great if you one day find time to make your search function easier to use.
    If I could search support + all 4 archives at once and could use several search terms at once that would be really helpful!

    1)
    I set a price for the first day booked and an additional price for each additional following day booked
    Fx. customer books 25/3 and pays 100$
    customer books 25-27/3 and pays 100$+50$+50$

    Is that possible?

    2)
    I need af workflow like this
    1) Customer fill booking form
    2) Admin approve in admin panel
    3) Customer gets an email with a payment link

    what version do I need to accomplish this?

  10. I have set in MultiUser SingleSite 8.7.2 a booking form to show with calendar but it keeps showing the default form .
    What i am doing wrong ?
    That happens to all calendars and users .
    I have not checked the option under General ---> form that says :
    "Simple Booking Form " "Simple Booking Form Check if you would like to use a simple customization of the free version of the plugin to the form settings. "

    I have to say to you that i use shortcode for showing like this : "[booking type=[[calendar-id]] nummonths=2]" if that helps .

      1) You can define what booking form to show only in the Booking Calendar shortcode, during inserting it into the post or page. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
      Setting specific custom booking form as default at the Booking > Resources page is useful, only for showing correct booking details for specific booking resources at the Booking Listing page and in emails.

      Also please note, important info. If you configure booking form for "regular users" (not the super booking admin user), so then you must to login as this specific regular user and then configure this at the Booking > Settings > Form page. If you need to activate the "custom booking forms" for the regular users, so then you need to activate this option at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section: "Activate custom booking forms for regular users".

      2) Please note, booking resources from the regular users have own custom booking forms, when you logged in as specific regular user.

          • I am trying to figure out what i am missing ... I read again and again what you wrote.
            Just to let you understand .
            I was with a regular user who created 5 listings to my website and then he created 2 new forms .
            1 form for 3 of 5 listings and 1 for other 2 listings with same fields .
            (the point was the prices per person was same for 3 and the other for 2) .
            Then he put in resources the default form from drop down for each one (1 for 3 and the same second for other 2 resources ).
            That was right actions or there is any limitation for him to do that ?
            I have set the above settings you mantioned .
            I checked from regulars user side the problem .
            Sorry if i confused you , please let me understand if that is not capable of the plugin .
