  1. I apologize for the confusion regarding my previous inquiry, which was related to the Staging environment while checking the Booking Calendar.

    However, I encountered a significant issue after deploying an updated page in Staging. All reservations that had come in during that time have disappeared.

    Is there any way to resolve this issue?

    • Hello.
      1) You can click on "Reset" button at top right side in Filter toolbar at the Booking Listing page to show all the bookings.
      2) In case, if you have issue with migrating booking data from one server to other, then check this intruction.
      Here is general info about migrate process (in case if you will not make fully identical transfer).

      1) You need to inform us about old and new url of websites for your Booking Calendar version.

      2) You need to transfer the Booking Calendar files from the ../wp-content/plugins/ of old website to new website.

      According transfer of the Booking Calendar Data.

      3) Please backup and restore to the new site the DB tables that is starting from the "wp_booking" term, for example using the phpMyAdmin tool.

      Please watch this video guide about this export: https://youtu.be/4425kRMaFso

      4) Also you will be need to backup and restore some records from the wp_options table, where option_name fields are starting from the "booking_" term.

      Please watch this video guide about this export: https://youtu.be/EZ4jxJDlTFs

      Helpful tip from video guide. In the old database you need to execute this SQL in your phpMyAdmin tool.

      SELECT * FROM wp_options WHERE option_name LIKE 'booking%'

      After this you can export SQL file for importing in your new database.

      5) You can make such migrate from one to other website only once. And of course you need to delete the Booking Calendar version at old website.

      P.S. Please note, unfortunately we can not provide migrate process at the customers websites, because of security reasons.
      Please check more here about what support we are providing: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/what-support-do-you-provide/
      Thank you for understanding.

      Kind Regards.

  2. Hello!
    Could you please advise me, I want to use a booking calendar on WordPress in multisite mode. There will be several languages on the site. Is it possible to set up a plugin to display all bookings in one place, on the main site?

    Example:
    resource.com - site with main language
    resource.com/lang-2 - second language site

    If a user makes a reservation on resource.com/lang-2, then it should be displayed and managed on the main resource.com site

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately, it will not work in such way, because you will have duplicated bookings - you will see the individual booking admin panel with different bookings at each such sub-site.

      Instead of WordPress MU, you can use some translation plugin, like WPML or Polylang to have the several languages at the same website.

      Find more information at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/several-languages/

  3. Good morning
    I am interested in the Business Large version and later possibly in multi-user. I have two more questions that I have not found an answer to (you urgently need a search function here in the support forum!)

    1. Is it somehow possible to offer the payment method 'invoice' in addition to Paypal and the others?

    2. Is it possible to block others for the same period depending on the room you have ordered?

    For example: There is a large seminar room and various offices that can all be booked individually. But if you book the seminar room, then, for example, room 1 and room 3 can no longer be booked for this period because it is then not possible to work there.

    Not a must: Ideally, the seminar room should only be able to be booked if the selected adjacent rooms are not yet booked.

    --
    Possibly also by intervening in the code. We have PHP developers on site. But this would have to be checked and implemented again after every update and is also very costly. Hence my question as to whether this is possible in the plugin.

    Thank you

    • Hello.
      1) Unfortunately, Booking Calendar does not support invoices. sorry. You can enable the Pay by cash option at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Payment Setup page and there configure the text template in a way that it can look like invoice, or you can do this in the same way with "bank transfer" payment method. The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.Net, Opayo - Elavon (former SagePay), iDEAL Buckaroo and iPay88 payment gateways integration (also plugin support showing text info for payment by cash and bank transfer - its only show text info but does not connect to any bank system), other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

      Please watch more in this video: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-payments/

      If you want to make the integration of your payment system by yourself, you will be able to check how integrated payment systems exist in the plugin like Stripe payment gateway. Please check more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/

      Please note, if you modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guarantee the correct work of the plugin and do not support it.

      2) It’s possible to make such a configuration with aggregate parameter. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
      I will explain it in an example of booking separate rooms and the entire house (your large seminar room).
      Please note, all such separate properties will have separate booking forms with calendars at the front-end side of your website. It means that you can book an entire house, or specific room in a separate booking form.
      So in case if you want to show as unavailable some dates or times in all calendars (booking resources), if some booking was made in only one calendar (booking resource), then it’s possible to configure it with "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode ( it's possible in all paid versions of Booking Calendar). This parameter makes the dates in the calendar unavailable if these dates were booked in some other booking resources. Please check more about "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
      Example of configuration:
      Booking resources at the Booking > Resources page:
      - House ( ID = 3 )- Room #1 ( ID = 4 ) - Room #2 ( ID = 5 )
      And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes into the pages like this
      - House[booking type=3 aggregate='4;5' ]
      - Room #1 ( ID = 4 ) [booking type=4 aggregate='3' ]
      - Room #2 ( ID = 5 ) [booking type=5 aggregate='3' ] ....
      If some rooms will be booked for a specific date(s) or time, these dates/time will be unavailable in House calendar.And if House will be booked for a specific date(s), then in all Rooms (booking forms), these dates also will be unavailable.

      Kind Regards.

      • Thank you for the quick answer
        I have two more questions about this.

        1 (Invoice) Have I understood that correctly, so I can do the following?:
        I offer Paypal and an alternative 'Invoice' button, when selected none of your integrated payment systems are used and only the email is sent to us with the information 'the customer wants to pay by invoice' aka custom text.

        2 (Aggregate) Is the aggregate system also possible if the seminar room can be booked with time slots and the rooms by the day (or the other way around) or is that independent of that?

        Thank you again

        • Hello.
          1) "alternative 'Invoice' button"
          It will be not the Invoice button, but configured "text template" bellow the PayPal buttons. Test it here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/
          Enable the Pay in Cash option at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Payment Setup page.
          2) Aggregate feature, just add booking dates or booking times to the booking resource (calendar), where it is configured.
          So it is doesn't depend if it was full day bookings or booking for specific time on selected date.
          Kind Regards.

          • Okay, many thanks for your quick response.
            Then I will present this to the decision makers.

            Kind regards and have a nice day

  4. Hello Support,

    The Hash of the booking is changing when edited by the admin to send the payment reminder email, which is causing the Link to pay the remaining amount (attached in the payment reminder email sent to customer) to say that "Oops! We could not find your booking. The link you used may be incorrect or has expired. If you need assistance, please contact our support team."

    We have ensured that the setting "Change hash after the booking is approved" is disabled.
    Can you please tell us how to solve the issue?

    • Hello.
      Try to make this fix.
      Please open this file ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder}/includes/_capacity/create_booking.php

      ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

      then find this code:

      $sql_field_arr[] = array( 'name' => 'hash',              'type' => 'MD5(%s)',   'value' => time() . '_' . rand( 1000, 1000000 ) );

      and replace it to this code:

            if ( ( wpbc_is_new_booking_page() ) && (isset($_GET['booking_hash'])) ) {
            } else {
               $sql_field_arr[] = array( 'name' => 'hash',              'type' => 'MD5(%s)',   'value' => time() . '_' . rand( 1000, 1000000 ) );
            }

  5. How do I turn off payment features? All my resources are free (I'm on the Business Large version). Thank you!

    • Hello.
      You can disable payment systems at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Payment Setup page in payment options section.

    • Hello.
      If you need to enable the auto approving of all incoming bookings, then it’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions.
      You can enable this option at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings General page in “Auto Cancellation / Auto Approval” section.
      Kind Regards.

  6. Hi,

    have a few requests for the next upgrade:
    -we need two payments, a refundable deposit and the rental itself, can this be made so that the deposit is not subtracted from the rental amount?
    -we would like to have the ability to change to a 3rd colour in calendar when a payments is complete, and then again to a 4th colour after rental is complete and deposit refunded.
    -also would be nice to show the calculation in notes for rental amount, add ons, and an fixed service fee.

    • Hello.
      1) You can add such additional cost for the "refundable deposit" in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Form Options Costs page. In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to configure additional costs for selected options in the select boxes or check boxes (such options can be hidden and checked by default). It's useful in case, if you need to add the tax cost or cleaning fee or any other additional cost for the booking. You can configure it at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Form Options Costs page. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost
      Check this FAQ guide about configuration of additional costs based on time duration: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/configure-additional-costs-for-time-duration/ You can use the same method to configure additional costs for any selected options in select boxes or checkboxes in your booking form.

      2) Currently it is not possible. We will add improvements to this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of the plugin, but I can not say when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.

      3) You can use the cost hints in the booking form and in the "Content of booking fields data" form, relative to this info: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/features/#additional-cost

      Tip & Trick. You can show cost hints separately for the each items, that have additional cost at Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page. For example, if you have configured additional cost for my_tax option at Advanced cost page, then in booking form you can use this shortcode [my_tax_hint] to show additional cost of this specific option. Add "_hint" term to name of shortcode for creation hint shortcode.

      • 1) We need to have the first payment of NOK 7000 to separate the deposit in the accounting system, hence the need to both to show the customer the correct total amount without the refundable deposit, plus have the next payment without the deduction of the NOK 7000.

        • Hello.
          1) You can enable the fixed deposit payment (e.g. option: "fixed total in $") at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Daily Costs page -> section Partial Payments as NOK 7000
          Find more information at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/partial-payment-setup/

          2) For ability to pay rest of the sum (balance), you will be need to edit manually the cost at the Booking Listing page for this specific booking and send the payment request.
          Find more information at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/partial-payment-setup/#sending-payment-requests

          • Yes, that's what we do now, however the customers will see this:

            Total cost: kr 32895
            Deposit Due: kr 7000
            Balance Remaining: kr 25895
            Pay Deposit cost: kr 7000

            After placing the booking, so if we could remove the line "Balance remaining" it would be awesome!

            • Hello.
              you can do this only by the custom fix in the code.
              Please open this file ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder}/includes/_capacity/confirmation.php

              ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

              then find this code:

              			$confirmation['ty_booking_costs'] .= '<br/>';
              			$confirmation['ty_booking_costs'] .= __( 'Balance Remaining', 'booking' ). ': ';
              			$confirmation['ty_booking_costs'] .=      wpbc_get_cost_with_currency_for_user(   ($params_arr['total_cost'] - $params_arr['deposit_cost'] )
              																							, $params_arr['resource_id']
              			                                            );

              and remove these code.

              Disclaimer. Unfortunately we can not start, right now, some personal customization or custom development, because we have almost no free time.
              Check more about, what support we are providing here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/what-support-do-you-provide/
              Thank you for understanding.
              Please note, if you modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guarantee the correct work of the plugin and do not support it.

              Kind Regards.

              • One more question, can we also edit the code to hide "Note" comments in timeline? It just takes up to much space on the screen when we click on a booking to view the info, and once you try to scroll down the pop up window immediately will close.

                • Hello.
                  Please add this CSS to this file: ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/core/timeline/v2/_out/timeline_v2.1.css

                  You can check how to add own CSS customization to CSS Theme Editor here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/

                  Here's the code you need to add:

                  .popover-content .flex-popover-content-data .wpbc-popover-booking-notes {
                    display: none;
                  }

  7. Hi we are running WordPress 6.62 and Booking Calendar Large v10.5.1.
    When we toggle off the "Emails Sending", top right corner above Full list of booking orders, it does not work.
    We have been turning this off for some bookings but the customer is still getting an email for Payment Request even when it is toggled off.
    We have also tried under the Payment Requests Email template setting, toggling off the customer's option to receive email. This made no difference.
    Could you please look into this and advise how to resolve this?

    • Hello.
      1) The ONLY purpose of the button "Send payment request" in the booking Listing page is to send email with payment request. This button does not do anything else for the booking. That's why even, if the toggle the "Email sending" turned off, the payment request email send after clicking on "Payment request" email.

      2) The purpose of "Email sending" toggle, is not sending emails, while you approve, decline or move the bookings to the trash. In these case, system wil make specific action for the booking but will not send the emails.
      Kind Regards.

      • Hi, not sure if you received my reply? We use the "payment request" function to send customers their tour voucher and confirm full receipt of payment. On occasion when we don't want to send this to the customer we've unchecked the "emailing sending" box, the admin receives the email, manually edits it then emails it to customer. This process has worked well for many years. I note in the "Payment Request Email template" there is an option to send to customer and/or admin. Although we've always used the "email sending" checkbox above the booking orders list, should utilising the options in the template be a way to achieve the same function? Thanks.

        • Hello.
          1) Ok, I understand that you need to use sending payment request for sending emails only to administrator instead of visitor.
          2) As in my previous comment description, the payment request feature has the primary purpose to send the emails to the visitor (not the admin), that's why the "Not sending" emails toggle is not works in this case. We will add improvements to this feature to the to-do list for having it in future updates of the plugin, but I can not say when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.

          • 1. For standard bookings we send payment request email to customers. For custom bookings we only email it to the administrator.

            2. Thank you, it used to work fine on previous versions of the plugin.

            Appreciate you adding this to the to-do list. Kind regards.

  8. Hello,

    We are entering a new year, so new prices. How can you adjust the prices starting from a certain date (1-1-2025). We have one resource with extra options in de form.
    We would like to show the correct prices to avoid trouble later on.

    • Hello.

      If you need to configure new seasonal costs for the 2025 year for specific dates, then you need to create a new seasons, that do NOT intersect with the dates on other seasons at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Seasons page.

      And then configure the rates for these new seasons at the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Daily Costs page -> section Seasonal Pricing.

      Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/seasonal-pricing-setup/

      Kind Regards.

      • We just have new prices for the whole year (and probably also for the years to come). As example up to 31 dec 2024 € 100, and from 1-1-2025 € 105 (inflation correction) Can that be done? For both the price for the resource and the prices in de form (for the extra's).

        • Hello.
          1) It is not possible to configure the different cost for the WP Booking Calendar > Prices > Form Options Costs page , that will depends from the seasons. Sorry.

          2) Related costs of the dates in different seasons (years), please check my previous comment.

          Kind Regards.
