Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of single site usage versions higher on $20 than difference in cost between 2 versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions of "developer" edition versions higher on $30 than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Each specific version of Booking Calendar can be single site usage version, developer or multi site usage version.
Single site usage version, possible to install and activate only at 1 specific website.

Multi site usage version, possible to install and activate maximum on 5 different websites.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Administrator and visitor can receive the standard email notifications about different actions, like a "new booking", "approve/decline/... of booking", etc... Administrator can make the booking at admin panel at the "Add new booking" menu page and configure the different settings of the booking form and availability calendar at the general booking settings menu page.

Booking Calendar Personal - it's paid version, where is possible to have booking availability calendar for the each of multiple booking resources (like a room, cars or any services, etc…). You can add new and configure exist fields in the booking form. Also you can configure the email templates for the different booking actions. Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

Booking Calendar Business Medium - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you will have more advanced cost and availability management of the bookings. At this version is possible to set the rates, which will depend from the season filters, plus you can set the more advanced cost for the booking, where cost is depend from the number of selected dates. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. You can even activate and configure for the resources the deposit payment feature, what is mean that visitor will pay at the payment form, the part of the final cost of the booking. This version is also support settings availability per each booking resource, which is depend from the season filters. Also you can able to configure the several customization of booking form fields, it's mean that different resources can have different form fields. Booking Calendar Business Large - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can make the several reservations per the same FULL date (not a time slot) for the same booking resource (availability calendar). At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability. Also at this version you will be able to search the available booking resources in your pages or posts for the specific check in/out dates and specific number of visitors. In this version is exist also the "super booking admin users", which can see and manage the bookings and booking resources from the all users and manage the status of other bookings users.     Thought I had set up the admin part booking function correctly. But on the user site, when you select a date and specific time slot, and press send, there is an error message saying "Error please select booking dates at calendar". When I simulate a booking for a specific time slot in the admin system, it is working. Could you please help me to identify if I missed some parts in the admin system to fill out?

  2. Booking Calendar: Wenn man ein Datum anklickt und alles ordnungsgemäß ausgefüllt hat, erscheint der Satz:
    Bitte wählen Sie im Kalender das Datum der Buchung.
    Das habe ich aber gemacht. Der Kalender lädt die neue Buchung nicht hoch. Bislang hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert; jetzt plötzlich nicht mehr. Was kann ich tun?

  3. I use the Booking Calendar in the free version. Can I change the way selected days are selected from individuals to the range? WordPress Version 2.4.2, BC Version 8.6

  4. Initially I was able to select dates and request bookings on the front end form, and they would email correctly and show on the back end that I have pending bookings that need to be approved. As I was testing last night to send my client instructions, everything seemed to stop working. In the front end form http://chicoryeventcenter.com/calendar-booking/ the visitor fills out the form and sends in. NOTE: is the visitor supposed to select the dates by clicking on the calendar? I thought so, but that is not working. After that I get one email with subject "Chicory Event Center Booking". It just shows me the information the visitor inserted. But I don't get an email saying I need to approve this booking, or when I go to the backend in the admin section, it does not show anything pending. Not sure why its no longer working? Can you help? This is the free version.

  5. If i synced calendars from booking.com and from air bnb...
    When I press approve to show that its been booked on the calendar (wordpress admin)
    does that automatically send the guest an email of approval? I don't want it to send an email
    if they already got confirmation from booking.com/airbnb?
    Not sure if thats elaborate enough but Im hoping that the only time they recieve an email of
    approval is when they go on my website and book from there...if they were to book on air bnb for example
    then their confirmation will come from that site...and when i approve on the admin side for my website
    will that also send an email saying I approved it?

      If you have activated the option "Auto approve bookings during import" at the Booking > Settings General page in Auto approving/cancellation section. So during importing the new bookings from other sources, these bookings will be auto-approved, but Booking Calendar will not send "Approved" emails about these bookings.
      Please booking sure to use latest updates of Booking Calendar and Booking Manager plugins.

  6. I have purchased the small business version of the booking form. But I have couple of usage issues. When I view the timeline view in the WordPress CMS I can click on one of the bookings and see the details of the bookings and the timeslots etc. But when I use the timeline view in the front-end template I cannot click on the booking and I cannot see any information about the booking. How do I enable this clickable pop-up?

    I have tested this in a default theme and it no different. I am using chrome on a Mac.

      You can enable these feature at the Booking > Settings General page in "Timeline" section.
      Please set checked this option "Booking details in popover"
      and configure this option: "Booking title (TimeLine)".

  7. Dear support,

    is it possible in any version of Booking Calendar, to
    a) enable individual logins for several users
    b) enable this logins without having to login on the WordPress-login at example.com/wp-admin but directly on example.com?
    c) Auto-fill "name" and "email" for logged in users?
    d) select multiple resources (for the same dates) in just one booking process?

      a,b) it’s can be standard WordPress users logins only. Booking Calendar plugin does not have any other logins.
      c) yes, it’s possible logged in WordPress users. You can activate this option at the Booking > Settings General page in Form section.
      d) Unfortunately it’s does not possible. Sorry.

          • I just tried to set a default value for the email and name field and it worked, but only with fixed values for all users. How can I refer to user data when setting a default value here?

              You need to login (into WordPress system) with specific user. And only after this plugin will auto fill booking form fields with data from this user profile.

                    Code is correct.
                    Please note, only “Name” and “Email” fields will be auto filled by user details in the booking form at front-end side. If this visitor was logged in as specific user.
                    And you need to activate the “auto fill form fields” option at the Booking > Settings General page in Form section.

    I have a problem with the wordpress plugin. Not all admin-emails will be sent when a guest signs up a booking.
    I think this has to do with the amount of selected days in the calendar.

    Could you please help me out?

    • Hello.
      Emails does not relative to the number of selected days.

      Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.

      Please check this troubleshooting instruction https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/

      The most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is 'sending emails via php' option and it can resolve that issue.
